I've heard of a couple law suits even worse than the McDonalds coffee.
There was a guy stealing somebody's hubcaps. And the guy who owned the car came back and got in. He didn't know the guy was stealing his hubcaps at the time. He started the car and started to drive, and he broke the theifs fingers. The theif sued the driver and won.
Somebody broke into a family's house while they were out on vacation. He couldn't get back out of the house, so he was stuck in the garage for two weeks with nothing to eat or drink except for dog food and cans of Coke. When the family got back he sued them and won.

Samurai-Katagi MahouTragicQueen Samurai-Katagi MahouTragicQueen Several years ago a woman sued Mc Donalds because she spilled coffee on herself in her car. She won. Are you serious? Wow. That's why coffe cups say "Caution: Contents May be Hot," now. Shouldn't you be able to feel if it's hot, without there be a label to tell you that it is? I think the cup is made of styrofoam. That's stuff doesn't conduct heat very well. And I'm sick of threads repeating the same thing over again period. gonk

It's annoys me when people use adjectives to discribe entertainment with no base to it other than the fact that they don't like it. Wheather something is cliche or unintelligent is a matter of opinion but they there should be reasons for it. I skimmed over a review for the Cowboy Bebop movie that said it used all anime sterotypes in existance. It was obviously ment to be an exageration, but I really don't see any anime sterotypes in it and the writer sure didn't say any. Today I heard someone say: "March of the Penguins looks really stupid." My response: "It's a documentary. gonk "
I find it offensive when someone confuses Asain countries and then when I correct them they respond, "It's the same thing." There is nothing wrong with making mistakes, but refusing to admitt Japan and China are separate countries is just horrible. This has happened to me on several occasions and is the bais for the murderous Domo-kun image in my rando-sig.

All my friend are losers. Seriously. Last week I invited one of my friends over and told her I could pick her up at one and she said ok. Then when I went over to her house her mom told me she went to work. You see, none of my friends know how to use a phone. I have one friend that never answers the phone. One of my other friends always has some stupid excuse for not hanging out, like "what are you doing this weekend?" "I have to do chores *clicik*" (she never stayes on the phone longer than thirty seconds). Really, how long does it take to do chores? A couple hours at most. Another close friend of mine is an illgeal immigrent and has to work twelve hours a day, seven days a week. crying
I was always taught that if things don't go your way, it's your fault and you need to fix them but there must be some point where I can stop blamming myself?

They're all ******** ridiculous. And then there's the new one about that guy who killed some people during the Mississipi burning. 20 years later, they finally find him, he's 80 years old and needs help to breath. No matter what you do, you can't get justice. Send him to jail, he dies in a month. Or you can let him go free and he still dies in a month. Either way, you don't get justice.

The bus service in my neighbourhood sucks balls! I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, and both my parents are working, so I can''t get a ride. Well the bus I need to take goes to two places. So while looking at the bus schedual, I can''t figure out which time is which for the bus I need to take. I could either take it at -- time and be 30 minutes early, or I could take it at -- time and be late. Now once I realized that the times I should be looking at had a K next to them, I figured out that my bus didn''t even run at the time I needed it to. So now I need to wake up at 11:00 to call my dad to remind him that I need a ride to my appointment. But if the bus service in my neighbourhood didn''t suck so much a**, I could get a few minutes more sleep. It''s the same thing with basicly all the busses. The most convieniant bus stops running after 9:00am, and when it starts running again it only goes into my neighbourhood, not out. Plus it only runs into my neighbourhood till 6:30. Then there''s the bus that takes 40 minutes to get where you want to go, and only runs every hour.
People had better be right when they say that they''re trying to improve the bus service, cause it pisses me off.

As some of you may know, I'm an automotive enthusiast - especially for classic American performance cars, and most especially for Pontiacs. What I find irritating is that on the whole, most muscle car fans are white, middle-aged men. As you might guess, this group tends to be rather conservative in their politics. Witness this thread on the Performance Years Online Pontiac Forum: http://216.178.81.108/forums/showthread.php?t=450148Now, I'm not disagreeing that illegal immigration is a problem and needs to be dealt with, the attitudes these old farts show about this (and pretty much everything else) galls me. I won't even get started on the 'import vs. domestic' argument. crying
