+Loli Lace+ NeverMoreBlue <3s to loli-chan! i was thinking " what if we all get in trouble for being off topic..!? i dont wanna be kicked out T-T" But yea i agree there needs to be a just chatting thread somewhere..and im glad its here. I dont get to talk to ppl often since i dont see my friends at school often and my friends on msn dont talk to me..>.< *sipps tea with milk* its cold here... its it cold where any of yu are? what do yu do to keep warm? Freezing here...i live in the midwest. [chicago woot~!] Anywho, its quite chilly and i have been going to the doctors the past 2 days, so i guess i stay warm not dealing with my ever infamous school and the changing temperature stages. We do need a chatting thread... sweatdrop Hoorah for us Midwesterners!!! *lives in Minnesota* I feel so alone out here... as a lolita and general Japanese-culture-lover. haha. It's super cold here, too. Last night some of us dormers took a trip to Target and my friend and I were so cold we used eachother as blankets. I love human blanket piles. hahaha. I wish I had some tea right now... I'm sick of being sick... but we're not allowed food or drink in the lab and I left my travel mug in the dorm room. gonk

Being offtopic isn't grounds for banning, as far as I've been told. I'm on the east coast right now, impatiently counting down the days until I fly home to the west coast, and stay there. It's been randomly attempting to snow the past couple days. But, it's so thin that it keeps melting. Although, the lakes on campus started to freeze over this evening, so maybe it will stay cold. Blackberry, you're sick, too? I've been sick since Friday, and it's totally wiped me out. Plus, I took 45 lbs of 'books' to the post office to ship home today. It would have been even heavier if it really was all books. sweatdrop So, my bicepts have hurt all day. And then, I went to the registrar to get a withdrawal form, 'cause I'm leaving school, and they sent me to the dean of the college's office. And her secretary told me the forms were actually with the class deans. I was mad, because the website said they were at the registrars, and I wanted to look over the form before I went and talked to my class dean because I've already talked to her a lot, and don't feel like seeing her again. And, I'm exhuasted. So...I'm going to wait to do that until next monday. Because I really don't want to see her.

West coast pearl? what state?
i was sick last week but ive bben taking flinestones vitamins fora while to try and stay not sick >.< though i have been coughing and have had a bad headache. im glad to know thats not grounds for banning
Im sure ill be laughed at but 50 degrees here is fairly cold to me.. considering i can stand the 120 heat this blasted desert puts me throught every summer, oh washington state how i miss yu..
@ sage: i agree i have yet to meet another lolita out here..though im fairly certain im not the only japanese-culture-lover here... atleast i hope not..

In my old school my friend and I talked about jrock a lot, and you wouldn't believe how many people would say "What? Japan has ROCK music? That's SO WEIRD." O_o. But now in my new school people, even teachers, like anime and jrock and know what lolita is, even if they don't dress it. I love it. Like, I was sitting in the computer lab two days ago and my friend laughing at my "I heart Hentai" pin (this isn't a very lolitaa thing, but I can't help it, I think hentai is absolutly hilarious) and I said to my friend "Have you ever seen Bible Black?" I swear to god, every single boy in the computer lab immediatly looked up. It was so funny. I still feel alone out here, though, even with as many culture-lovers as there are. lol, I have problems.

Yeah, the frustrating part is that I've been taking my meds, and my normal vitamins, plus extra, and I still got sick. I think it's mostly about the stress. I talked to my mom on the phone last night, and got my plane flight switched to a week from tomorrow. I would have asked for earlier, but I have two performances. One on the 12, and the other on the 13, and the only reason I'm still here at school is because of those music groups. Otherwise, I would be flying home two weeks from today. Anyway, I started crying really badly, and felt like crap, and it wasn't fun, but I felt better afterwards. Ah, I live in washington. The STATE, for all you east coast people. razz Where in WA do you live? I'm in Tacoma, and you should come visit me, if you can. Or, if you're in eastern WA, when I go visit my grandma, I could see if I could meet up with you. Blackberry, I know the feeling of isolation. I went from an arts highschool to a liberal arts college, and it's like being in a forest full of ghosts. Well, actually, all of my best friends are unhappy with the schools they ended up going to, and one of them has also decided to leave college for the present. My friend who went to an art college is just frustrated with the way they require her to follow their plans of study, and are so commercially minded. They also don't seem to understand the concept of interdisciplinary study. :/ Hey, I just realized something. By Novala's standards, we're good lolitas, if we feel isolated. xd

Pearl: i live in southern california unfortunatly but i had gone up to WA to visit my best friend and loved it there! so green! she lives in mt vernon witch isnt far from tacoma. Yu do way to much, seriously yu need a vacation!

Oh, ok. When you said you lived in the desert, I thought maybe you lived in eastern washington, and were exaggerating. Although, parts of it really are desert.
I love Mt Vernon! I went to the tulip festival there, once. ( Something that may make you laugh. When you say Mt Vernon isn't far from Tacoma, I agree, but on the East Coast, it would be considered far. Heh. )
And, yeah, I do a lot of stuff. If I'm going to s cali, or I hear of a meetup, I'll let you know.
Oh. My power cord for my computer suddenly died last night. My computer is still alive, but I don't want to use it unless it's an emergency, so, until the 14th, I will be not very active in this guild. I'm using campus computers probably once, daily. Thankfully, my mom and brother use the same power cord as I do, so at home I can charge my computer's battery without a problem.

Yeah, it's a little over an hour, when I last went. About the same amount of time it takes to get to Rainier.
I'm in the computer lab of the language resource center, right now...but it's weird being online so little, compared with what I got used to. Only three more days without my computer. Yay!
