"I believe you can stay here for the time being. We will have to talk to our department chairs to see what they will do. We cannot act without them - they give us authority to use weapons so we can fight for you, if need be.
If you wish to rest, we have special rooms for you down the hallway and to the left. Hopefully they will be suited to your needs."

Brail started to walk through the halls."Um hello?" He looked in every room. When he saw people they were to much in a hurry to answer his question. "What's going on?" He opened his laptop and Emailed any GIB address he knew. I'm not sure, but Idon't know if it's just me, but I feel left out somewhere. Where is everybody? He clicked send and waited.

Helping unpack so much of the Shin's luggage turned out to be a much more trying job than she had first anticipated, causing Lorna to run late... very late in fact, missing the entire meeting. Luckily, she'd been informed prior to the landing of thier guests what the situation was, just not in full detail as her other agents had been briefed. One she'd finally finished getting them settled, she heaved a sigh as she wandered from the hangar, making her way tiredly to the meeting room. Blinking tiredly at Gambol and MD, she raised her brows over keen eyes, crossing her arms over her chest whilst she leaned against the wall. "What'd I miss?"

G sighed.
"It looks like these guys are looking for help. A couple of refugee aliens, the... uh... Kri, brought trouble with them - and now the trouble has defiled the holy places of the Shin."

"Hmm. The question is, are the Kri hostile? It's not my personal forte, but we may have to pick up weapons if it comes to that," she mused, sizing up the task at hand. "And as much as I hate to think it, are we sure the Shin's story is legit? How do we know they didn't do something to the Kri to begin with?"

MD had a feeling that this whole situation was going to become much more complicated than it needed to be.

Ricepaper swore. Again. Why did she always miss the important things?
Bah, nevermind, she thought to herself. If they need me they can ask.
But just to be sure, Ricepaper decided that for the good of GIB she had better go ahead and offer her services upfront.
She sent a message to Lorna:
Agent Ricepaper of the Mental and Phsycological department reporting. If we have new visitors, someone's going to have to check out their mental health.
Ricepaper didn't mean to be disrespectful, but the water had taken its time to boil in her attempt to make herself some hot chocolate, which had caused her to miss everything. But now that she had her hot chocolate, all would probably be well.

MD stood up, gathered all of her papers and waited for Lorna to be ready.

Lorna, fussing with her message gizmo that had beeped at her angerly, nodded in reply as MD spoke. “Coming.” Clicking a response back to Ricepaper, she wandered to MD’s side as she did so.
Go right ahead, just make sure they’re all comfortable and report any findings back to me.
Pressing the send key, she nodded to MD as she slipped it back into her pocket. “Let’s go.”

Ricepaper looked at the message from Lorna then slipped the message gizmo (yey xD) into her pocket. "Yes ma'am," she said out loud to herself, even though she knew no one was around to hear her. Grabbing her breifcase in one hand and her hot chocolate in the other, she headede through the halls towards the newcomers in much better mood, now that she had some liquid joy in her system.
Soon soon came across two very tall beings, the like of which she had rarely if ever seen before. "Excuse me," she said clearly and slightly slow, unsure of their capacity to understand Gaian language, "Are you the ones who just arrived?"

G sat in her office for a bit.
"Shoot. Nothing to do," she said.
Her mind raced back to the aliens. And then she looked at her G-Berry.
"Shoot," she laughed.
She sent a message to MD and Lorna:
"There has got to be something more exciting to do than just waiting. Can I join you?"

Brail seeing that noone was replying to his message, shut his computer and walked through the halls hoping to find something or someone and find out why this place was pretty empty. "Hmmmm..." He said thinking outloud. "Why is no one replying...I guess some people are lazy or didn't get the message." He looked throughout the halls. "Or people just don't like me. Or they are too busy to check." He said. "I guess too busy or didn't get the message."
