Khalida Nyoka I hear the movie was terrible, though. I'm not too far into it yet though... towards the beginning, when he is talking with his Parole Officer... The movie is amazing.

Yeah, I'm still early in the book, too. I'd continue reading it now, but not only am I swamped with school, tech work, real work, editing/compiling school paper, and teaching old people Spanish, but we're reading Hamlet in AP Lit, and I'm already behind on that. Jesus, it's been a busy week.
Anyway, on the topic of apologies, my mother haunted my childhood with, "don't be sorry, just don't do it." Damn, I hated that phrase. But while I feel most people don't apologize enough, some do it too much. "I had a fight with my dad tonight." "Oh, I'm sorry." Or, "I've got a cold." "I'm sorry you're sick." I just find it...decievingly insincere. Even if I know they mean well.
I don't know, I'm just weird like that.

But if it bothers you, you should say something so I can stop. See? and I'm not apologizing for it, even though I want to.

Not enough for me to say something under normal circumstances, anyway.
