After a moment of thought, Zane decided to become something quiet and unnoticed. Not an ant or a spider, those were usually squashed. Not a rat or mouse, those were despised for disease. Zane took the shape of a ladybug, a symbol of good luck. Surely no one would care to notice a ladybug, or at least they would be superstitious enough not to squash it. Zane flew into the castle and headed towards the gallery where he had heard (with his enhanced animal hearing) that the princesses were. Better to take two birds with one shot, he supposed.

Aurora had been in the gallery expecting to meet up with the rest of her family. She had just come back from helping the apothecary in the forest gathering up necessary plants to make a pain reliever. She was wearing her forest outfit: A bell sleeve peasant top with a form fitting leather vest that laced up the front, a pair of pair of dark green thick leggings with a long skirt silted high up the sides, riding boots and a forest green cloak.
She was sitting down holding the basket of fresh pants watching her sister pace about. “Quit pacing, your going to wear a hole through the floor,” she remarked and the turned away. Just then she heard a bunch of commotion, soldiers barking orders, a few servants screaming. “How odd,” she muttered and stood up walking closer to the door. She put her ear to the door to listen. There were footsteps running in every direction and a rather large group coming this way so she stepped back from the door and moved next to a large statue that she could duck behind, just in case.

He looked out a small window in the Prince's door and noticed a ladybug,"Huh?"He opened the door,his sword in his hand.

Zane flew along, past the room that the prince was in. He was tempted, but as earlier mentioned, he'd rather take out two birds with one shot. He continued on towards the gallery, ignoring the man who opened the door to the prince's room. He neared the gallery and landed next to the door. It was raised high enough off the ground that he could crawl through it. He entered and moved to a corner of the room. One princess was pacing, the other was seated with a basket. He couldn't put his finger on it, but his animal instincts seemed to take a liking to the princess that was seated, but Zane quickly pushed the feeling away. He had a mission.

Aurora moved away from the corner seeing that nobody was coming in. "I wonder what’s going on," She thought going back to her basket and sat down one again. She was only sitting for a little when she suddenly felt a presence in the room, not only just her sister. She looked at the door and something red caught her eye. "Oh a ladybug," she whispered and got up to look at it. She bent over it and examined it. "You must have come in with my plants," she cooed to the ladybug. "Though why wouldn't I have noticed you before." She offered a twig to the ladybug to crawl on, but she began to get a weird vibe; something was defiantly off.

Aurora looked up at the stranger, her free hand moving to her boot where she kept a dagger hidden. She kept her movement slow not to attracted attention to that hand just in case she would have to spring an attack. She straightened up slightly, as much as one could while crouching, staring intently with out blinking. "And who might you be?" Aurora asked her voice sweet, but there was a certain force behind it.

'This soldier again?' Zane thought. 'He's everywhere I am today.' Zane again began thinking of plans. Should he just attack now and hope for the best? No, he would attract unwanted attention and the prince would be completely locked down. Should he wait for the Devil's Peak army to come and leave the monarchs to their fate? No, that was another bad idea, for he wouldn't get his full pay. Zane thought long and hard of what to do now.

Aurora froze in place. "What?" she asked as she processed the information that she just got. Her sister walked up behind her. "Mum and Dad are dead?" she asked as the color began to drain from her face. Aurora grabbed her sisters arm. "She doesn't take to ill news very well," she said leading her sister to the seat.
