I expect she was a Japanese business woman, or someone like his own mother, who didn't seem to have much of an occupation beyond child reering and following Souchiro around crying.

Wow, I never new the series went on that far. I guses I just figured it ended short like the anime. I wonder where I could find those volumes that have thier childeren in them.

The future story is... one chapter. The main story of the manga ends at G Rev's world championships, which is actually earlier than the anime's end. It's more fleshed out though.

Like Zii said, Colby-san, the future story consists of only one chapter, near the end of the fourteenth manga volume. Hope that helps!
As for Kai panicking during Gou's birth - LOLOLOL! And its so much easier for me to imagine that as, according to my aunt, my dad was panicking during my birth. xD
