I'm the only one in my section, (I play contra clarinet) so I made an imaginary rival, Willard. he's last chair cause he cant play because he has a contra made of styrophome. he has mousey brown hair and really thick glasses. he's really ugly and a major d**k-head.

We are a small group of three tubas. We WOULD have four, but noooooo, my sister (who plays tuba) HAD to go to smart people school.

There have been eight alto saxes in each band I've been to since 6th grade, and I'm a freshman :O

As I understand it, the distribution in orchestra is supposed to be a lot different than band. Even so, I think our orchestra is huge compared to others... or at least our violin section is.
1st violin - 12 <- my section biggrin
2nd violin - 50ish?
A few years back we had over 70 violins, but for some reason not as many freshmen are joining now... =/

Uhm. Well We have pretty much 13 trumpets in the section. -nods- There are more of course. That is just all I can remember.

We have somewhere between 49 to 60 clarinets. There were 66 in my section freshman year though.

Apparently there used to be like 50 flutes but band became unpopular over here and it never pushes double digits anymore. D:
