Marcus DeSavage, after several thousand miles on his horse, arrived at the gates of the Castle. He had kept his head under the hood of his grey cloak. His hands were covered with black-lacquered gauntlets.

He had crossed and stood before the mighty gates. He looked up at the portculis window and opened his mouth, speaking the language of the humans. "I am Marcus DeSavage! The Lord is expecting my arrival."

The Gate opened, and DeSavage found himself approached by a strange looking humanoid. He wore armor like a knight, and was armed as such also. Yet fixed upon his head was no normal helmet.

When He spoke, his voice was something from the depths of a well. His movements were somewhat stifflike, but his eyes were unreal. For a moment he stood then, then he began to speak.

"I am Sir Steel, welcome to Castle De'Seas. If you will follow me, I will show you to the King."

Marcus nodded and followed Steel closely. His arms were at his sides. "So how do you fare, Sir Steel?"

The man approached a bit more, looking over the knight before him. "Haseo. I came here hearing that this was a place to meet challenges and get stronger. If I'm wrong, then I'll just leave. I have other things to do," he stated firmly as he set down his bag. Haseo's armor was relatively light. There was nothing extremely heavy on him. What threat he posed would be questionable.

Sir Tussaud looked the man over, and guaged him. He appeared a bit arrogant to him, but he was sure the Captain could fix that.

"The King is recruiting people for an upcomming war. If you think you are worthy to fight at his side, then follow me. Otherwise, the road does continue on."

Sir Tussaud paused as he awaited the young mans response.

((Avi is not of him))
Haseo picked up his bag and slung it over his right shoulder. "Heh, a war huh? Alright, you're on. I'll fight. The more I take on, the more people will recognize what I'm capable of." The young man began to make his way forward. He showed no nervousness nor fear. He was a bit too confident for his own good it seemed.

Vivi's eyes traveled up and down the Sir Steel. Such an interesting peice of... well, she couldn't quite identify exsactly what he was, but defently not Human, that was for sure.

She always liked things it took her awhile to figure out.

" That would be good," she replied, " he should be exspecting me."

Sir Steel escorted the woman to a large chamber. Within she saw other people there. All appearing to be competent, well equipped, and confident.

"If the Lady is alright, I must depart as there are other arrivals. The King will arrive momentarily."

With that Sir Steel left.

Vivi looked around and couldn't help but feel slightly intimidated. She never was in a room quite so big with so many people. Sometimes people gave her a little fright, although she'd never admit it.

She gave Sir Steel a small smile.

" I'll be good," she said and then watched as he departed. Then her eyes turned over to the many people. Her smile turned into a nervous one.

What could I possibly say? To these people, and the King. I wonder if he's mad at me for being so fashonably late?

*If I do anything wrong,let me know,ok?*
A young women walked through the dense fog that seemed to never lift. Her blue eyes scanned the area; this dark, gloomy feeling seemed to hang over her pale shoulders for some time now.
"Was this wise?"Her voice held slight fear, but the determined look on her face told otherwise.
She wasn't a coward nor a weakling..She just frightens easyer than others...a weakness or a blessing, she'll never really know.
"What..thats it."Her voice questioned what her eyes saw as she slowly came up to the gates of a huge castle.
Hearing voices, she dashed behind the tree"god, no people..please."To be honest, metting people was the last thing she had on her mind.
Her light aqua hair curled around her shoulder, she growls at it;having a mind of its own it floats down her back in respons.

::Benieth a dark hood two bright orbs slowly awakened. Scarlet lifted her hooded head from the horses maine. The gaint black horse made no noise on the dirt path but let out a grim huff from his nose as the magnificent castle came to veiw. Scarlet slid down off the beast and landed a bit unstable. Riding side-saddle for who knows how long had most likly brused right her side. She left the horse where he stood and would take the rest on foot. Her arms as well her body was hidden inside of her purple velvet cape that dragged against the stone bridge towards the entrence to the castle, it was held together by a single large black stone. A small black cat scampered out of the forest and began to walk aside her on the way to the front gates. Scarlet had taken a fancy to cat and they seemed to find her the same. The small cat looked up with a small mew then sat and watched Scarlet continue. Scarlet had recieved an invitation to come to the castle and stay. It stated it was from the King but Scarlet figured he issused his workers to wright invitations to people worthy of living there. The sky seemed grim as if there had just been a heavy rain. Rain did not bother her but she knew she wouldn't be caught in it today.::

"I am operating within normal parameters."

Sir Steel led the man into the majestic castle, and soon approached a room where others had been waiting. Vaired types of people could be seen, all seemingly powerful in stature and presence.

"You shall remain here for the moment as the King will be along to address all those that are assembled here. I must tend to the arrival of the other people."

Tussaud paused as he listened to the mans words. He was not certain how the young man would take his words.

"There have been those that have sought only to fight as a means for fame and fortune. A folly at best as it can lead to foolishness. It would do you best that once you are inducted into the Crimson Brigade that you follow closely the ideals of Captain Gwyndara."

Tussaud led the man into the Castle Proper. The Castle was magnificient. Never had a castle been seen of this stature. The castle seemed to resonate with purpose and power. Haseo's journey ended at the audience chamber, where like him others waited.

"You will remain her for the moment, as the King will be addressing everyone."

With that Tussaud left.

When He spoke, his voice was calm, and reserved. His mannerisms spoke of his training, and confidence. He quickly did a inspection of the woman, and nodded his head to her in respect.

"I am Sir Ulric Tussaud, Sargeant at Arms, and member of the Crimson Brigade. Welcome to Castle De'Seas. May I be so bold as to as you your buisness, My Lady."

Inside the Castle, Marcus kept to himself, but his eyes scanned about the crowd looking for weakness among the ranks. But the rank wasn't placement, it was a stench. Most of these troops did not bathe, and the stench was obvious. His spines made him stand out the most, but it had been years since he had cared. In fact, he had tried to scare everyone away, hoping to stand out amongst the group.

Lady Gwyndara looked out over the crowded room.
She knew most of these people by name, if not by reputation.
Commanding the respect of her fellow peers was always a challange, yet it was rewarding.
She took pride in her Crimson Brigade and was greatful to be thier captain.
They were all doing thier duties as befit them.
She was often a hard master, but always loyal to those who served under her.
So long as they kept to the code, things went smoothly, only once or twice did she ever have to intervine with her knights.

::Scarlet looked to the man, closed her eyes, and pulled off her hood. Her red eyes opened once again looking into his, taking him in. Red lips parted for moment in thought and she the let them out.::

A fine man I see that could be as bold.

::Scarlet hand then dissapeared under her cape and when it returned to this world it held a letter made of thick paper, the wax seal broken. She handed the letter from the King to the man know as Sir Ulric Tussaud.::

If you would Sir Tussaud.

Haseo looked around at all the people. He stretched his arms out a bit before moving towards the front of the room to get a better looker of everying. "A bit too fancy for my taste. Work is work though," he muttered to himself. He was never used to royal accomodations. He felt better out treking in more down to earth areas.

The girl gulped, the fear shining in her eyes."I......I was told that my presence was..needed.."
'toughen up you!' she thinks to herself, feeling like a fool as she speaks.
Though his voice seemed to clam her,she kept her distance.
"My name is Gimmick."This time, her voice was more louder;her shoulders squarded back.
