"Oh yeah, that made me feel a lot better about this whole turning into animals thing," he said sarcastically. "What about you? Aren't you kind of worried about it?"

Now, not matter of distracting female body parts and playful flirting could steer Oz away from his insecurities. He'd spent a good portion of this 'get-to-know-you' session trying to forget the Island, and what its accomodation entailed.

Aislinn stretched, leaning back against the headboard,
"Oh, of course," she smiled, "But really, I've been trying to keep myself calm about it. Nothing's going on so far, and I can sort of pretend nothing's going to. The alcohol helps with that a bit,"

She blushed a bit, looking towards the kitchen,
"Do you want another, by the way?"

"Nah, I should be cutting it out altogether. I'm such a jerk when I drink," he half-smiled. "But raincheck? I have a funny feeling I'm gonna need a drink at some point."

He tried to keep his frame of mind as it had been since he first found out - maybe it wasn't going to happen to him. There were no signs of fur or scales or whatever else the warped staff would turn people into. And it seemed true for Aislinn as well.

The woman nodded,
"Sounds good to me," she smiled, "You know where the place is, so anytime you feel like a drink...well, chances are I'll at least be in the mood for one or two."

She enjoyed a good drink, but it seemed she'd been having more alcohol since coming to the island than she had in quite some time previous-- couldn't drink on days when she had class, or had to work...so really, the opportunities had been limited then too,
"Personally, I have a tendency to molest people a bit when I'm drunk, from what I've heard. A friend once told me I spent the entire night trying to make out with her.."

Oz laughed.

"Hehe, I wouldn't mind being molested at all, so if you're drunk one day, you know where to find me," he teased and gave her a gentle nudge his his bulky shoulder.

The he got to his feet, partly because he felt restless and partly because he felt it was time to finally let Aislinn get changed.

"Well, I think I've troubled you enough for one day," he said with a smile, bowing in an over-dramatic, gentlemanly way. "Umm...thanks...for the drink and stuff."

He wondered if Aislinn knew how much better he felt just seeing another human on this Island.

Aislinn smiled. Though she enjoyed his company, she really was about ready to let him go. She needed to get out of the wet swimsuit, for one thing.

"Oh, of course. We'll have to have a proper night out sometime. Maybe after I get my karaoke machine. Still have to talk to the people in charge about that as well as hair dye and some other stuff.."

She was rambling,
"What's your Duplex number, if I want to find you again?"

"Karaoke machine? Don't let me anywhere near that," he joked. "Especially when I'm drunk. A dying cat sounds better than I do."

Truth be told, Oz did have a decent singing voice. Nothing that was sparkling, but he wasn't as tone-deaf as he made out to be. He walked towards the door, saving Aislinn the trouble of showing him out.

"Oh, I'm Duplex 74, just upstairs," he smiled pointing to the ceiling.

Two-storey accomodation was hard to get used to, but the stairs were doing his legs some good.

She grinned,
"Well, whenever I can bother to hobble up the stairs, I'll see if I can't see if you're about, then."

She hated the stairs, really. They were difficult to manage at best, and slow, and she tended to get on peoples' nerves,
"And don't worry, that just means you'll be the first person I hit up-- someone who sounds worse than I do, right?"

"Or, y'know, you could just shout up through the floor," he laughed.

He hovered in her doorway, just about blocking the draft thanks to his bulky form. He was almost reluctant to leave.

"Oh of course, my voice will make yours sound like an angel's," he smirked, stepping out of her doorway and into the light outside. "Its been a pleasure, Aislinn."

Oz bowed again and waved as he disappeared up the stairs, a cheeky smile on his face. He would most certainly have to spend more time with Aislinn.

At leats until his or her first change, at which point, Oz just wouldn't trust himself with his 'animal instincts.'
