Yes, of course! As long as they don't make Cloud emo ><; They need to keep the Don Corneo scene where Cloud dresses as a girl and all of the other funny scenes such as when you dress up as a soldier and march in the parade. Let's hope that they make it so it's worthy of being called, once again, one of the greatest games ever made. It'd be neat if it won Game of the Year 8D

if they do remake it, i demand fixed typos. uncensorship...even tho that was pretty funny, hyper quality graphix. bonus disks featuring original FFVII American and Japanese so we can have all in one. that would RULE!! no changes to the game otherwise

I think they should, but Square apparently said that as long as current gen consoles could still play FFVII (and PS3 can play PS1 games), they wouldn't be remaking it.
But Square (well, maybe mostly Nomura) has been known to LIE so who knows?

I say it'd be neat if they do re-make it'd look cool. But it wouldn't be the end of the world if they didn't do it. I'll do my happy dance later if they do re-make though, because the new graphics would KICK serious @$$.

the original is the best!!! remaking it might take the fun out of the game, the only reason why people hate the graphics is because they're used to how realistic games are now. remember, FFVII had awesome graphics AT THE TIME IT WAS RELEASED. i really don't like it when people dis the game because of the graphics, it's cute, plus the FMV cut scenes were pretty good back then.

If you played the original, then you played the remake. Personalities, etc will be the same. Just will be a few changes to the mini games and side quests to keep players interested.

SefieGainsborough I'm all for it. There are alot of people that hesitate to play it because of the lego like characters, or mock it, and they miss out on an AWESOME plot, AWESOME characters, and AWESOME music! Plus, I'd just like to see the story in purdy graphix xd Just so long as they leave the story line untouched!! (They could fix the typos though!) I agree, and I'd totally play it... if I had a PS3. There's no way I'd buy one though. XP.

Yes. Without a doubt.
I've always loved the original though, but I certainly wouldn't mind a new version with crisp graphics. Mostly to please my friends who won't play it because it's too old. mad

Useless Bob I say that the part that really deserves a remake is the music. That game had some of the best music I ever heard, but the old midi files greatly reduced the quality. Imagine hearing songs like One WInged Angel or Still More Fighting in their full glory. word. final fantasy 7 with actual orchestral background music would rock the house. and it would be nice to see the graphics lifted as well. i'd buy a ps3 for ff7 remade in a second.

I actually have an article about that even illustrations but when I actually read the article it said that the illustrations were the producers just fooling around and they haven't really confirmed if they're gonna do it but they said they probably wont...
