"You like the thought of being shoved into a locker?" Kankuro stood and growled, a bit ill-tempered that day. Really, the locker thing had been a bluff, but if he was grouchy enough... he could think of a few ways that he could do it.
"You guys need to stop goofing off!" Haku said, quite used to the bickering between Kankuro and Kiba. It was just something that came along apart of their friendship. "And Kankuro... just because you're afraid of small children doesnt mean you need to take it out on him." A bit of a sadistic tone. Who said Naruto had made him a little too dark in his book?

Deidara smirked, digging his chopsticks into plain white rice. "Don't eat Inuzuka's dog food, Haku, un! You'll get sick!" Delicately placing a few grains in his mouth, the blonde added to Kankurou, "Oh yeah, I saw your little brother as I came in, un. He was making out with that Hyuuga kid." He grinned cheerily. "He's kinda hard to miss with that pretty red hair, un..."

((Go Haku!!!! Oh...sorry for my comments but Haku and Kiba are my favs ever and the only reason Kiba gets secind is because...well Haku rocks!))
"Welll, I'm not a mutt. If I were dog then I would be a purebreed through and through! A great dane or something!" Kiba pouted and sat down next to Kankuro. "You are abig meanie, Kan-ki...Kankuro." He turned to look at Deidara. "And you need to shut up too! Hana can cook and it's not dog food! I tried one eariler to make sure! Dog food tastes different! I know for sure!"

"A chihuahua." Kankuro muttered, before registering what Deidara had said. "HE's MAKING OUT WITH WHO?!" He practically shouted. Glaring at anyone who dared look in his way, his expression changed into that of annoyance. "GReat. Now i'll never get a date. I'll be marked as the brother of the psyco kid who makes out with random guys in the hallway..." He grumped.
Haku had already finished the cookie, and rather liked it. "How would you know what dog food tastes like?" He asked, after Kankuro's outbreak.

"When Hana and I were younger she wanted to make me some food, this was before she really knew how to cook, and I was like 5. BUt anyways. She put a whole bag of dogfood into our soup and...well I was the only one who eat it and got sick. All the dogs loved it, though. " Kiba shuddered. He had ignored the comment about being a chihuahua because of Haku's question but now he turned to glare at Kankuro.
"No! I'd be a strong dog! And who cares about who Gaara's making out with. Neji so had it coming. He really did. Almost all first class today when ever he looked at Gaara he would blush. SO it's not that random."

Deidara smirked at Haku's comment. "My question exactly, un!" he said, before turning his attention back to Kankurou. "Heh, I would have interrupted, un. Can't stand to see such a cute kid going to waste on Hyuuga, un. But if I'm pretty sure Neji would rip out my spine and beat me with it if I went within three feet of Gaara-chan, un..." He sighed, poking at his lunch with the tip of his chopsticks. "Besides, Kanky, aren't you gay, un?"

Haku couldnt help it. He giggled at Kiba's tale. "At least the dogs liked it..." He said in between giggling.
"A pittbull mixed with a Chihuahua?" Kankuro muttered, trying to think up as much odd dog breeds as he could. "The problem is, is that now, I get to deal with it. Being a big brother sucks." He grumped, now just twirling his fork around in his spaghetti. He had no comment for the gay bit. "Dont call me Kanky..." He muttered.

"Probably, Deidara." Gaara said, surprising all of the table. When had he come? "Oh, and Kankuro? Neji is not just a random guy." He was a bit annoyed by his brother's comment. "And besides, I'm not psyco." And then he thought about it a bit more and added, "Much."
The redhead pulled up a chair and sat down beside his brother, saying breezily, "Oh, and Naruto's going to be showing up a bit later, along with Sasuke and Neji. I think they're both trying to get him over his, err, shock, at seeing Neji and I..." His slight blush said all that was needed. ]

Kankuro visibly paled, and then turned slightly pink. So it was true. "Much, indeed. So he's a strange, random guy?" He decided to tempt fate. Nevermind that he never really talked much about his sexuality. That was a bit awkward, and annoying for him.

"He's not denying it, un!!" Deidara sang teasingly, then jumped up and fell out of his seat at Gaara's sudden arrival. "s**t!! Crap, Gaara-chan, you're too quiet, un..." Frowning, he rightened his chair and sat back down. "Gah, don't remind me of Hyuuga, un....not fair, lucky b*****d..."

Gaara glared at his brother. "I like Neji even more than ice cream." The table fell silent, digesting this (somewhat unexpected, cause Gaara probably loved ice cream more than life itself) comparison and Gaara just managed to hear the last bit of Deidara's mutterings. He smirked.
"Dei-chan, don't be jealous. You've got Sasori-danna, don't ya?"

That was about it for Kankuro. He opted to say no more as he picked up his apple and bit into it, resisting the temptation to chuck it at someone, or something. "So what if I like guys...?" He said quietly to himself, still trying to register what he had just heard, not too long ago. "Dangit, Gaara! Didnt I tell you NOT to copy me?!" He muttered, taking another furious bite out of the poor fruit.

Deidara scoffed, stabbing a rice ball. "Depends on what you mean by that, un. I've 'got' Sasori-danna meaning that he's my best friend and nothing else as far as I know, un..." He lapsed from his depression for a second to giggle at Kanurou, before slumping down in his chair again.

"But nii-san, it's so hard not to!" Yes, Gaara was going for the 'I'm so innocent, why are you shouting at me' look, and it was working. But maybe Kankuro had grown used to his wide green eyes and cute little pout.
Then he switched back to his normal expression, after leaving Kankuro (hopefully) momentarily dazed, taking the chopsticks from Deidara's tight grip and chewing on the rice ball stabbed at the end. He was hungry...
"Meh, you and I both know, Dei-chan, that Sasori-danna blushes whenever you come near. Don't try to make me feel guilty for picking Neji (hearts in Gaara's eyes as he mentions that name), it's not working..."

Kiba just watched this all go on. He took out his riceball lunch and started eating it. He glanced around for Nina but still didn't see any sign of her. Suddenly he saw the red haired girl about to pounce on Haku. When she did it was all he do to stop himself from laughing with his food in hs mouth.
"Hi, Haku-kun!" She smiled as she hugged him.
