Suzume had spent her time waiting, and now, finally, she saw her oppertunity. She ran forward as the dark pony was busy trying to shake off the ember, planning to knock him in the stomach, knock the wind out of him.

The pony was knocked back by the momentum of the attack, but he was definitely not out. Physical attacks didn't do very much damage to him.
As the haze lifted, Raye was beginning to make out more solid shapes and colors. She focused on the kidnapper. The black pony had dark eyes and...did she see a flash of gold on his side? No, it couldn't be...
((Note: I will be going to a movie with my parents at 11:30, so I won't be back until around 2-ish.))

Suzume muttered some very unlady like words as she was thrown back by the opposite momentum of the collision.
With both the girls down, DJ took the point, still sparking small bursts of flame and smoke at the dark pony.

Miyu gasped and ran to her fallen friend's side. "Suzume! Are you okay?"
The pony swore under his breath as he met another shower of flames and sparks. This group was becoming more trouble than they were worth.
Raye squinted, trying to make out what his marking was while he moved about, trying to dodge the flames. She saw a crown. ...Akuji?
He suddenly stood still, shocked not by the voice that popped into his head, but by what the voice had said. How do you know my name? he demanded through the psychic connection.

"I'll live," Suzume hissed climbing back to her feet. "He's stopped," she noted wondering why.

Okay, so this is Akuji. Isn't this just great... Raye frowned, wondering why on earth Neko would take in a pony like him. Look, if you're Akuji, then you're a part of my herd. Unfortunate as it may be...
Akuji also frowned. A herd? If what this pony said was true, then he had just attacked someone from this herd of hers -- his herd. He suddenly felt foolish. Oh really? And you would still want me even after what I've done?
Right now? Not really, Raye answered truthfully with a tone of distaste. He had attacked, injured, and threatened Miyu and their friends. She wasn't going to forgive him so easily.

"I'm not entirely sure," Miyu replied, turning to Raye in confusion. "Raye?"
Raye broke out of her trancelike state and looked at the others. "Apparently this is Akuji, the newest member of our herd..."
"What?! You've got to be joking!"
"I wish I was," Raye said, eyeing Akuji with a fierce gaze.

Suzume looked over to where Kana was helping Ziyala up. She gave her a questioning look, wondering what to do.
Ziyala shrugged and shook her head. Since when was it her job to come up with the plan? All she knew was that her head was still spinning, and she very much so wanted to like this Akuji on fire...

"But if he's the new member of our herd, then why'd he attack us?" Miyu asked, not liking this one bit.
"I don't know, but I'm going to have a talk with someone when we get home..." Raye continued glaring at the black pony. She was definitely going to give their owner a piece of her mind.

"I say we leave him," Raye said, turning to leave. "Member of our herd or not, I don't want him with us."
I must ask for forgiveness, Akuji protested, trying to keep his tone steady. Frankly, he was ashamed, and he didn't like feeling that way. I did not know we were of the same herd...
Raye stopped and glared sharply at him. You say that as if that excuses what you did! Kidnapping and attacking is wrong, whether you know the pony or not! She turned her back on him again. "Come on, Miyu. We're going home."
Miyu nodded and hastily followed her, desperately wanting to leave this place.

"You guys ok?" DJ asked running over to join the other members of his own herd.
"Fine," Ziyala gritted out, although she could already feel the bruising. "Let's just get out of here.
"I'll second that," Suzume said letting Ziyala and Kana go infront of her, allow herself to fall instep with DJ.

Raye made her way over to the other ponies, glancing back to make sure Akuji wasn't following them before giving them an apologetic look. "Look, I'm really sorry about dragging you all into this..."
