Sin raised an eyebrow, noticing Chao for the first time. "Hey Chao? How goes life?" She asked, taking another cookie and looking at Jizzy.

Chao shrugs, leaning on her hands and yawning quietly, chocolate has always the odd effect of making her tired, "life is going alright, how's yours doing?"

"Tsk Tsk Tsk. A magician never reveals her secrets and neither does a cook."
Jizzy said to Sin, waving her finger teasingly and taking another cookie for herself. All the extra chocolate chips she ahd put in were easily seen and made the cookie even better. Chocolate makes everything better.

(eh, heh, back on tomorrow guys... so dead tired)
Sin slumped into a chair, "I'm so tired. Moving is hard work. Who knew it would take this long to get all my stuff settled in?"

Abbey nodded at the new people in greeting, content to chewing quietly on cookies. The back of her mind filed away Wyvern's name for later use, as she hadn't quite caught it at the docks. She smiled at Sin as she finished another cookie, "Yes, moving was quite tedious. Truthfully though, I thought it'd be a lot harder." She paused, then added thoughtfully, "Mind, I didn't have that much to actually move."

"Most of the stuff in my boxes were my furniture. I go everywhere wih my cushions and hammock. Oh and my hula girls. I never leave my hula girls... Besides, it's not like I have much to go back for if I left here. I didn't sell the apartment, just for a precation though."
Jizzy said, the subject of her home falling heavy on her somehow. Her cheerful demeaner wavered and for just a brief moment a frown creased her face, but the smile soon foun its way back as if nothing had occured.
"But no use dwilling on the past."
She spoke, taking a cookie and lifting it up in a toast.
"To New Begginings."

"I didn't have too much to move, though there was more than I originally packed due to meddling relatives," Chao quietly muttered the last part, speaking more to herself than the others as her emotions floundered somewhere between greatful and frustrated with her family. After a moment she simply shrugged and lent back in her chair, nodding as Jizzy spoke of brushing off thoughts of the past.
Leaning forward again she took up another of the remaining cookies and raised it in a toast as well, "to New Beginnings."

Abbey finished off the last of her cookie, and snagged a new one. She raised it wordlessly with a nod and a bemused smile in reply to the toast. Mind, if she had tried talking, she'd have sprayed them all with crumbs. It would do; the girl didn't really have any desire to shake off her past. She'd be keeping her memories close to heart.

Abbey was just finishing another cookie, when her eyes flicked up to the clock. The girl almost choked, and she quickly chewed through the cookie and swallowed, waving a hand in much of a flailing motion. "I'msorryIhavetogothankyouverymuchforthemealandfeelfreetodropinwheneveryoulike," spilled haphazardly out of her mouth, and she scuttled out of the kitchen without so much as waiting for a reply. Looks like she had to get somewhere in a hurry.

Chao blinked at Abbey's hurried departure and looked to the clock. Grimancing at how long she'd been gone she smiled to the others and pushed away from the table quietly.
"I think I'll head home as well, thanks again for the cookies Jizzy, they were great," with a wave she headed out of the room and then towards the exit of the lodge, vaguely hoping Loki hadn't broken something out of boredom while she'd been gone.

Jizzy waved goodbye to her two new friends. She did hope they had really liked the cookies. Jizzy loooked down at the tray and smiled, only a few cookies left.. That means they liked it.. Jizzy stood up and began to rummage around for a container of some sorts.. She found a plastic bag, much resembling a Ziploc, and placed the remaining cookies inside.
"Well, I guess I'll make my departure as well.."
Jizzy said, to noone in particular and departed, taking the cookies with her.

---A week or so after the cookies--
Jizzy rushed hurriedly into the lodge her bag clinking softly as the jar rattled in her bag. She dropped it as gently as possible, being in an apparent hurry and opened it up and began rummaging.
"COme one come on.. It has to be here.."
She murmured to herself, searching frantically in her bag.

Unnoticed Chao slept on, head resting against her arms, bag resting slightly against her head, a slight low eminating from withing it. A book was sitting in front of her on the kitchen table. It looked as if she'd fallen asleep where she was either earlier that day or the previous night.

"AHA!"
Jizzy excalimed loudly, pushing up the shades that had fallen to the brim of her nose in the hurry. SHe pulled out her red notebook and hugged it for a moment.
"Now lets get started on writing the menu.."
She said and took a seat the kitchen table, now finally noticing the sleeping Chao. SHe began to fly through the pages, searching for thr right recipies.

At the loud exclaimation Chao started violetly into the waking world, nearly knowing her satchel off the table in the process before she steadied it.
"Gweh?" she muttered looking around with sleepy eyes, clinging slightly to her satchel, "where'd the axe murder snowman go?"
