She giggled again. "So sorry; did I frighten you?" She also addressed the Gorilla man, who had revealed his face... Maybe he WAS the gorilla man...

She sheathed her knife. It had done its job.
"I think we've far more to worry about than each other right now," she said. Though, she certainly did not sound worried. The sounds were like soothing music to her.

"Wha?" the flea responded to the young-sounding voice that hopefully accompanied the hand that was given to him, obviously disorientated.

"Urh, 'kay." he grunted as he was pulled along, squinting into the darkness in front

Gallen almost tripped over the people in front, when he saw Richard head back. "hey old tymer!!" His voice was a little shaky

Alec nodded slowly to Sid, not wanting to stare back too long in case he'd accidently run into someone infront with the wheelchair. "Ye... wha th'fook's goin on, mahn?" The teen turned back around in time to notice Billy's question and he patted the octopuss on the shoulder for encouragement. "Neh neh mate, s'alrigh'"

... Was it?

The noises persist for the next several hundred feet, but before they cease, those near the front (Kikue, Pyroth and Alec) as well as any islanders with heightened hearing hear a small "twang" noise.

Then, everyone hears a chorus of squeaking joining the whispery noises, and then a swarm of rats tear through the jungle, headed in the general direction of the group, threading their way through the group and darting between feet.

((Everyone who posts can make a d10 roll. On a 1, 2 or 3 the starving rats decide to attempt to chew on either you or part of your costume.))

Angelina pushed her way up closer to the front, trying to get closer to Billy. He looked a bit out of it and, assuming this thing was overtime anytime soon, wanted to talk to him. He was one of the few people she really even recognized anymore.

The flood of rats made her jump, choking back a surprised squeal as one of them ran over her feet by clamping her hands over her mouth.

He heard the rustling first, then the torrent of squeaks and chatters. Before he knew it, the ground was moving all at once in a wave of little bodies all scurrying towards the pack. The youngster saw them diverge around the bodies of the Islanders infront before they got to him. Some of them nudged the wheelchair, jostling the spokes as they dove through them and rubbed against his pant legs once they'd passed. "UGH, dea' GOD!" He grimaced and commenced kicking off the disgusting little bodies of the rats that he saw clinging to the wheelchair, who no doubt were menacing Billy as well.

Miller frowned at the chittering sound ahead tightening his grip on both F and the bottle out of fear. "This dosn't sound good... what happened to that Tommy guy?"

"Oh, good," Sid said, his voice a little distant. He wasn't aware of the rats until they washed over his feet. He really should have sprung for actual shoes instead of his usual sandals. Lucky for him they didn't find his toes appetizing. He wasn't so high that he couldn't panic. He lifted one foot, then another, and nearly fell over before he remembered he'd have to put both feet down before he could try and swipe at them with the cane.

As nice as it was for Alec to try and reassure him, he had to be imagining it all. Maybe this was some unspoken side effect of his particular cocktail, or that long overdue acid flashback he'd blamed his first encounters on the island for.

Billy gave a strangled cry of alarm as the rats poured over his tentacles, but he managed to push them off, coiling his limbs up on the seat away from them, "Ah... ah..." He squeeked, limbs flailing as he threw the bottle frantically in teh direction of the little beasts, a free tentacle lashing out to grab a hold of anyone he could, "Rats! Bloody.. BLOODY feckin'-!!" He shreiked befor his collar flickered and buzzed, and he didn't care about the rats quite so much.

Zach wouldn't have noticed the rats if not for the flurry of rustles that happened by his bare feet. He picked up a foot, wondering what could possibly be down there scampering around, when he felt tiny teeth latching into his tail and toes. Confused and frightened, he let out a roar of confusion, swinging his tail to rid himself of whatever was after him and kicking off the offending creatures. His cape seemed weighted down as well. He stumbled in circles until all the rats had come off.

The experience combined with the drunkenness was making the entire thing seem much worse than it really was. He paused to gather his limited wits about him. Something was off about this walk.

Only moments after Miller had questioned F the chittering became all to clear as rats running past, "WHAT THE HELL!?" he took a few kicks at the ground sending the few near him running before following close to F still holding on to his hand.

((I'm gona need F to lead MIller while I go eat bbs D: ))

Marshall looked at Ginverva with a forced smile. Even if she was kind of creepy, she was still one of them, right? "Well, y'know...I don't think they ever caught that Wolf girl, so y'know..." Marshall didn't finish his thought, as he heard a strange, alien "squeak" sound.

...Rats.

They were crawling all of his feet, and Marshall...Well, dignity went flying out the window. He paniced and started swinging at them with his cane, almost like a twisted version of Golf.
