Akui's gave an excited, playful growl as he bolted off after her, his spirits listed higher than they had been a long, long time.

Ansata Myst Kamiki Akui comes bounding into the meadow- spirits high. He playfully chases a few crows pecking on the ground, sending them in a flurry up into the trees with some disgruntled cawing. Shaking the early evening dew out of his, and loving the cool, crisp chill in the air, Akui puts his nose to the wind, looking for other potential playmates.
Kamiki Akui's tail wags lazily as he sees the pretty little pup emerge. He goes into the play position, head down, rump up, and ears pricked high. Ansata Myst The pup seeing that this wolf was no threat, but a playmate. She crouched as her tail played high into the air. Then she leaped forward to playfully try and tackle him even though she was no match. Then she dashed off her orbs glinting with playfulness.
Ansata Myst Kamiki Akui gave a lolling laught and pounced after her. He was itching to meet new wolves, and play. He easily caught up and ludged her over his muzzle, being very careful not to use his teeth on the young one.
During the chase, his nostrils caught the appetizing taste of freshly killed fish on the wind.
The pup rushed as fast as her small legs would carried her, but the wolf caught her anyway. She squirmed and yipped before pausing to smell the scent of the fish. Then while she noticed the wolf was distracted she reached to try and gently chew on the wolf's ear.Ansata Myst Kamiki ((Anstata - you have one of the prettiest wolves in existence if you ask me heart ))Akui chuckled as the little girl nipped at his ear. "Easy there," he said, gently using his paw to guide her off. "My name is Akui. Whats yours?" (( thankies )) She crouched again this time she stayed still for a bit longer once he guided her a bit away. "I'm Monenoke..." She said in her small pup tones. Her tassel wagged to and fro behind her and was about ready to bolt off again.
(( you gotta love the hyperactiveness lol )) Ansata Myst Kamiki "Nice to meet you." Akui raised his nose to the air. "Are your parents around? I'm looking to meet more of the wolves around this area. I've been keeping to myself and I haven't met many."
Ansata Myst Kamiki ((Kamiki want to be really really nice, but the pup is so freaking gorgeous she's going to keep her spot >< ))Akui gave her a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry to hear that. But don't you worry, there are plenty of wolves here that will make sure you're taken plenty care of." He gave a resolved nod. "Say, are you hungry? Maybe we can catch something to eat. Fish smelled good. " (( *nods* I'm keeping my ticket )) She nodded like a little kid might then looked around. Then her orbs dropped to look at the ground. Her tougue rolled from her mouth and licked the edges of her mouth as she dipped her head in agreement. "Yes...yes I am!" She said, excitement tinting her small voice. Ansata Myst Kamiki "Do you know how to hunt? Or fish? I'm rather good if I do say so myself. My mother was one of the strongest wolves in my old pack, and she taught me well!" Akui was barely older than a pup himself, but was already in love with the idea of spreading his (self claimed) extensive knowlegde to a pup less fortunate than himself. He started off towards the river, looking behind him to make sure the pup was following.
Ansata Myst Kamiki ((*takes a deep breath* Wow, you really had me on the edge of my seat there! *goes back to RPing*)) "No worries, pup! I'll teach you to be an expert fisher!!"
Akui got the beach, letting the scent of the river fill his nostrils. He climbed up the bank overlooking a bend where the water was fairly deep, but claer due to its movement. He motioned for Monenoke to follow.
Crouching down, he said "Now, you get ready to pounce, like this. Fish usually swin in groups over fast water like this. So, you don't take your eyes off the water. And when you see on, you pouch at it, much like you would anything else. Straight into the water, so you have to take that into account. And if you get something, bite down HARD and dun let go! They are slippery!"
Ansata Myst Kamiki ((I'm back! But I have to go for good ;_ wink )
Akui laughed at the pup and hunkered down. "Maybe I can help.."
After a few moments, Akui left straight into the water in a moments time, making a huge splash. He snapped a few times before feeling his teeth sink onto something slippery. The muscular fish thrashed abuot, jerking Akui's head around a bit, making him look rather silly. THe fish was a bit larger than he expected, and while his exit of the water wasn't a graceful one, he did indeed bring up a sizable fish, which he happily shared with his new friend..

Kamiki Akui was in an exceptionally playful mood this day, which for Akui was saying something. He had woken up feeling...alive. Perhaps it was the weather, perhaps it was his run-in with Nyx the evening before, but for some reason everything felt really good to him today. He bounded around, chasing crows and foxes. He put his nose to the air and smelled a group of wolves he didn't know nearby. Feeling social, he bounding quickly that way.
He gave a playful, welcoming yip as the wolves came in sight - a purple one, a black one, a black and orange one, and a pup - but as he got close, the tension became obvious. He stopped dead in his tracks and lowers his ears alittle sheepishly. JadeEye ((Oy so much confusion...)) Notoka watched Haku go and was proud of himself for holding his ground yet not resorting to violence. He let his gaze fall on the pup, who was pretty much the reason for this fight, but gave him a kind smile. It's just something you can't understand right now. But yes, adults can act like idiots given the opportunity.He sighed then and nuzzled Silva's chin before looking around to see who had been witness to the mild standoff...and there he saw another male. One he'd never seen before. This one, however, didn't seem to be at all pompous...rather...he seemed to be submissive in a sense. Notoka barked to him in greeting, feeling himself relax. Kamiki Akui stayed still and watched the orange and black wolve leave. He was at a bit of a loss as to what to do, until he heard the purple one address him.
Relaxing himself, he padded over a few more steps. "Hello there! I'm Akui. I don't believe we've met?" Sayuri Silva snorted as Haku went off; not only was he a bully but he was foolish too. She had a mind to follow him and confront him further - but that would mean she would eventually have to confront Lera and she still thought of her as a friend.
Idiot, she snapped after him, then licked Notoka. JadeEye Notoka nodded to the black male he'd never seen before, his tail wagging slightly. No, I can't believe I can say we have met. I'm Notoka, said the alpha as he stood, careful of the pup at his feet, and turned so he was fully facing the stranger. You are new here? Or have you just been very reclusive?Kamiki Akui's eyes widened a look of surprise. "Nokota!?" Akui tried to stave off the awkward nervous feeling. He had heard a lot about Nokota from Nyx, and not all of it very pleasant. But he certainly seemed nice enough.... "Nice to meet you!" he covered. "I've been here for several months now, slowly trying to get to know everyone around." JadeEye You sound as though you've heard of me, the male mused, flicking his ears in amusement. Wouldn't surprise me...I've been around here forever, it seems like. He chuckled then and gave the large male a look over whilst Akui was explaining the lack of his presence. Ah, that makes senses. Surely no wolf can know everyone in the forest anyway. New faces keep popping up every sundown. Sayuri Silva sat, her tail curled around herself and listened as Notoka spoke to the newcomer.(( short post - whee >< )) Kamiki "Yes, I've heard of you. And I've met your brother, when I was brand new to these parts."
He looked over to the lovely female beside him and gave a friendly expression. "Your mate?" Why was it that Akui had seemed so preoccupied with that concept recently? JadeEye Notoka had to try very hard not to hide the flinch at the mention of his brother, whom of which he was still having trouble believing was actually alive. Sure, the brown wolf seemed to be Neka...but...there were differences that he couldn't understand and was sure the injuries that Neka had sustained so long ago couldn't possibly have allowed him to live. At the mention of his mate, he smiled. Yes, this is my mate Silvamord... he said fondly, nipping her ear to coax her to talk a bit if she wanted. Sayuri Silva jumped a little, lost in thought as she was;
Oh - greetings, she nodded at the male.
And your name is? she wasnt sure if he had mentioned it whilst her mind had been amongst the clouds. Kamiki "She's very lovely," he said charmingly, but not encroachingly.
Relaxed a bit more, Akui sat down and looked at Silva. "Nice to meet you, too, m'lady," he said. "My name is Akui." JadeEye ((Please name them in the guild, Chikagi. :3 Keeps things together, ya know?)) Notoka laughed at his mate's trip back into the present world and shook his head slightly. He says his name is Akui, he answered for the new wolf, flashing Akui a sly grin. Kamiki Akui smiled back, but then he felt his stomach rumble as he remembered how long its been since he ate.
"It was very nice to meet you both," Akui said, standing. "But you'll have to excuse me. I think there are some fish in the river that I have business with."

Sabin Duvert *It's early morning and Nyx yawns and stretches, slowly sliding out of her burrow that she's expanded on over the last couple of weeks. She didn't really know why other than the fact that it felt right. It had always been big enough for her... just barely... but it just started feeling so clausterphobic. She slid out and into the patchy light that shifted through the trees, yawning and blinking, her nose to the air. She felt restless. Too restless. Like she wanted something but didn't know what. Like she was hungry, but she had just fed well the night before on a young fawn. *she sniffed at the wind again. The woods were stirring, the sound of moving game drifted to her, but it did not catch her attention.....* Kamiki Akui was bounding through the woods at lightning pace. Chasing full-throttle a swift little silver fox that was just several paces quicker than the spry young wolf.
Turning a few sharp turns, jumping over a large tree root, and through some dense underbrush, the little fox almost ran straight into another wolf, this one black and red. Caught off gaurd for half a minute, he darted quickly in the other direction.
Before Nyx hardly had a moment to react, Akui came crashing through the underbrush, his attention immediately gone from the fox he was playing with. Sabin Duvert *Nyx looked startled as she was nearly bowled over by a smaller canine with silvery fur. Before her hackled had even fully risen along with a defiant snarl, another wolf came bounding right after it... another adult... a male adult.. a large... male... strikingly handsome adult. Something seemed right about this, very right. That anxious, restless feeling seemed only to increase when he was about. IT was only a good minute later that she recognized the black fur, the exotic blue around his eyes.... and his scent, and she did a doubletake as she recognized the wolf who had hardly been more than a cub when she saw him last. Was she really getting that old..? Akui?? Is... that you?Kamiki Akui's eyes brightened at he realized it was Nyx he almost ran into...literally.
"NYX!" he yelped excitedly, his tail swinging back and forth quickly. "Wow, you look great! You smell great!" IS that?> "What's up? Wanna chase with me?"
Akui had been non-stop the past few weeks. He seemed very full of energy, especially around females, but he couldn't really express why. Sabin Duvert *Nyx's ears perked, and she smiled a tongue lolling grin. She felt like she had plenty of energy, and romping with this other young adult sounded wonderful* You look wonderful as well, Akui! You've grown! And ... very nicely I might say *she growled playfully and lowered her torso to the ground - her back legs straight and her tail waiving, her ears lowered playfull to the side, then, with a quick bark she sprang up and leapt for Akui, hoping to catch him off-guard* Kamiki From off in the distance, a silver fox sat hunched on a low tree branch, his tail twitching. He had been having so much run dragging that pesky wolf around. Giving an annoyed puff, he started off, looking for some mice to eat.
Meanwhile, Akui's ego inflated a bit as the pretty shewolf complimented him. "Aw, you think so? I feel great, ya know? Strong! I've got my hunting skills honed perfectly I think, I mean, just alone I can catc-"
It was this time Nyx leaped for him. Caught off gaurd he was,and he went rolling to the ground, his mind clouded with the sight of dark fur and the overpowering scent of Nyx.
Normally he would have thought it kind of embarassing to be tackled to the ground while smack dab in the middle of bragging about his hunting skills, but this time, he didn't mind at all.
Sabin Duvert *Nyx grinned down at him, her tail wagging slowly back and forth as she held him pinned, staring into his eyes, and smelling his musky fur. * Perfect, eh? It is hard to say that -anything- is perfect, you know? *she lowered herself closer to him, smelling him again, taking in his scent* But I do think you're strong... *her tail wagged again and she suddenly thought, for some reason, that she liked this better than a game of chase.... Kamiki Akui didn't feel much like running anymore. Quite the opposite. Suddenly, he wanted to get someone smaller. Closer, so Nyx wouldn't pull away.
His tail also slowed to a slow wave, lazy, content. Without even thinking, he lifted his head up, nuzzling his muzzled against hers and the side of her face, his cold nose tickling at her ear. Sabin Duvert *Nyx murfled as her ear was nuzzled and she settled down to resting on top of him, not concerned that he would pull away. Soon, she returned the favor, her sniffing at his scent turning to nuzzling, and soon she was licking around his face, at his ears* Kamiki Akui didn't fully understand what he was feeling.
He knew this:
He didn't want to move.
The feel of Nyx's fur was the single most wonderful thing he'd ever felt in his entire life.
And if anyone or anything even came so much as touching a single strand of fur on her body right now he could easily rip their throat out without a second thought in his head.
Akui began to lick back at her his eyes soft. He shifted his weight, rolling them over so he wasn't in the prone position. Something was driving him..urging him on into a dark tunnel. He didn't know exactly what he was doing, but he someone knew what he wanted to do and he knew it was right. Sabin Duvert Nyx had never felt like this before. But all those restless feelings, all of those lonely months... this seemed to answer them, to make them right. Nyx couldn't be happier that Akui had come back - the famliiar face, the wonderful scent. And she wanted him to be with her - not to leave her alone again, not to lose track of him. She missed having other wolves around, she wanted companionship, a pack.... but maybe, she could start with him. The specific thoughts melted from her head as he rolled her over. She cozied up to him, rubbing against him, her tail waving high in the air, happily. Her mind was rolling with the feeling and with the scents in the air. She felt as if nature itself was guiding her in a direction. And without a second thought, she let it happen. =Fin=

Kamiki ((Yeah, I saw her grow up yesterday, she's beautiful. heart
The problem is, I really wanted to get at least a few wolves soon to help with the puppies to decrease the mortality rate. crying But thanks anyway, I don't suppose she could change her mind, eh?
And sure, I'm up for some RP :3 ))Akui was moving slower today than usual. Not bounding through the meadows chasing crows or foxes. He seemed more a mature, more content. He strode confidently along the tall grass by the river, a lolling smile on his face as he scoped out possible fishing spots. He wanted to bring a big meal back to Nyx Ansata Myst (( hmmm, I could always ask that she never joined? ....maybe.... ))
Monenoke walked around her nose breathed in a scent that was familiar to her. She remembered exactly who it was, her walk transformed into a faster gait to reach a river. Her amber orbs scanned to see Akui a smile rolled onto her lips as she approached her friend. She paused before giving a friendly whoof.
Kamiki ((Hmmm.. I don't think a "do-ever" would really fly. Its completely up to you and what you think Mono would do in character :3 If Akui missed his chance, ya know, thats the way the cookie crumbles I suppose))Akui's ears twitched around as he heard someone approach. Instinctively he raised the fur on his hackles and let a low rumble in his throat escape before he saw the beautiful lavander she-wolf come into his sight.
Though she had grown, Akui recognized her instantly. "Mononoke!" he exclaimed, his expression softening. He went over to her, tail wagging. "You look great! How are you doing! My, you're growing up so lovely!" Ansata Myst
Monenoke smiled when he saw her. She approached meeting him half way with her own tail wagging. "It's been awhile." She said softly but still held excitment in it. "I'm doing fine, how is everything going for you?" She said, trying to match the same excitement, but something did trouble her. How could she tell him that she joined a pack, which was deciding to move.
(( I hate self-conflict in a character x.x oh well. Monenoke/I are going to have to decide. )) Kamiki "Everything's going wonderfully!" he said, unable to keep the excitement out of his voice. "I have a mate now, heh... " his tail wagged dispite himself at the thought of Nyx.
"Ya know, there was something I was going to ask you if I saw you. Well, you see... Nyx and I might be having puppies soon... and, well, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to... help out, or something. Ya know... like, a packmate..? " He was nervous but excited at the same time. Here is was - trying to start his own pack?
I mean, why not. He was talented, strong, and smart. Generally friendly, and while he has never had to get in a fight with another wolf, he was confident he could defend him and his friends. He just never had the reason to be pushy or mean or angry. But now.. now he had something worth protecting. Ansata Myst
"That's great..." She said, then hushed her voice as he continued speaking. The smile on her face somewhat faded, "Akui I would love to, but..." She said pausing letting her voice fade, wondering what to say. "I recently joined a pack." She spoke softly now waiting a few more minutes before speaking again. "I could leave..."
(( Eh, I'm sorry I think Monenoke will follow Akui. The only reason being is that he was one of the first wolves she met and her first and closest friend. I'm sorry Kouseki... )) Kamiki Akui's ears lowered in dissapointment. "You have? Well, I mean, congradulations! You're growing up so well, I guess it would have been pretty silly to think someone hadn't snatched you up yet." He gave a supportive smile.
"I couldn't ask you to do that..." he said, pawing a bit at the dirt. "I mean, if you came with me ... it would just me, you, and Nyx. Thats hardly a "real" pack yet anyways. You deserve to be well taken care of."
...."but IF you did decide to come with me, I would take care of you to the very best of my ability. I promise you." Ansata Myst
She looked at Akui, she couldn't do this to him. She didn't want to leave and possibly never see him again. She shook her head, "I can't do it... Akui... I can't stay in the pack and be happy knowing that I'll never see you again." She nodded her head on that comment. Akui was like a brother to her.
Kamiki Akui couldn't help but smile and let his tail wag alittle. He never felt so... proud in his life. So happy. Everything was finally coming together for him. "I couldn't imagine never seeing you again, either, Noke.
"Shouldn't you talk to them? They'll worry." Ansata Myst
She nodded, "Yes, I'll have to tell them sometime..." (is dreading that) She knew that they wouldn't be too happy about that especialy when she just joined.
Kamiki "Would you like me to come with you, Noke?" Ansata Myst
"No... no I'll do it, but thanks for the offer." She turned her body towards where the pack dwelled for the time being. "Can I meet you back here?" She said.
Kamiki Akui gave Noke a friendly nuzzle. "Of course. I'll come find you later. For now, I need to find something for Nyx to eat."

She nodded and turned away then padded off. [time laspe] Half an hour had passed as Noke returned her eyes tried to hold happiness, but she was still sorrowful for being called a 'traitor' and never being able to see her pup friends again. She looked for Akui, she stopped to take a small break sitting on her haunches and to nurse the wound that she received on her shoulder.
(puts a banaide on Monenoke....)

Akui's ears dropped as he saw the injured lady. Giving a sympathetic whimper, he approached her slowly, then nuzzled her, before licking the wound himself - his way of apologizing.
"When you're feeling up to it," he said quietly, "I'll show you to Nyx's den."

Her eyes lit up when she saw Akui, "It isn't your fault..." She said softly as he licked her wound. She nuzzled him once before pulling away. She nodded, "I'm really now if you want." She said, the wound wasn't a serious one.

Akui gave her a reassuring smile then headed back toward's Nyx's den, making sure his pace was even not to agrivate the wound on her shoulder.

*At the sound of rustling through the woods above, followed quickly after by the scent of Akui and another wolf, Nyx curiously pulled herself out of the den.
The entrance to the den behind her is modest, and looks to have at one point been an old badger burrow, but there is signs of a great deal of recent digging, expanding on the size, and hinting at a much larger space within. Around the entrance are some large rocks in this clearing in the woods not too far from a gently rolling hill.
Her ears perk as she sees Akui coming along with another smaller wolf*
Hello there, Akui *her demeanor is friendly, curious and more dulcet than last he saw her*

Monenoke smiled, and slowly followed him. She was grateful that the pace was slow. She watched as they followed a small trail to the den. After a few seconds she saw another wolf, whom she believed was Nyx. Monenoke waited for Akui to halt before she stopped and dipped her head in greeting.

Akui's pace picked up as he saw her, trotting over and licking her happily on the nuzzle before nuzzling her face a bit affectionately. He turned around and smiled at Noke, his tail wagging alittle.
"Nyx, this is Mononoke, an old friend. She's, well, she's going to be sticking around and helping, with, you know, whatever. She's.. she's our new packmate!" Akui couldn't help but puff his chest out a bit in pride.

*Nyx peered curiously towards 'Noke, her tail held high, but not in a threatening manner.
Nuzzling Akui back at his approach, she looked over his shoulder towards the smaller female, her eyes lighting up*
Packmate...? She wondered aloud happily Is this true... Monenoke? *her tail wagged happily and she strode past Akui to greet 'Noke personally, sniffing her over*
It has been lonely and I have been yearning to have a pack once again.... I have not since I was very small, you see. And.... *she glanced back towards Akui a bit hesitantly, unlike her typically more aggressive or forward mannerisms she is acting careful and deliberate, but gentle* I think that we could especially use the help.... soon..

Monenoke stood still, very still at first. She remembered when she joined the last pack. The leader wasn't all that bad, but the mistress... there was just something about her. Monenoke was relieved to see that Nyx approached nonthreateningly. She pushed those thoughts away to respond, "Yes it is..." She said happily. Monenoke sniffed Nyx a bit in return. Akui had told her about the pups on the way and Monenoke was every bit as excited as they were. Her tail wagged behind her to show her excitement and happiness.

*Nyx nodded in approval as she made her round about this new wolf sniffing investigatively* and how did you come to these woods, Monenoke? Were you born here? Do you have parents or littermates?
*Nyx walked with a precision in her steps, carefully. While not the largest adult wolf, she is slim and toned, muscles obvious underneath her dark fur*
