"If I gave a damn I'd ask."
He mumbled under his breath as he attached the second part of the strap to his rifle and went into the case, taking out a clip with one hand. Moving back to the rifle, he popped the clip and shook his head.
"Fine, you can tag along if you want. Maybe you'll find someone else to latch onto and bother."
He chuckled after saying that, turning back to the clothes rack.

Malik continued to sit in his chair with his legs up on the desk. The swirls from the cigar still slowly making their way up towards the ceiling. He rolled the Cigar around in his mouth, taking in the taste and aroma of it. These were a fine brand..Expensive, too. He'd rarely even taken these out of the package. They were hand rolled on the legs of the finest Cuban women. Or so they man who sold them to him told him. He pulled the cigar out and snubbed it out in the Ash-tray of his desk. He pulled out his Python and popped it open, dropping all the bullets out, then sliding an empty shell in. He'd come up with a little game to pass the time. He clicked te gun shut, then spun the chambers, pulling back on the hammer. He'd been able to time it so he could land the hammer in the chamber right before the shell. His record was 23. He did this for quite some time, before uttering the only thing he'd said the whole night. "...Wonder where the boss is."

She frowned. "I'm not a leech you know, I have feelings." She said Getting up from the couch, and walking oer to the door. "Where taking you vehicle, right? I'm afraid my would blow if I do anymore driving tonight." She said laughing lightly.
She walked back into the small, one bed room and picked up a duffle bag, she slung it on the bed and sipped it open, inside were a few extra T-shirts,shorts,pants,socks,more personal items and a old UBCS jacket, that had all of it's patches and any thing that mentioned the name.
Other than that, it was a plain green short sleeve jacket, she slipped it on and went back into the main room where Reeve was. "I just a had strange feeling, did you?"

"Could have fooled me."
He said, shuffling through the rack and taking out a nice vest. It was a black kevlar vest with numerious pockets. Pulling it on over his head he made sure it fit comfortably before doing up the straps on either side of him to keep it from flopping about.
"Guess we can take my car. as for a strange feeling... What do you mean, strange?"

Forest made it to Reeve's apartment and began banging on the door, hoping somebody would answer.
"Hey! Anybody! It's me, Forest! Open up!"

"Fooled you how?" She said stamping her foot lightly then smiling. She watched him as he pulled the vest over his head then looked down at her own and frowned.
"Ok, your car it is." She said about to open the door when she turned back around. "The same feeling I got before I landed in the Arklay mountains..Well we don't I have that feeling, don't worry about it."

Forest gave up on the door and headed for the bar, hoping he'd see somebody he knew there.

(( Fox, you wouldn't even know where Reeve is.. Not to mention he's still in the damn closet whcih has no windows and Carrie is in front of the door with n owindows nearby it. :X ))
Turning back to the shelves, Reeve picked up the Revolver and pulled the holster around his waist with the gun on his right side. Picking up the Rifle, he slung it over his shoulder and moved to the cabinent with the ammunition.
Opening up about two pockets, the larger ones, he took two clips from each one and slipped them in there for the rifle. From there, he took out twenty-four magnum rounds and slipped them into a few pockets. Taking out another three, he put them in three open holders on the front of the vest, near the top on the left side. (Like, just pieces of cloth wrapping around to make an open-hole... Think of something you can put a pencil through or something to hold it. :X *Bad an explaining*)
"I see. No, I don't. If I did I would bring my entire collection with me. I have a duffel bag in my room."

"That's alot, but i'm not complaining, I feel safer already." She said with a grin. "Could your entire collection fit in your car?" She said with a laugh She stood at the door until Reeve was ready to go. Even though she disagreed with gun ownage and such, she still wanted to be with someone who had them, and not to mention good with them. Like she said, it made her feel safer.
She missed going on mission and being part of that scene, but she the danger, and what happened at the Mansion changed her for good on her views of that scene.

Forest made sure his guns were all loaded, and began the long walk to the bar. When he got there, he noticed it was oddly empty.
((can we have zombies yet?))

"Of what's useable and not... With a good amount of stuffing, maybe. Of what works? Yeah. Of course. You want to bring anything to mess around with? I could see if I can find my other one in the closet.. Probably on one of the higher shelves."
He asked, heading over to the door and using his left hand to pull it open. Stepping out a few feet, he paused, probably would have smacked himself in the forhead if there wasn't someone nearby. Turning around, he went back into the house and over to the door to his bedroom. Entering inside, he came out a few moments later dangling some keys in his hand.
Heading back over to the doorway, he stepped out a little bit and waited for Carrie. He had a feeling she probably wouldn't.
"If not, let's go. Just close the door, it locks automatically."

"Oh?" She said quietly under her breath, she knew he was waiting and she hurriedly went around deciding exactly what firearm to select. She walked over to the case that held her old UBCS rifle. She stood there several seconds with again, another flood of memories from the Mansion as she looked upon the rifle.
She clicked open the case and took out the rifle, slinging it over her back she walked out of the house, closing the door behind her and hearing it lock. She montioned to Reeve to wait a second as she walked over to her car and unlocked it, opening the glove department and take out 3 boxes of the shells for the rifle. She slipped them into three perfect slots in her jacket and patted then lightly.
Shen then walked back over to Reeve and got into his car, read to go. She gave him a small smile and nodded as she set the rifle into a comfortable position.

Forest heard something in the back alley, a low, moaning, followed by shuffling feet. It could have been a coupl of drunks, but he knew better. He hefted his Striker, and aimed at the darkness. Three zombies, the stench from their decay almost overwhelming, burst from the shadows, lunging at him. He opened up, blowing them all away before they could reach him.
"Holy s**t....I didn't think that it could happen here...I gotta find SOMEBODY from my team, they gotta be alive somewhere..."

He watched her up until the point she got in the car, shaking his head slowly.
"It would have been nice if you told me you had ammo for that. And I was thinking more along the lines of something not framed but.. You are cleaning off the prints on the case, the rifle, and putting it back. Not really in that order."
He said, moving over to the driver's side of the vehicle and opening the door. Pulling the rifle off his back, he sat down inside and adjusted the holster slightly - setting the revolver on the floor in front of his char leaned against it.
"I'm probably going to drop by the Department first. You want to go anywhere?"
He asked, closing his door and starting the car up. From there, he pulled out of the driveway and headed toward the main part of the town.
