A happy, blissful look goes on Naruto's face as he chews his lobster and swallows. That was incredibly tasty, but he wasn't sure if it was because it was just good food or because Rikku fed it too him. Snapping out of his thoughts, he smiles at her, "It was great!! I'm real glad I made the reservations here, didn't realize this place was so cool!" he exclaims.

Leaning over Rikku kissed him lightly. "Me too. Everyone here is so nice. And the food... mmmm!"
Their waters were filled by another smiling girl, then Ming came by with more tea. Rikku smiled her thanks & inclined her head each time much to the delight of the girls. The blissful audio did not notice the less than happy expressions on some of the other patrons; Patrons who were being demanding & harsh with the staff. If she had looked, it would not be any wonder why Che & Ming were hovering towards the blonde audio pairs cheerful & honest enjoyment.
Facing her food again, Rikku continued to enjoy her meal. "Wanna try the fish?" She said after a while, her head tilting impishly at Naruto. She had always enjoyed feeding the ninja... ever since the blueberries...

Naruto himself didn't notice how harsh the other servers were being treated around the restaurant, because more then likely he would have made a scene trying to defend them all. He nods his head to her question, his tail wagging about behind him. His chopsticks were back to dangling from his smiling mouth, his plate pretty much cleaned off now.

Giggling, Rikku popped the bite into Naruto's mouth. Her tail swished happily behind her as she returned to her own meal trying not to hurry just because Naruto was finished. Some of the patrons were shooting the pair daggers, but from the kitchens' peeped the interested, smiling faces of the restaurant staff whenever they could. Most liked their jobs -really- but seeing the pair actually enjoying themselves & not just eating here for the prestige of having eaten here seemed to warm them somehow. It gave them new life.
Rikku let her tail lightly wrap around the ninja's as she ate & gave him a sideways smile. "Love you, Ruto."
A faint sigh from a romantic soul watching them could be heard from the kitchen door.

Naruto eats his portion happily, a bright smile on his face. He began to wonder what movie to take her too, he silently prayed it wasn't so overhyped chick flick, he watched enough of those when Miranda went into one of her moods at home. But he wasn't a big action movie fan either, so he hoped they could find a happy medium. Speaking of movies, he figured he had better grab the check and pay. He would have to be sure to leave a good tip and he hoped he had enough to ge the her ice cream later.

Rikku was happily getting towards the end of her portion & starting to slow. It was very filling. She tightened her tail around Naruto's sighing happily & leaning lightly onto his shoulder. Good server that she was, Ming read the signs in the shinobi's body language & scurried over with a flat black book. "I'll take it when you are ready, good sir."
With a quick bow, Ming returns to the kitchens with the others.
Upon opening the book to read the cost it is clear there are two tallies. The first, the full price of the meals. The next, a lower price. Between them is line stating employee discount 10%. If he looks up towards the kitchens, any staff that meets his eyes will smile as if holding a secret & then nod indicating that there is nothing amiss.
Continuing to eat languidly, Rikku starts feeding every other bite to Naruto. "You always eat more than I do. She wanted to ask how much... wanted to offer to help... but Trelweny had said that was not how dates worked. Still... "How is it? Not too bad?"

Naruto bowed his head respectfully to Ming, smiling brightly at her as she gave them their check. He happily eats every bite Rikku gives him, nodding his head, not being able to speak since his mouth is full. Once that is finished, he fishes out his wallet, having had the last laugh when Morgana tried to take his froggy wallet and make him carry a regular looking one. He hoped he had enough, he knew this place was exspensive, but to him, it was all worth it!
Opening the book, he browses over it, blinking a few times. He was about to call for Ming, to let her know she must have calculated it wrong, but when he looks up and catchs some of the staff looking at him and smiling that secret look and smile, he slowly smiles back and nods his head. Putting out the right amount, he calculates in his head would would be a proper tip....and then overly tips.

Sitting back upright, Rikku sips at her tea. A gentle if silly smile graces her lips seeing the familiar froggy wallet & her mind wanders to dancing... & first dances... and their first kiss.
Ming waits a while after the book is set back down on the table. "Is there anything else I can get you?"

Naruto shakes his head, putting his wallet away, but he smiles brightly again at Ming, "No, we are good. Thank you for being our waitress and if we ever come again, I will try to make sure you and Che can serve us again, you guys were great!!" he says, handing her the book back.

The wispy girl smiles & bows. "We would be honored. Che will be pleased." With another bow she takes the book back towards the cash register.
Rikku waves then sighs & leans back into Naruto's shoulder. "Thank you, Naruto. That was lovely."
About that time, Ming returns. Silently, she sets the book back on the table with the tip still inside. She has been taught well enough not to ask if change is needed nor to assume that tip is given until after the customer has gone or otherwise told her so.

Naruto smiles happily and kisses Rikku's cheek as he wraps his arm around her shoulders. "I'm really glad you liked it Rikku! Come on, we better get going to the movie theater to catch the show!" he exclaims. He smiles at Ming again as he helps Rikku out of her seat. Giving the waitress a bow and a wink, he takes Rikku's hand and leads her out the restaurant, smiling and waving to any of the staff they come across.

She sighs happily loving the feel of Naruto's arms around her shoulders & his kiss. Rikku is glad Naruto helps her up, for she had been a little afraid that getting up her normal way would be bad on the kimono. She smiles warmly at the staff on their way out but does not wave for having brought about her other hand to hold onto their joined hands. Ming smiles and bows to watch them leave, & even Che nods from his work with a slight smile to see them off.
"So... what show? Or have we picked one yet?"

Naruto shakes his head as they step out into the evening air, shivering little bit and looking around for the familiar, light green form of Dimitrus, "Nope, I am going to let you choose the movie for us to watch!" he exclaims, smiling and waving as he sees Dimitrus making his way toward them.

"Me? What, no input from you?" Shivering once more in the chill evening air Rikku snuggled against the ninja for comfort & warmth while making a silly face. "So if I pick the most sickeningly sweet girly film, that's okay?"
She was teasing, but Rikku wanted to see his reaction.

Naruto makes an 'ewww' face, but he nods his head, "Yep, its up to yuo what movie we see tonight!" he says, helping Rikku onto Dimitrus' back when the equine kneels before them to let them on. He hops up behind her and grabs the reigns, turning the horse and steering him toward the movie theater in town.
