Darling, the entirety of DoA mods are childish.
If they find something you've done on another website and can link your actions back to your DoA username, they will ban you.
It's happened many times.

That's just sad really. sad But Usagi does have a bad rep on DoA already, doesn't she? Besides, if the bunny was really going to war on this, there's really no flame in that discussion to get anyone banned. wink

This thread brings back memories.
Annoying memories, but memories nonetheless.
I got into an arguement on DoA with some girl about DZ boys and frankly, the bodies aren't similar enough to the SD16 bodies to be considred copying. Disney proved that if you change enough details about a work, it can't be called plagerism (sp?). For a while I wanted a DZ Yu, even after I'd read all of the threads and accusations, I still wanted him. Then I got a look at his hands and feet.
*Poof*
And it was gone. I have a serious thing about hands and feet, hands especially and I truly hate DZ hands. I couldn't do it and now I'm waiting for the arrival of my Elfdoll Lydia and soon hope to order my Hound, both of who have simply fabulous hands to work with.

But I want me that prize boy. He's my Lucy Monostone. I'll be in deep s**t with my ego/doll wishes if I don't at least get his head.
If I get the full thing, I was planning on sanding down major amounts of his body anyway. It's ugly.

I kinda like the 1/3 boy hands, as they are absolutely gargantuan in size. The deep nail beds would have to go though, but that's an easy fix. I'd just introduce them to my friend Mr. Sanding Sponge. If I decide to keep my Ying head after I'm done playing plastic surgeon on it, I'll be getting the DZ body.

BBdoll release suposidly is today (Feb 1st in China), there should be 8 dolls to look forward too ranging from 24-26cm I believe. Priced around (don't quote me on this, it was an estimate by their sales representative) US$160 each. A set of twins, if bought together, possibly will go for US$260!

They've been released! I checked on edendoll.com, but I'm pretty sure their official website has them too.
THEY ARE SO CUTE!
I really like ChinLing. She looks like a small version of a creepy old victorian doll. She'd make a good weird/psychic/genius/too-smart-for-you little kid, I think. I'm not very fond of the boys, though. Kind of bland. xp

Herr Astro Tea_Time They DID copy a head mold a long time ago. We still don't know about the SD16 body and I'm holding off judgement till I see them myself. Because I agree that some of the pictures don't look all that similar. The only thing that might have been copied from what I can see is the joint system itself. Once again the little details of which I'd need to see in person to be sure of. Someone posted side-by-side comparrison pictures of them on one of the discussion topics on DoA before. They're almost exactly alike. Even if they aren't coppied, they're still fugly. Yeah, there is also talk about them copying hands, Lut's I think, cause of the PINKIES! Being out some XD So, I'm sitting at my computer, yesterday I got a doll brush, for my doll when she comes, and I was brushing my AMERICAN GIRLS hair, cause my mom wanted to play with her XD I then put her atop my computer. So today I'm looking at her, and I realized the computer was getting hot, so I took her off. I felt her hands, and they where HOT. So, I'm feeling her hands, making sure they arn't melting XD And I relized, ZOMG! The have the out-streched pinky!!! Which means ( I got my AG YEARS ago, before I knew of BJDs, like...3 years AT LEAST ago) that LUT"S ISN"T THE ONLY PLACE! Which mean DZ could have did it WITH OUT copying, just cause they liked how it looked! I don't think they copy thing should affect getting a doll, your gettting A DOLL you like, not a PERSON WHO MAKES THE DOLLS that you don't XD

I mean, she's gotten mods to say some stuff to her, but what is it, verbal warning, offical warning, banned? I've seen more then 3 mods say stuff to her...she's got 3,000+ posts, so that prlly why...@@ Oh well. She needs to learn VOLKS doens't rule the world I think.
