Darlings, I don't mean to be sound, like, compete-y or anything... but there was already a NaNoWriMo guild. Has been for nearly two years now.
Anyway...yeah. sweatdrop I'm Steph, this will be my 5th year doing nano.

Hey! I'm glockmemoirs, on Gaia and Nano! I've been looking forward to this Nanowrimo since spring, and it will be my first.
I'm in my senior year of high school, so this should be fun, eh? I already have a plot, completely laid out, so now all I have to do is character profiles and then, of course, start writing on the first! My novel is going to be sort about gangs, drug rings, and the police force, with one catch: it's has fairy tales and nursery rhyme characters as the basis for my characters.
So, I'm excited, and I'm glad there's a group of people who can be a support group.

Hello, I'm Evrithingducky on NaNo. This is my first year having signed up.
I've done some writing- it's, uh, what I want to do with my life- but I've never finished any of the 'books' I've tried to write- most of which concerned a world I made up, then overdid and made too complicated. I have over 100k words on one doc. file in my word processor, from the longest story I worked on and then abandoned.
My NaNo is fantasy and it has no real plot. But, it's set on the made up world that I mentioned, which has, since I signed up for NaNo on Monday, begun to sort itself out and make sense again, sort of. To make up for the stability on that front, I have no character bios. eek
I'm in trouble. Nah, I'll be fine. No, I won't. Yes, I will.
I'll be fine. Piece of cake. neutral

What's happening?
I'm Lady Snoogin on Gaia, MaisonDetre on NaNo, and an actual person in real life. The "Snoogin" of course comes from "snoogins", as in "scooch to the nooch!"
MaisonDetre is a complicated French pun -- comes from "raison d'etre", a common phrase meaning "reason to be", or what you live for. Example: Currently, NaNoWriMo is my raison d'etre. "Maison" is French for "house", so "maison d'etre" is "house to be", or, you know, the party spot. We named my friend's house this, because she had awesome parties and cool parents and everyone always hung out there.
No, I don't speak French, but I am good with puns.
This is my first year doing NaNo, but I've wanted to for a while. I think it will be hard, but somehow I will manage . . . I hope . . .

FireFoxxNT Awesome! First a thread, and now a guild! *Dances with excitement.*
Anyway, I go by the names of Fire and Foxx both, so whichever you'd like, go ahead and use! They're practically interchangable. *Laughs* This is my first year doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm uber excited! All the more excited because I'm challenging myself and I'll try to write a realistic novel about an original character of my own that I have fallen in love with. Let's see how that works out then, huh? *Chuckles*
Anyway, I'm 17 and I live in Hoboken, NJ! Hopefully I'll be attending some of the little get-togethers we'll be having throughout November and I'll get to meet some more NaNo writers! I wish the best to you all! November's right around the corner! heart Dude Hoboken! My hometown is Hamilton NJ in Mercer County, totally close! Of course right now I'm very far away for college cause I got out of Jersey ASAP. =D Hello, my name is Lea, and this is my third year with NaNo. The first I won but didn't finish after 60k something words, the second never got past 1k, as I was in college and had a new set of priorites, and this one I'm not sure about. I still don't know what I'll be writing, but I'm sure if I have the time to write I'll have plenty of material. 3nodding

Hey everyone! My name is Erin but everyone calls me Tulip. I live in PA, about an hour and a half outside Pittsburgh. I'm a University student in my Junior year, my majors are English (creative writing/modern lit) and Religious Studies (Eastern Philosophy). This will be my fourth year participating in NaNo (i'm an olbie with this thing) and hopefully not my fourth year failing at NaNo.

It is my first year doing NaNo and I'm really excited for this thing to start!
I turned 15 exactly a month ago.
Uh, what else?
I live in the United States.
I've never ever typed anything over like 30k. And I've never finished anything.
Hardly anyone knows I enjoy writing.
I'm planning on writing a story about a semi-insane actor this year xd

Hi, I'm StrawberryJeli and I go by SpaceCadet on NaNoWriMo. This will be my third year participating. This year I'm going to write a fantasy novel set in the Victorian era. Unless I decide to scrap it at the last second and write something else.
