"Dont pick at the skin, i cant help it if any is missing."
He moved her hand away from the injured flesh softly.
"I cant heal the pain, youll have to endure it for a while. But thats alright; I have a special balm."
Ginseku reached out with his glowing hand, and grabbed her injured one, holding it softly. The aura began to spread across her arm softly, a wave of numbness and anesthesia flowing through it. The burned flesh began to turn lighter, the crackles began to seal up like nothing had happened at tall. the red soreness in her upper arm began to fade, going back to its creamy texture. The burned flesh reattached to her arm, and sewed itself together. her arm was completely healed, though the light burning sensation of the recent injury remained. Ginseku reached back with his free hand, and pulled out a small bottle. It was shaped like a miniature african water jug, and had a small cork in it. He opened her hand with the one he was healing her with, then placed it in there, closing her hand with his.
"Apply a small portion of this balm for a week and everything should be fine."
He smiled lightly at her.

"Th... Thanks!" Kasai's eyes were wide again. She couldn't understand why he was being so kind to someone he just met. She placed the small jar in a pouch in her kimono sleeve, then began examining her hand. The dull throb and burning sensation was still there, but the skin was back to its perfect state.
"That's a really useful technique." She continued to stare at her hand, twisting it around and flexing the fingers. They were stiff, but nothing more than that. Her mind was musng over the many questions she had.
"Why..." She said softlly to herself.
"Why care..." She did not mean to say that part aloud, and she quickly looked up at Ginseku to see if he noticed.

He said the last part in a way that sounded full of meaning and truth, looking up at her. He smiled lightly.

"But..." This idea was puzzling her. In her village, the elfs all took care of themselves, not bothering themselves with others, let alone Kasai the little half breed. How could some one possibly be this kind?
"But... We just met each other earlier today... How can we be... friends... so quickly? Besides, don't you just want to care for your own kind? Not a mixed breed like me?" Her eyes were dull now. Dulled by her lack of understanding. Dulled by the sadness of her past. No emotion swirled though her eyes, and they grew dim, as if the fire inside her was dying slightly.

"Sai, I dont care about just me, i care for everyone around me. I dont care if youre a half breed. What i care about is whats in here."
He took her hand, and placed it over her heart softly. She could feel her heartbeat, and he could too.
"As long as you have this, i dont care what you are on the outside. You are your own person, and you are unique. That is why i care for everyone, they all have something special to share witht the world. You have something too, Sai. So dont let what you are,"
He paused for a moment, putting a soft hand to the side of her cheek in a friendly manner.
" get in the way of WHO you are..ok?"

"..." Ginseku's speech hit home. Kasai was utterly speechless, so she just shook her head in agreement. Her heart had fluttered when he put his hand to her cheek, something very stange and new to her. She could still feel his warm touch on her face. She looked into his eyes for a brief moment before blushing and back at her healed hand.
Victor was up in the booth watching the both of them talk, but unable to herar what was going on.
"I'm going to assume that the battle is over... Victor: Ginseku!" His loud voiced boomed across the arena, breaking Kasai from her happy little trance.
"Now if you don't mind, please leave the arena. It is for battling, not chit chat."

"Alright...Im gonna...go over to the Magic shop now...I have to find something..Meet me in the bird wing bar in a bit, okay?"
he smiled at her happily, then backed up a bit. he wanted to leave and get things going, but he wanted to make sure she understood.

"I'll see you there!" She smiled happily before teleporting away.

A shadow appeared on one of the floating platforms in the Battle arena. The lights were all out, but the moon shone down brightly from the sky above. Glissa and Kirai rose up from the shadows in the exact position's they were back in the courtyard.

Kirai Immediateyl tossed glissa aside, chanting random words in demon tongues. The scroll writhed.
"Prepare to die..."

Glissa was tossed off the platform and into the air. She somersaulted and her wings burst from her back with a sickening ripping sound. Once she caught herself she hovered in the air just above the platform Kirai was on. The wounds on her leg were quickly healing over, and soon there was nothing but the wet blood remaining. Then there were eyes everywhere. The seemed to be in every shadow in the arena. Glissa's pupils flashed into slits and she shrieked with delight.
"NEVER! I will NEVER die!" Her voice seemed possessed again. She was bobbing up and down in the air with each flap of her great wings.

"YES YOU WILL DAMMIT! BY MY HANDS!"
Kirai Raised his hand up, and his scroll stood straight out like a ruler. the runes on it were glowing black.
"DEATHSPAWN! RISE FROM THY GRAVES BEYOND THE GATRES OF HADES! COME FORTH AND STRIKE DOWN!"
There was a tremendous rumbling sound. Balls of pure black energy formed in midair. They swirled menacingly and quickly, then began to think out into nothingness. Then they exploded, and there were huge, terrifying creatures floating in midair with scythes. They they appeared to be copies of the grim reaper, only with the skulls of demons. They Flew towards the shadows mercilessly, and struck at the eyes, slicing shadow away. They rose back up to kirais side; there were about ten of them.

Glissa cackled menacingly. Out of the shadows materialized about a dozen hell hounds and two dozen demons that resembles the warriors of Anubis. They landed on the platforms floating around the arena. One of the demons tossed a staff down to Glissa, which she caught with ease. It was made of black steel, and had what looked like a scythe on one end and a curved sickle on the other.
"I can do the same tricks as you! You think I don't know everything that's in hell? I bloody came from the depths of hell!" With one powerful flap of her wings, Glissa was next to one of the reapers. She swung her staff down at it and cut right through it's scythe as it tried to block. At the same time the hounds began leaping at the various reapers.
