Rikunort
Unicorns are creatures drawn to the purity and innocence of maidens. Maybe they represent Namine, who took care of Sora for all that time, trying to fix things.

Or maybe it represented the Nobodies - creatures of myth, legend, undeniably magical and beautiful, but hunted. We humans are capable of destroying the good that passes between our hands... Unicorns, home, friends - we don't realize how wonderful they are until they're gone.

Very well said... *thoughtful expression* You may well be right...

I found something weird with the Org. 13 names. Here, let me show you.
Orginazation 13 Mystery
Let us start with Xenmas
Name: Xenmas Element: Nothing
Now to numbuh 2
Name: Xigbar Element: Space
Name: Xaldin Element: Wind
Name: Vexen Element: Ice
Name: Lexaeus Element: Earth
Name: Zexion Element: Unknown
Name: Saïx Element: Luna
Name: Axel Element: Fire
Name: Demyx Element: Water
Name: Luxord Element: Time. Now you have to change this one a little, but Chronos is another way to say time.
Name: Marluxia Element: Flower
Name: Larxene Element: Lightning
Name: Roxas Element: Same as Luxord. Change to Photo. Roxas' is strange in the first place because his name had to line up with Sora.

All thier names have one or more of the letters of their elements. It's kinda weird to me. The only weird people are Luxord and Roxas, but if you cahnge the way you say it, it all matches! ><

Given how there are only 26 letters in the English alphabet, and you highlighted some of the most common ones, I'm going to say that's more of a coincidence than anything else.

Yah, that's true! But it is still fun finding it...

Question-
I was playing KH1 the other...okay...month, and I got to the Traverse Town hotel. I went up to the desk-lookin thing, and hit the bell. It rang three times before someone said "no vacancy" from behind the curtain. What exactly is the purpose of this? confused

*shrug* Random quirky thing, I guess. I did find it rather funny, though.

Oh.

I kinda got excited when I found it, figured it led to something hidden being unlocked. xp

Apparently not.

The unicorn is meant as a symbol of purity. Because the Mansion is your first encounter with Namine, everything about that experience can be attributed to characterization. Namine is meant to be a character which you view as "totally pure, untainted" therefore, Nomura wants everything you associate with Namine to be a symbol for purity. The most obvious ones? White and Unicorns. She wears pure white clothes and everything in her room is pure white. Even outside her room, the mansion is adorned with unicorns, said to be the purest of mythical beasts. (Not to mention unicorns are supposed to be pure white) And even straying beyond the white, even other colors in her room (on the pictures) are not mixed with any other colors. If a picture has red in it, it's a bright, blazing red, not a maroon or burgondy--(red with black). And of course, she's meant to be very innocent and childlike, not only with the unicorns, but with the way she interacts with Roxas. It's all subtle characterization.

The stars are much the same. Stars are very much a symbol of an "unfulfilable dream". Even in our advanced society, we are incapable of reaching other galaxies and stars. In much the same way, Roxas shows a strong desire to meet Sora, which should technically be impossible given that he is Sora. Of course, then he discovers what he is and grows to hate Sora. While his wish has changed, it is till the same in nature. He wants the remain in his false reality and never have to face the truth---an impossibility given that his reality was created for the specific purpose of restoring Sora. And after Sora wakes up, the stars are still there because now Sora has seemingly impossible dreams---find Riku, return to Destiny Islands, ect. The resolve to the metaphor comes at the very end, when they cross the bridge into the big door to go fight Xemnas. The "unattainable' is now in their grasp--Riku has been found and redeemed, the existence of the "Door to Light" is confirmed, hence they can return home, and once Xemnas is defeated all of the worlds will be safe. What was once possible is now possible, and so they walk into the realm of the stars as a symbol for reaching the unreachable.

Phew....that was long.... sweatdrop

Okay, this is something I've noticed. Riku basically turned into a heartless whenever "Ansem" took over his body yes? And according to Yen Sid anyone with a stong heart and/or mind who turns into a heartless will also turn into a Nobody. Like a humanoid Nobody. And Riku, dispite what he might say, has a strong heart and mind. Which means his Nobody should be out there somwhere. So I think either His nobody will show up in KH3 or(this one might sound a bit crazy) the Riku that Sora took back to the islands is actually his Nobody and they haven't found the real one yet. Which, since the guy wouldn't have a heart could cause for further predicaments in KH3. And obviously noone knows about this Nobody Riku
XURIK ( just made that up randomly sweatdrop ) But they start noticing like weird things about him in the begining of the next game. Sry..... I'm rambling. Hahaha I have my fantasy's about the next game. *cough* I think Riku and Sora should end up together instead of Kairi Sora. *cough* xd nyway that's all

That would work, but Riku actually never turned into a heartless. His body was taken over by Ansem, and he used dark powers, but that still didn't make him one. He still had a heart, it was just corrupted. Ansem got to it before anything could have happened.

And by Ansem, I mean Xehanort's Heartless, by the way. Darn all that confusing stuff from KH2...>_>
