Kamiss smiled at her from his seat at the bar. "Good morning." He said, getting up to get her some water. "Luna was here just after you fell asleep. She just left." He handed her the water, and returning to his seat. His face then darkened. "She and I took turns scouting for more signs of war, but we didn't find anything."

then the door opened, and someone kamiss had not seen for a long time walked in. he was a tall man, slender and burly, with long red hair, black jeans and a brown t-shirt. on his back was a long katana with a eerie glow around it. "long time no see, kamiss" he sat down in a chair and snapped his fingers. then a trail of water came from the faucet in the kitchen into his mouth, "you been doing well lately?"

Kamiss had to keep from grinning. With a struggle to keep from laughing he said "How's those travels doing for you Silas?", knowing exactly how poor they had been, and rubbing Silas' nose in it. Getting up, Kamiss filled a mug and walked back over. "Here." He said, plunking it down. "Glad you got my invite; you couldnt've picked a better time. Zero is gone, Raiynoc is gone, the forest boundaries have been breached-first sign of war in ten years-and I think Trarr is up to his tricks again." Kamiss needed a drink himself, but instead of getting up, he plucked a finger and a full mug came to him. "You fought beside me and Lyra in the War, old friend." He said quietly, leaning forward. "How about helping me out again?"

"i thought you'd never ask", he said after chugging the entire mug in a second. "i'd be happy to oblige. come, i have something to show you"

Kamiss obeyed, following Silas. "What exactly is it you have to show me?" Kamiss asked as he walked outside. He recievied no answer. "At least, where are we heading?"

Chobah stood at the window, a steaming mug of Kamiss' coffee in her cold hands. She sighed, and her breath fogged the window, making her sigh again at having to wipe away the condensation. Then she turned back inward, facing the fireplace.
So many secrets...so many lives...what next?

Luna was walking on the path towards the forest borders to find anything out the ordinary. Looking down at the cup of coffee every so often that Kamiss gave her. With a shrug of her shoulders she took a sip. Surprised it was really delicious. It was warm and tingling as it went down. With a smile she sat down on a rock starting to laugh about the last comment Kamiss made to her about the drink."He can't even lie without a straight face sometimes," she laughed to herself as she scan the area once more.

A roar sounded from the forest clearing and Raiynoc rose into the air. Kamiss sat atop his back, face set firm but eyes showing the joy he held at having his best friend back. Well, little one. Raiynoc thought at him. It seems we are one again. Kamiss nodded, thinking his consent. "The enemy dare not attack us now. You, Lyra, Silas, Luna, and me..." He shook his head. "Only a fool would attack a force so strong!" They returned to the inn, Kamiss waving his hand. A section of wall not too far from the bar and entrance unfolded, wood, stone and other materials flying outwards. Suddenly, they multiplied and moved themselves, making a huge new roofless room. It was there that Raiynoc and Kamiss landed, and a roof folded over them. Raiynoc shrunk to the size of a kitten, and held loosely to Kamiss' shoulder as they exited the new addition. Good to be back the dragon broadcasted so that all near could hear. Kamiss simply smiled.

Luna set the glass down telling herself not t forget it's there and to take it back whenever she goes back to the inn. She then closed her eyes and leaned back against the tree listening to her surroundings.
