Sir Magnor Criol You mean they don't? *Laughs* No, they do. Although they're optional to have. *nod*Sir Magnor Criol In other news: KagamiChan889 I am new to gaia and i need some help, i have nothing to wear and i have like no gold Why in the heck do you actually write out the word "like" as she did here!? I can *sort of* understand it in speech...it's a placeholder. Something you say when you need to figure out what to say. But typing? Grr, that's annoying. I do believe that when the moron said 'like' it was meant to be used as the word 'almost' would have been. As if "I'm a n00b and I have almost no brain." smile

Mouse Pachinkorelli I never understood why some morons type "kewl" instead of "cool". Cripes, but there's another one of my sore spots. I mean, both "words" have the same amount of of letters. In fact, it takes longer to type out 'kewl', because there are 4 different letters, as opposed to three different letters (two of which are repeating) in cool. /overanalyzing.

Even if you still disagree, then the other way is still bad grammar, of sorts. Makes no sense. You either have no gold or you don't; you can't have almost no gold. It's a yes-or-no type thing. It's like saying "I'm almost pregnant", except without the shocked looks from people.

Two words smashed together? But if that's the reason for it to be a contraction, is "you're" or "ya'll" or "he'll" a contraction as well? Fits pretty well your definition.
Or maybe I'm trying to understand something that should be understood, because it is like that, and that's it. Too many of Japanese grammar has a reasoning of that kind. xp

I like the sight of 'd' instead of 'th', as in 'dey', 'dat', 'da'. domokun

I think she just like, wanted to like, use the like in her like, sentence, because it's like, so trendy and like, shows that you like have a like problem with like, joining your like, words together. I have like, no gold?
'Like' doesn't mean anything there. It's just a pretty addition. (:

"UR". That one hurts my brain.
And I cant stand anyone talking in Leet ( I don't know the numbers and letters that make up the word "leet") Anyone that talks like that around me gets flamed viciously.

In other occurances: I was called a 'Leet veteran wannabe' for trying to sell items in the exchange. Just because someone has been on Gaia longer, doesn't make them 'leet'. :]

Translation: People who type like this can go screw themselves up the a**...
Who wants to type like that anyways? Who, in their right sense of mind, will spend +6x amount of time typing ALL of that, rather than typing regular English? The level people stoop these days...
I feel ashamed even sharing the same CYBERSPACE with them... crying

Mouse Pachinkorelli I never understood why some morons type "kewl" instead of "cool". It's for the same reasons as those people who write "ravyn" and "silvyr" and so on. It looks 'pretty'. They don't look that pretty to me, really, seeing as the ariel font takes away the aesthetic(did I spell that right?) appeal. Perhaps they use one of those swirly fonts... natawa How about 'kul' and 'kool'? The buttons on the keyboard are closer. domokun
I like the sight of 'd' instead of 'th', as in 'dey', 'dat', 'da'. domokun I agree. I like seeing 'dey' and 'dat'. In fact, I'd be pleased if they changed the words in the dictionary to make those the new spellings. That, and 'luv' is okay with me. You can't spell any other word rhyming with love in the same way, and you can only spell love like the above if you are using it as a title. Good by me: Hello, luv. No-no: I luv Josh.

A LOT IS TWO WORDS: DO IT, DO IT, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!
Ooooooooh the hate. The hate for misspellings. Even when people misspell on purpose to demonstrate how NOT to spell something. My blood boils.
