Wow, has it really been that long since I last visited this place. It seems- in a way- like meeting up with an old friend you haven't seen in ages. Realizing once again why you were so close and- perhaps- realizing why you no longer hang out.

But until that last realization occurs, I'm back.

I am a graphic designer/illustrator/web developer type person living in San Francisco. Originally started in the midwest, I spent a lot of time on gaia way back when I lived that different life and am slowly relearning this beast.

I'm really into intelligent discussion, I find it difficult to argue, though. Not that I'm bad at it, I just really dislike doing so and can't- for the life of me- not see value in my fellow discussion partner's post. I'm really into my spiritual practice and discussing and learning from other people's. I'm also into art and programming, logic, math, beauty, physical activities... everything, really. (well not everything, per se)

What I want to point out is that obesity was actually considered a sign of beauty for a loooong time, because it implied the person had enough money to eat until they were fat.
