He decided to answer the question about his family first. "My mom is quite the flirt. She was a very caring and nurturing mother. I'm actually alot like my dad. We're both free spirit types and very laid back. I haven't seen my brother since we came out of our baskets. I'd like to find him again one day."
he said softly. "How about your family?"

"My family? It's a bit chaotic. My sister, Sgina, was disowned as just a foal. My father is kind and caring, but quite oblivious about the world around him. My brother, I don't see that often, but when I do he is always nice, if not a bit annoying. Finally my mother, she's so sweet and loving, but the stress from the situation of my sister has taken her happy nature away," said Kimi, a bit quickly, trying to get through with it as quickly as possible. She didn't like talking about her family to much, she found it discomfortable, but something that needed to be said. Not to mention, she asked Lucius, so Kimi knew Lucius would ask the same question in return.
"I would love to meet your mother or father someday, perhaps. They sound quite nice," said Kimi with a warm smile.

He blinked as she described her family to him. "Well at least it's never a dull moment." he said to her trying to make light of the situation. He could tell that her family situation bothered her so he didn't linger over it.
"I think they'd like to meet you too. If you'd like I'll introduce you to my mother."

"I would love to meet your mother," said Kimi with a smile. "She must be a lovely woman, raising such a wonderful stallion such as yourself. Perhaps one day you could meet my mother as well. She really is a lovely person, she could use some happiness in her life. Seeing me with a stallion will, well, I think it would make her happy. But I'm not so sure if you would want to meet her yet. But, to answer your question again, yes, I would love to meet your family."

"I think she is." he said to her, referring to her comments about his mother. "And I'd love to meet your mother. Maybe a meeting of both of them would be best. A new friend for your mother may be what she needs." he was happy to hear that Kimi wanted to meet his mom. It was very important to him that she liked her and vice versa.

"Perhaps you are right," said Kimi, realizing what her mother really does need. A friend, yes, that is exactly it. She has no family outside of the one she started, which has seemed to start to fall apart. A friend could be perfect for Randee. "We should definitely try to arrange the both of them to meet, with the both of us, of course. I'm sure it would be a lovely time spent, my mother could really use it, and I think we both could as well, getting to know each other's origins is very important."

"Yes, that is important." Lucius agreed with her. He was glad his suggestion of the meeting of their mothers was approved by Kimi. He felt that a small intimate gathering of them and their mothers would be best for a first meeting.
"When would you like to have this group meeting? I'm sure my mother would be free anytime."

"Hrm, well, my mother is on that winding road of sadness and its not looking to much better," said Kimi. "Perhaps I could help cheer her up, and then have the meeting? I think I would only need maybe two full moons at the most, but in the meantime, we will still be meeting with each other of course, so we can still be together. Does that sound alright with you, Lucius?"

"That sounds fine Kimi." Lucius told her. "Especially the part where we would continue to meet. I like the time we spend together." he had a small smile on lips as he said those words.

"As do I," said Kimi, taking a few small steps closer to Lucius as she leaned her face closer and closer to his. "I hope we can meet like this more often, under the moonlight, just me...and you."
Kimi nuzzled Lucius gently.

Lucius smiled as Kimi nuzzled him and he returned her affection. "Well I don't know if I can promise you we'll always meet in the moonlight, I think you'd look just as lovely in the sunrise." he whispered in her ear teasingly.

Kimi leaned closer to Lucius, closed her eyes and got closer to Lucius, allowing her instincts to take control...

...Kimi awoke lying in the grass next to Lucius. She opened her eyes and smiled. She stretched out her body a bit happily, it had been a great night. She hoped for many more nights with Lucius. Under the sun, Lucius was just as handsome as he was in the night. Kimi knew at that moment that she was indeed in love with him.

Deep in sleep, Lucius felt something or was it someone, move beside him. He slowly opened his eyes and tried to remember why it felt like something very important happened. As he looked over and saw Kimi with her body nestled against his it all came back suddenly. His smile deepened as he realized that he was right. She did look just as lovely in the sunrise.

"Morning," she said in a relaxed voice with a tranquil smile. "Last night was...amazing."
Kimi stretched out her back a bit more, trying to get some energy, but she didn't want to get up, she enjoyed lying in the grass, spending time with Lucius. She inched her body a bit closer to Lucius slowly, trying to get more comfortable with Lucius.
