It seems to me that most of you are trendwhoring, just to make yourself seem special. I'm a homosexual, might be bisexual, but I dont care much about it. I knew/know what pansexuality means, my ex was pansexual actually. All these people just seem to want attention and seem to be following some trend.

ex: I'm goth cuz I like black n stuff, and I'm all lyke...depressed.

Some of you really need to re-analyze yourselves and decide your identity, not just go with something that sounds different and sounds cool.

Way to burst someone's bubble. :<

But really--think about what you're saying for a moment. If you think that way, isn't homosexuality just the same? People trendwhoring after a sexuality that you might not think exists. Maybe they need to re-examine their identities, because that boy really can't like other boys, that's stupid and impossible and he's just trying to be cool. What a trendwhore, right?

So maybe I'm lesbian, and I like girls, and I'm all like...a slut girl. Unbelievable. Ridiculous. I probably just thought it would be cool to say I'm attracted to girls, because it's different and sounds cool.

Pansexuality encompasses those who can appreciate, be attracted to, and love those who are not part of the static male/female categories. Does it not make sense to you that we could find someone who's trans, beautiful? Why?

Pfft, I never said any of that. Its just pretty funny how everyone started saying they're pansexual after this. Besides, some people are only attracted to trannies, or feminine boys, or butch girls, its called fetish not pansexuality. Pansexuality is very hard to understand, and alot of you seem to just decide you're suddenly pansexual because you seem to fit with part of the definition.

I'm not sure I understand. Could you explain which part of the definition is not being used here? The basic definition is someone who likes guys, girls, and everything in between--and I certainly go with that. I've identified as pansexual for some time now, and I'd like to inquire after any reasons I or others shouldn't say as such.

Ever since I turned 11 I've always been attracted to an asortment of people. Men with femine features, women who are masculine, drag queens/kings, asexuals, androgynic people, and many others. But I'd have to say that I am purely bisexual. Sure I'd love an androgynic boyfriend or girlfrined.
But, above all else, I don't feel comfertable actually being in a relationship with the type of people I've listed. It's not that I couldn't stand them or that I'd feel uncomfertable with them, it's that I don't "swing" in those directions. I'd just rather be friends with them then anything else. I hope I've made myself clear.

Wow.. methinks I am pansexual. I very much have an attraction to feminine guys. Not so much "butch" girls, I like them to act like girls, but I like girls with short hair and meat on their bones, ya know? I alos have an attraction to guy-ish guys and girly girls..
I am just going to keep saying I'm bisexual, though. Cuz the last thing I need is people asking me for more definitions (I am Wiccan and have enough to explain as it is)

Wow. Pansexuality. New word. whee
Although I am not sure of my sexuality. ((I am going to go through my thoughts again later)) I am beginning to find myself attracted to both sexes, thus making myself Bi Sexual. But I am going to have to get back to you on Pansexuality when I do find that I am Bi Sexual or not, ((it might be awhile with just myself, if you want to help me out that would be great))

While I'd say it could be good to explore your sexual identity, I'd recommend not getting help from others. The best that someone else would be able to help you with would be defining an orientation for you--but your identity comes down to yourself and the way you feel. You should never ask someone to do the labeling for you. :<

I think pansexuality is just a b-s term for people who don't want to be associated with lesbian/gayness...

short, sorry...

On the contrary, it seems more to me like anyone who identifies as pansexual is over-involved in the LGBT community. It's hard to know the term otherwise.

And then, what about bisexuality?

This is kinda showing that there are over hundreds of sexual orientations branching off the main ones. (Gay, Straight, Bi, Lesbian)

I do agree with you, but it is sort of shitty to critize people who are just coming to terms with their sexuality and are a "bit" confused. Who knows, maybe in a billion years most of the popualtion will be gay and the minority will be straight and the gay people will be like "quite trying to be gay you poseur" xd . Just a thought

I'm not pansexual, because I don't think everything is sexy. I definately don't like butch guys or pretty girls, but that's just preference I think. I like guys who are tough but have a sensitive side and girls who know how to stand up for themselves.
