Mecca looked at her and folded his arms. He watched her and listened to her, frowning and walking over to her. "No ... don't go." He sighed standing before her and not really knowing what to do with himself. "You don't cause me trouble. I just don't want to keep hurting you. It is not fair."

Covet looked up into his eyes and frowned slightly. Was that what this was about now? Maybe he had seen more than she had thought. But she couldn't help it. Yaku's kiss had been everything she had been brought up to believe in. It had taken her by complete surprise that he had given it to her so easily, without the turmoil that seemed to plague Mecca whenever she attempted to show him the softer side of affection. She would admit, it had been nice, but it hadn't done anything for her. How could it when it hadn't been Mecca who had given it to her?
"Don't you think that is something for me to decide? Whether it's fair or not? I've known what you're capable of from the very beginning. It isn't like you haven't warned me," she smirked a little. "And... I don't mind it. It doesn't even hurt anymore," she said softly. So that was only a half truth. But the longer she stayed with him the more she could withstand, and it honestly didn't hurt as much as the first night when he had made her forget so easily. She had grown to welcome the pain. It was just another way for her to express herself now, which was what he had wanted to teach her, right?
Reaching up she adjusted the collar of his shirt and then smoothed her hands over his chest. With a small nod to herself, she looked up into his eyes with a small half smile. "I'm going to go feed the animals. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me," she said, then called to Scim as she walked around him to start for the stairs.
