Emi didn't seem to notice Keivlos arriving - but she DID notice Revon. In a dress. Were boys supposed to wear dresses? It didn't seem right, at least, to her. Cyrus didn't wear a dress.
Her daddies didn't wear dresses. But he DID look pretty and she wanted to see him - so gathering up her courage and breaking away from Aiden, Emi took off towards the lonely looking raven.
"Revon!"
If Keivlos wanted her attention, he'd have to find some way to get to HER.

The boy's wings jerked at the sound of his name before he looked over to spot the familiar pale bird. Not only that, she was in pink, a color he'd been quite tempted to use as a theme for his costume. "E-emi." He smiled happily, not realizing his brother was there at all.
He carefully turned himself to face her, smoothing out the wrinkles that appeared from the action. "H-how are y-you?" He asked quietly, making sure he hadn't left the exact spot he'd been told to wait. He wasn't going to move, not if he'd get in trouble for it. But it was nice to have a friend here now, he didn't like being all alone much.
"Y-you look pr-pretty. I li-like the p-p-nk."

"Watcha', get? Watcha get?" The blonde giggled excitedly jumping up and down in her four inch heals. With a quick tug she had the Halloween bag out of her son's hands and in her own before he could even gripe about her.
The lovebird moved to protest--"You can't just do that!" Snatch! Back in his hands it went the bag of trick or treat goodies. Sometimes it seemed Ma' had no self restraint, she was like...like a little kid...but then again he was too. " I mean, ..." he sighed, feeling poor for getting mad at the woman who now feigned to be so terribly hurt.
A feel of little fingers digging into her shoulder let the substitute know, her little masked feind was waking up. But to her surprise, he neither screamed, nor made any motion to rip off his garments...or did he even leap out of her arms. Still groggy? When on earth had she ever seen him somewhat sleepy? The boy hated sleep, when he did eventually shut his eyes, it was more of the pass out type of deal, than getting ready for bed.
"Keivlo's--" The teacher tried to shift around but only succeeded in spinning the child around so he was facing the opposite way.
Immediately the child felt better. It wasn't as if he were afraid of Emi--but the last time...the last time...weary eye's blinked as images and sounds blended in the dark feathered head. "Keivie....Keiv--Revie?" A switch in tone as behind the desk, Keivlos caught a glimpse of a familiar face. A familiar face, which he treasured above all others. "...REVIE!" Came a screech, and the bird was off, clawing his way out of Madeline's grasp, onto the reception desk, where off of it, he completed a head first dive into his brother, whom was quietly seated amog various playtime objects.
Oh no--it was..she had come over! Keivlos had spotted the swan a moment to late, and at this rate, his trajectory was such that he would collide with both his brother, and the child which both amazed and terrified him.

The scorpion blinked as he heard his name being called, and turned his head to look down at the girl that was hurrying up to him. He smiled brightly, "H-hey, Z-zyan-anya!" His eyes darted to the side- "Chath!" His smile grew slightly. He was happy to see people that he knew.. It made things a lot nicer.. Although Kat seemed nice, and he kinda knew her... It was always great to have friends around.
He looked back to Zyanya, "H-happy H-halloween! I-I like y-your costume a l-lot." He offered, before moving to timidly take the bag from the older woman before them and clasp it to his chest. "Th-thank you, m-ma'am." His caretaker had certainly taught him his manners. He looked back to the younger of his two friends, "Wh-what've you t-two been u-up to?"

Chath thanked Kat and took both his bag and his sisters as she had wandered off towards Nero. "Hey you two are wearing similar costumes." He commented observing the fact that Zyanya seemed to be sticking fairly close to the scorpian boy.
"Us? We just got here really." Chath replied at Nero's question. "My dragon Keir is by my mom, you could probably pick her out easily enough, she is the very uncomfertable looking feiry that has a black dragon ebside her." he stated with a small laugh.
Zyan looked up to Nero her face offering a small smile, her large eyes looked him over in wonder. "You are a mummy two!" she stated even though Chath had just finished pointing out this fact but a moment ago. A strong urge to hug Nero's leg she resisted as she was afiad of hurting Nero with her barbed arms.

"I'm okay," she answered, looking backwards at her father. So long as he was generally close, she would be okay. Suddenly, though, she wished she was in her tutu. That thing always made everything seem different.
But she wasn't. She was in a very pretty pink costume that made her look pretty too, "Thank you."
Third compliment. It had to be true!
"Y..you do too." A small smile was offered and she was about to go into a hug when the sound of someone screaming a variant of Revon's name reached her ears and a flying thing in a costume was coming towards them and was going to crash.
The young girl scrunched her face up and raised her hands to hide it, hunching herself over in an attempt to protect herself just incase the young boy collided with HER.

Nero nodded slightly, "U-uh-huh. W-we are.. M-mine's kind of sh-shabby, though... M-me and d-daddy just th-threw it t-together t-today.." He patted a claw gently on the top of Zyan's head, being very careful not to hurt her with the big awkward thing. "Y-yeah, m-me too.." He hesitated, and then took a look around. "W-we left K-Kei at home... I-I think that w-was the s-safer dec-decision..."
He spotted the mentioned two, and then turned his attention back to the younger pair. He looked down to the girl and smiled, "Y-yep." He probably wouldn't have been harmed much by her latching, as a result of his hardened armored skin, but his costume might have taken some damage. "S-so, Chath, y-you got y-your dragon, h-huh? I-Is he w-well be-behaved, unlike K-Kei?" He chuckled slightly, hoping so.

He smiled brightly at the compliment. No one had said he looked nice in his costume that night, so it was good to know at least someone thought it. "T-th-" The boys speech was cut off as the loud rendition of his name broke the air. He quickly jerked his gazeint he direction in time to see his brother seemingly lunching at him from nowhere. Though unlike Emi he didn't raise his hands to shield the blow and stared blankly until he was knocked over by his brothers form.
Even though he'd probably have a new bruise on his cheek, and likely other places from the action he was grinning at his twin happily. Obviously he liked the costume too, he hadn't said anything bad about it yet. "L-lo! Y-your here?" He asked quickly, starting to pick himself up a bit. Even though he had wanted his brother there, he didn't want to ruin his pretty dress. Or... Oh dear his ribbon. His hands fled up to make sure it was still in place, and after a moment confirmed it to be fine. Good good.

---------- Time had passed since Alan rushed off, Nearly an hour now. and 35 minutes since the techs had followed. Seemed everything was allright. Then an explosion erupted throughout the building. Lights flickered, shot out immediately. The walls shook and bits of dust fell onto the guests remaining. Alarms started sounding as people fumbled. Darkness enveloped the room for what seemed the longest time in the confusion of the explosion and alarms. Until the generator kicked on, giving a loud "vrrrr" as it kicked on. Lights returned, and there was a brief moment of peace before the fire system kicked on and water sprayed down on the guests. Where as the two 'terrorists' were long gone from the building at that point, only aided by the power outage. Suddenly, people are rushing here and there, most of them to the stairways, the elevators are now out of order. If you were to go outside now, you would see why, as there is a gapping hole on the front of the building. But everyone seems to be fine... Talia soon emerges from the stairway, another tech carrying her towards the arms of the familiar kindergarten teacher, before turning to the crowd. She was a blonde, familiar to anyone who had been around the day Talia was "kidnapped" as 365. With a swallow, and an awkward shift, she started in with a cracking voice "Alan Rikery..." She starts slowly, gulping once. "Alan Rikery has been murdered, tonight, October 31st. 11pm..." Another deep breath was taken by Alan's assistant. "Along with several of the tech which sacrificed their lives in the explosion. May they all rest in peace." She finished abruptly, giving a wave of her hand, tears held back. "We ask everyone to evacuate the building now, incase there are any more dangers." With that, she stepped away and back to her work. ----------

"Keivlos, don--! " She tried her best to stop him, she really had, but Madeline's efforts were always fruitless when it came to controlling her child. He never listened to her. Did he listen to anyone for that matter? His brother...and sometimes he would pause long enough to intake the advice of some other poor child, anyone else though, it was hopeless.
Into a pile the three went, a big lump of wiggling limbs. He shouldn't have hurt the other children too horribly. Keivlos didn't weigh particularly much,--just a few bruises in the morning, it would be no more than that for the three of them. A crooked mask, a missing button, the boy appeared worse for the tare, but was as lively as ever. Like a skittish colt, he sat up, shrinking as far away as he could from the pretty white thing. Inside his little heart pounded, what was this feeling, uncertainty? Keivlos didn't know how to react around this girl, this pristinely decorated child, so what did he do?
A snap of his head towards his brother, "Reivie!" Back to the ground he tackled the little bird. At first it was all smiles from the bird, Keivlos hadn't seen his dear brother in what seemed to be forever. Smiles faded though, as eyes got a better glimpse at what his brother was wearing. "Revie?" This time a questioning tone came from Keivlos' lips, pushing himself away from his brother, he shot his brother an angry glare. "You look like, Revie..." a sniff inwards, along with a lick on the cheek, "taste like Revie...but why is brother in a dress? ...WHY DOES BROTHER LOOK LIKE A GIRL!? What happened to Revie?!" Quickly the child switched from clam, to down right crazy as he tugged upon the birds clothes.
The question however, was short lived--Madeline didn't waist any time in picking up her charge. As if the parent would keep her child in a place like this...murder afoot, of all things. An the moment Haru came to get Revon, the parents would be out the door.

And then there was chaos. The explosion sound and then the lights going out. Nibal gasped, clutching his father tightly. Peri wondered what had happened. Then the lights were back on and the man about to relax when they were suddenly drenched. The man groaned; the food was now unedible!
Peri looked over as one of the techs said something. Then his jaw dropped. "What?!" The boss dead? It couldn't be... even though the man had a sick and rather twisted sense of humor, he didn't deserve this... Numbly, Peri followed the crowd outside.
Nibal was blissfully unaware of what had happened, other than the scary sound and lights going out. But then water was spraying on him. It felt good. He liked that.

Nero's socializing was roughly forced to a hault when out of nowhere his guardian yanked him aside and was suddenly seeming to shelter him in his arms. Moments later, the lights were out and a dull roar filled the building whilst dust showered them. The scorpion sank back into his caretaker's arms and clenched all four of his eyes to a close, trembling as he waited for the world to stop shaking.. And soon, the lights returned with a low hum.
Axel continued to protectively hold onto his charge, eyes shifting about warily. He listened to the news he was given, and shook his head solemnly. Had he only been there, he might have been able to provide some assistance.. Oh well, Alan was a man he owed no favors. He let it go, for now, straightening up. "We're leaving." He announced to his child, who was still nestled against him. The boy did not protest, he simply waved to his friends as the older male hauled him outside. Murder... A chill filled his soul. He suddenly felt the strong need to talk to Simon. Maybe he'd try and call when he got home.. Probably not. He closed his eyes tightly.

Emi cried out as the three of them ended up in a pile and her hat was knocked off her head. Her pretty hat! Her SILK pretty hat! And in a sudden flurry, the other little thing was moving to tear at Revon's pretty clothes? Who WAS that? She searched her memory to see if she had seen him before and the memory of the park came flooding back. Tears, the yelling...
Anger filled the normally shy child and though she kept the unfamiliar emotion to herself rather well, her eyes narrowed slightly as she sat up and groped around for her hat.
"DON'T. Revon's dress is pretty," Emi said stubbornly, crossing her arms over her now-wrinkled dress. Her hat was slightly bent, too, which only added to the distasteful feeling.
She didn't like it - but she didn't know what it was, either. All she knew was that one friend (even though he scared her and made her want to cry, she didn't know what else to call the other raven) that had stolen Revon's face was attacking at her other friend - the one that she wasn't scared of.
However, the 'danger' didn't last long once Madeline stepped in and she took a deep breath, hand snapping out to help smooth out Revon's clothes. Her own could be worked out later. And still, the strange emotion of anger didn't fade.
How dare he.

Her indignancy was short lived, however, when the lights went out and everything went to chaos. Emi couldn't help but scream, especially at the shaking. The lack of lights, she could deal with. Khalindra liked the dark and thus she had had to get used to it. It was the explosions and the suddenness of the situation that got to her.
And thus, the swan child (unable to see her father in the dark) clung to the nearest person available. Keivlos.
Head was buried into him and tears pricked up into her eyes, "Save me!" she sobbed, certain they were going to die.
Aiden himself was going out of his mind. Where WAS Emi? Why were the lights off? WHAT THE ******** WERE THOSE EXPLOSIONS?
Calm. Calm down. Explosions generally meant injuries. Doctor nature battling with his own blind panic over his daughter, Aiden did the only thing he could think of doing as the lights came on.
"EMI?"
It seemed his father nature had won.

As the building shook Chath suddenly found a large shadow looming over him, and a clawed hand press down on his shoulder forcing him to the ground. Jayoku had come rushing as well using her body to sheild Zyanya.
Zyanya was scared, the building was shaking, where did Nero go? Her eyes captured the every detail of Keir leaping into a standing position and bolting towards them. At first Chath had reacted badly thinking his dragon had finally decided to eat him and had put out an arm in front of himself, but soon after behing knocked down and the shaking grew feirce and then finally fading away Chath realized that Keir...had tried to protect him.
Zyanya was crying into Jayoku's arms, she was so very confused, why was teh earth shaking? What was going on??? And then once the dust setteled a voice announced that someone named Alan had been murdered. Now Zyanya didn't understand these words, she she noted it down and would ask about it later. Still sniffling she pulled away slightly to see if she could spot Nero.
Chath had never even gotten a chance to answer Nero's question but he pushed Keir's clawed hand off his chest and scrambeled to his feet. A murder?? That was terrbile. Even if he never met the guy.

Orpheus starred in wide eyed shock at the announcement... Alan was... he shook his head and shook off the shock so that he could quickly gather his pair of children. Catching each of their hands to drag them away from what they had been doing at the time.
"D-Daddy...?" Ligeia whispered clinging to his father's arm, he didn't exactly know Alan, only ran across him a few times but he understood what it meant to die, it meant that the person was gone. Forever. He buried his face against his father's chest, just wanting to go now. His bag was dropped and forgotten.
Ter looked at his brother then over to his fallen back, breaking away from his father's hold long enough to grab Ligeia's candy. He may tease his brother a lot but he didn't want for other things to hurt him, only he was allowed... he then slithered quickly after his father, catching hold of his other hand so that he could keep up and not lose the other two memebers of his family as they headed out of the door. It was time to get going home, once the two boys were safely back there Orpheus wanted to try to see if he could figure out what was going on.

LaVey looked over at Lamiah, lifting an eyebrow at the announcement which meant very little to him, he didn't know the person and didn't really much have the biggest heart. He felt the same as if he had heard it on the news, nothing, "Come on then. I'm guessing this means the party is over."
Lamiah gave him a narrowed eyed look that clearly said that he was going to get an earful before she knelt down and gathered Valens into her arms, "Come on baby, we are gonna go home now and see all of the candy that you got." She told him, stroking back his hair that had gotten damp from when the water had started to fall on them. Good thing that he was to young to understand what was going on, she didn't want to explain it to him either. He was to young to hear that there was death.
LaVey wrapped an arm around the dark haired women to usher her along. This was a most interesting initiation into this 'D-Corp' wasn't it? A party, a murder, and a quick shove out the door.
