Ashori watched him anxiously, eyes upon his arm. And then she froze, blinking her eyes several times as she stared. The marking.. had disappeared? Her mouth was very slightly open, as she gazed blankly at his arm, snapping out of it only as he spoke again.

She glanced to Razzer's face in confusion, but sensed he was somewhat lost as well. She'd stopped biting her lip by now, and her arms had fallen limply to her sides. Her tail unwound from her waist and fell to flicking normally behind her as she dropped her gaze to the ground.

"O...kay..." she mumbled quietly, not really sure at all what had just happened. She shifted in place, hands fidgeting with the wet front of her dress, pulling it away from her only to have it cling back against her unhealthily thin stomach again. By doing this, she effectively distracted herself, but only for a few seconds.

She slowly looked back up at him again, tilting her head slightly so the black patch of hair fell back to cover the right side of her face, hiding the red eye and marking. "What was...?" she began, trailing off again as she recalled he'd just said he didn't know. "....nevermind." She didn't think to make fun of his current apparent weakness, not in this form anyway.

Shaking his head, Razzer stood up. Damn, Ashori had to see that. But...?

Walking to where the door out of the VR room was, he stepped up to the floating control panel. Looking at it for a moment, he punched a few buttons. Then a few more. The room temporarily vanished - placing both himself and Ashori back into the plain white room - but it immediately returned, and the courtyard looked completely unchanged. Stepping away from the control panel, Razzer walked past a stunned-looking Ashori and to the dojo. Sliding the doors open, he peeked inside.

Unbelievably, impossibly, the dojo had been restored to its previous serenity. The utterly destroyed walls and pipes had been replaced by fresh walls. The splintered support pillars were all full again, and the soggy and oversaturated carpet was dry and clean once more.

"That's better." Razzer said to himself. The dojo looked much better now that there wasn't gaping holes in the walls.

Ashori blinked a couple more times and then shook her head slowly, watching as he walked over towards the door. Her eyes followed carefully, just checking to make sure he really was alright. It probably seemed strange though... Just a few minutes ago she'd been dying to kill him. She hoped he didn't think this was an act or something.

She sighed to herself, but it cut off halfway through when the room suddenly disappeared into white. Her eyes widened moreso than any time previously as she stared around, mouth hanging open. She took a few steps towards the wall, intending to touch it, when she suddenly stopped short again.

The room had replaced itself with the image of the courtyard. Her head lifted, staring upwards to the sky. Then she very slowly turned her head, staring towards Razzer as he looked into the dojo. She peeked in from behind him, her eyes still wide. "So... so this is... virtual reality?" she asked quietly.

Micha slipped silently down the hall lined with VR rooms. It was hard to sneak up on a telepathic person, but she was doing her best to surprise Laurel. She could 'hear' Laurel, and slowly opened the door to her VR room. Laurel was faced away from the door, and didn't hear it open. Micha tiptoed up behind her, and covered her eyes. "Guess who," she whispered. Laurel whirled around, enveloping her sister in a huge hug. "You're back! How'd you manage to sneak up on me?" She squeeled in delight. "Nevermind, I don't care. You're back!" Micha giggled. "They just let me loose a little bit ago. An' I promise, I'm never gonna forget again!" She looked around curiously. "Gram's house? Why here?" Laurel shrugged. "I guess I'm...kinda homesick. An' I was so lonely while you were gone." They sat on a bench by the pond, and Micha turned so their foreheads were touching. *Never again. That was awful!* *Promise?* *Cross my heart.*

Kazuma got up. " This room isn't occupied." Kazuma said. He then seen a keypad with a card registration. " Hm...mabey i can use this card." Kazuma said as he took out his ID card and swipped it. The door opened. He walked in and seen the room was white and nothing was there. Then a control pad appeared out of no where.

"Please up in the type of terrain you want to use for this vurtial room." A voice called out.

Kazuma pressed the grassy terrain. The room's ground was grass like and it felt like real grass. He then pressed a few buttons and the area was the way he liked it. The area was grassy and it was more like a forest. There was a lake there too. " Computer, sumlate combat training." Kazuma called out. Then the voice replied, "Access granted." Then a bunch of enemiies appeared out of no where. " Level One Combat Traning." The voice called out. Kazuma took out his sword and kicked one of the simulation eneimes in the face. The enemy flew into the air and Kazuma threw his sword at it. He grabbed two other ones and threw them at a gang of enemies. The enemies disappeared and the voice said Comabat Level 2 Begin. It was odd but these eneimes where weak until Level 10. Level 10 hard. Kazuma was ganged up by people. His eyes turned red and his hair turned Crimson red. He transformed into his berserk form. He murdered the simulation eneimies until he got to level 15 when the enemies knocked him out. Then the Combat Simulation ended. Kazuma was wounded and beaten up badly. He just layed there on the ground knocked out.

The twins sat in the VR room for what felt like only a few minutes, but was really several hours. Finally, they were both starting to fall asleep. Micha shook herself, then poked Laurel. "Hey, sleepyhead. Wake up." Laurel groaned. "G'way, 'm tired." Micha giggled. Going over to the panel on the wall, she changed the garden into a cozy living room, with a huge couch and a window showing a starry sky framed by mountains. She tugged Laurel over to the couch, amazed that it felt real even though she knew it wasn't there. They curled up at either end of the couch, covering themselves with the blankets folded across the couch's arms. *G'night, Mi. Love you.* *Love you. G'night.* The two closed their eyes, and were asleep almost at once.

((Due apologies for taking so long. sweatdrop ))

Razzer felt Ashori breathing on his neck as they peered into the fixed dojo. "So... so this is... virtual reality?" she asked in a voice barely above a whisper. He nodded slowly.

"Unlike the outside world, where if something is damaged or destroyed it has to be repaired or replaced, the computer can just revert the virtual reality simulation back to what it was before the destruction happened." Razzer explained. That would explain why the whole simulation had vanished for a moment - the computer had to erase it to make way for the original version of the room. Virtual reality technology was an amazing invention, it really was.

"The only thing it can't replace is it's human occupants - all our injuries are real."

[It's ok. My dad didn't even let me get on today until just now. ^^;;]

Ashori blinked, tilting her head very slightly as he replied and she took everything in. It was pretty hard to believe, especially for one who was still amazed by cars. But then she nodded her head and glanced at her newly bandaged arm before staring towards the ground.

If it wasn't real, then why was it the walls of the dojo had felt firm? Or she could feel the wet bamboo carpet beneath her feet? And the water... She frowned to herself, thinking something over, before slowly glancing back up at Razzer. She hesitated a moment, shifting anxiously in place, before finally deciding to speak.

"So I... could design a world? Anything I wanted?" She paused, glancing around the area and then looking back at him again. "Even... even people? Would they feel real?" She watched him steadily through her blue eye, the black hidden behind her hair again, as she nervously awaited a reply. Her right hand lifted to clutch at a silver necklace she wore. It showed two wings, mismatched like her own, intertwined. Where they met, her name was written in script, small and somewhat hard to notice.

Ashori inquired about making a virtual reality. "Even... even people?" she asked. Razzer considered this for a moment, and nodded.

"In theory, yes. You can program the computer to place virtual people into your virtual reality. But they will only be based on your imagination and memory, so they'll only feel as real as you make them." He smiled, thinking about how this knowledge could go to use. "Heh," he chuckled, "I suppose one could even create an entire planet filled with citizens that they could rule over... but I imagine that it would take quite a long time to make!"

It was true - if one had the time, they could probably make their own planet. It definately wouldn't be earth-sized, but it could be pretty sizeable. Maybe I should do something of that nature... Razzer thought to himself, but shot it down. Nah, I don't have that kind of time. And besides - I might never want to go back to the real world!

Ashori considered his words for a moment, staring down at the ground. "Or a different world...?" she asked again, but didn't really expect an answer this time. She sighed to herself, shifting in place. It would be almost impossible for her to do so. The only bits she remembered of home were just snatches from various dreams she'd had. The same went for memories of her parents. They were all gone except for bits of dreams.

She tugged again at her wet dress, watching as it clung right back to her starved stomach. Then she closed her eyes, bowing her head to the ground. "This place could be pretty addicting, couldn't it." Again she didn't really expect an answer. She was very tempted to try recreating her home, but it probably wouldn't work out very well, and it would also hinder her search for the real one, if she just stayed here all the time.

Razzer examined her facial expressions as she replied. She seemed to be thinking deeply (Did it hurt?) while she spoke. Ashori tugged at her dress and closed her eyes. "This place could be pretty addicting, couldn't it." she asked rhetorically.

"You're looking for somewhere, aren't you?" Razzer observed. "A home? A place of some importance?" he studied her face again... "If you're trying to find it... whatever it is... it may be easier when you recreate it virtually. Sometimes seeing something - maybe only a part of something - will help you remember the other pieces." He shook his head. "But you don't have to answer that. I'm poking and prodding."

But he felt like he was right. Someone who was just curious wouldn't look so lost in thought... Ashori had to be looking for something special.

Ashori's eyes opened again as she slowly looked up at him. That made sense... if she made parts, maybe the rest would slowly come back to her? She sighed again, staring towards the dojo he'd created. "I am, yes..." she murmured quietly. "I was kicked out of one place, but I'm trying to return to another. I think... they erased my memory when I was made to leave."

She frowned to herself, fists clenching for a couple seconds before loosening again. There was no use in getting angry over it anymore. That wouldn't change anything. She took a deep breath and looked back at Razzer. "Is it difficult to make one?" she asked nervously. She really didn't have any experience with technology, even though she'd been wandering for a year.

Ashori opened her eyes and looked at him, something dawning over her as she processed what Razzer had said. She murmured that her memory was erased... that was new to Razzer. He kept his mouth shut, but he made a mental note to look at her profile in the Records Room when he got out of the VR. Ashori frowned for a second before taking a deep breath and looking at Razzer again.

"Is it difficult to make one?" she asked, her voice wavering. So.. she was seriously considering it...

The mage shook his head. "If you follow the tutorial it'll tell you all you need to know to make your VR. Here, look." He slipped past Ashori and strode towards the door and floating panel. With a press of a button he shut off his VR. All the beauty of his VR - the cherry trees, the dojo, the blossoms raining down - vanished, replaced by the plain whiteness of the empty room. Pulling his Student ID from the panel, he stepped out of the way.

"Just put your student card in there." he said to Ashori, indicating to the slot in the panel. Then the computer will say that there's no previous memory of a VR used by you, and ask if you want to see the tutorial." he smiled. "Just hit yes and follow along."

Ashori watched him silently, turning as he swept past her. She hesitated a moment, and then slowly followed after him, stopping again when the grass disappeared from under her feet. She stared at it a moment and then gazed around the room, closing her eyes as she noticed everything had disappeared. She didn't think she'd ever get used to that.

She sighed to herself, tucking her wings more firmly against her back as she resumed following him again. She kept her eyes on the floor, thinking over what she was doing. She really wanted to figure things out, but didn't really want it to make her feel even more homesick...

She snapped out of it and looked up at Razzer as he spoke, coming to a halt a bit to one side. She watched carefully when he removed his card and slipped her hand into a pouch on her belt, slipping out her own. Staring at it for a moment, she listened to his instructions, noting after a moment he'd moved out of the way. "Am I... trying mine now?" she asked uncertainly. "I shouldn't get another room?"

Ashori followed Razzer, looking slightly surprised as the virtual reality vanished around them. As Razzer put his card away, she took hers out from a pouch on her waist. "Am I... trying mine now?" she asked. "I shouldn't get another room?" Razzer shook his head.

"Well, if you want to create it now. But you don't have to get another room. I'll be leaving. If you need to figure things out, I'll let you figure them out without me here to pester you." he nodded and made the motion of tipping his hat, though he had none on his head of course.

"So yeah, just follow the tutorial." he instructed. "It's actually quite straightforward. Yeah.. well, it was nice fighting you, Ashori. Good luck with figuring out whatever it is you need to figure out..."

Before awaiting a reply, Razzer pushed another button on the panel. The doors beside the panel slid open, revealing the hallway outside. He stepped through the doors and they slid shut behind him. The display screen outside now read, "In Use." He smiled and set off down the hall.
