Her eyes followed the cub who moved into the tall grass which had begun to yellow due to the lack of rain. Several thoughts ran through her mind for a few moments before she glanced at Wingu as the other lioness spoke. She rose to her paws and slipped into the yellowing grass, but not to follow Wingu, but the cub. The scent of the little grey female was easy enough to follow and soon found the little one. With the arrogance this one had, she could only think of one way of getting her to actually talk to her.
Slipping up quietly behind the little one she followed her for a little while, making no noise and quite glad the wind was favoring her and blowing at her from in front, her scent was blowing in the exact opposite way than the cub. Finally deciding it was time, she leapt up and quickly snatched the cub up by the scruff of her neck and carried her out of the tall grass and to a run down tree that lay rotting in the middle of the plain. She plopped the cub down on the log and sat down in front of her.

A golden ear flicked backwards. Wingu heard the grasses rustle behind her, and figured Kimondo would rather not come. She sped up to a run, quickly leaving the watering hole behind her as she trodded through tall, grassy areas searching for a meal.
((Haha, I'm taking Dust's lead and leaving as well. I gotsa get up early tomorrow...so what does that mean? Go to bed early, der! XP Tis my last post, Wingu's off hunting. I'll see all you guys later! heart ))

Azizi trumbled towards an adult lioness in the pride..she purred and curled beside the dark pelt feline,begging for food/milk..Although in this stage,she still suckled sometimes if there was no hunting occuring in the pride..
Azizi tagged on the adult's tail,she stalked and pounced on it...
It looked like a fun game to her but when times come,it would be very useful when she was old enough to join the hunteress to hunt..

Azizi tagged on the adult's tail,she lowered and crawl onto the ground..stalking...her eyes focused on the batting tail,with a quick leap,she pounced towards it...
It looked like a fun game to her but when times come,it would be very useful when she was old enough to join the hunteress to hunt..

*sensing no success whatsoever of waking her mommy up, simba drops back into his warm cradle, tired and totally spent. he gives a little sulky squeak, then he stretches out all his four legs into the air, his tail swishing abit. simba snuggles down further into mommy's cradle, and turning slightly towards her, he burrows his head deep into mommy's neck. her fur feels extremely warm and comfortably soft. impulsively, simba gives the fur a little wet lick. he likes the warm, supple feeling of mommy's neck, and coupled with her comforting scent, little simba feels like his in heaven. just then, a light breeze blows by, caressing simba's fur. shivering abit, he burrows in deeper until mommy's neck until the her almost envelops his tiny head. simba feels his eyes drooping heavily from the morning's exertions like weights, and at the same time the breeze sings gently into his ears. giving in finally, the little prince closes his eyes, gives a contented little sigh, and drops back to sleep.*

[Wingu put on a stern smile. Labelled so, for the grin didn't reach her eyes. It never really did these days. There were so many things in the way, so many walls that needed to be breached before the smile ever could play into the dandelion fires of Wingu's eye. Instead, she flicked her tail, a habit Maawio seemed to have picked up for herself. "Well, I'm done with you for now..." She wasn't quite sure of how to approach kindness after she had just been so strict only moments before. "Have you eaten?" the lioness asked, making sure the cub wasn't starving herself. She hadn't learned to hunt, afterall.]))
Maawio shook her head slightly, daring herself to peer up in the glittering yellow of her mother's eyes. "N-no," she stammered. She hadn't eatten since quite a while before the birthing, and now that Wingu mentioned it, her stomach began to growl.

"I better get to hunting..." Mwinda murmured to no one in particular, walking aimlessly through the plains.
Her brown eyes scanned the area for any sign of a herd, her eyebrows furrowing slightly in determination.

Mwinda's head turned around, seeing a grey blur bound towards her. A small smile crept upon her lips when she noticed the familiar patterns upon the pelt like that cub she had spoken to earlier.
