((Yeah, guys. If I find that literacy is going to be a problem with someone then I will not allow them to RP, because I'm just mean like that xp . A couple spelling and grammar mistakes are fine but if it's to an outrageous extent then I will call you on it. Please, no computer talk (i.e. plz, jk, ppl, etc.) either.))

Wynter didn’t remember too much from the flume ride. She was so dazed and confused that she could barely take anything else into her overcrowded mind. The flume seemed slightly soothing which helped with her guilt for leaving Jet, but he wasn’t helping. She tried to look for things that were mentioned in the journals when she thought everything’s in those journals, there’s nothing to find.

She soon heard the music notes get louder and louder as the flume began to end. She put her arms up over her face to shield her eyes from the bright light and when she took them away she was back on her feet facing the mouth of the flume.

“Oh dang . . .” she said out loud. She heard a noise behind her and whipped around. Before her stood a boy much taller than her with dark hair.

“Crap . . .” She murmured, “Ah, you didn’t see anything! . . . did you?”

Auburn stood there with his jaw hanging open looking at the person who just appeared from the door. It was like magic. One problem, Auburn didn't believe in magic, but this wasn't helping his beliefs. He just stood staring at the girl who just came through. She was much shorter than him, that was clear. There was something very different from her though... she didn't seem like she was from this time. Her clothes didn't seem like they even belonged. He quickly stopped analyzing her when he heard a bang at the door. The dogs... he ran to the door while dragging along his bad arm. He put his back against the wall and planted his feet still. Bam, bam, bam! Auburn bounced back and forth from the constant ramming of the door. He didn't know what to do right now and was far beyond confused. He was scared, confused, a little bit happy, and scared. First of all, there was a girl who came out of nowhere and then all of a sudden the huge lethal looking dogs were back. He wanted to just give up and see what would happened, but that wasn't in his personality. He stood firm and then looked back to the girl. Mabye he could get some answers from her.

"Who the hell are you, how did you get here, and why are you here!?" he said in a harsh tone. There were two reasons for this, one was that he was pissed at all that happened just to get a little adventure and second was that his voice was a bit messed up from yelling in pain. He stared her in the eyes with glaring eyes.

ooc//wow! that took a heck of a lot longer to read than I thought. I seriously need to be more active... sweatdrop -cough- anyways... n.n//

Celiene and Caesar made their way up the mountain, with surprisingly little quig attacks. The most were at the lower part of the mountain; closer to the village. Celiene just stuck with using the whistle. It was rather effective, and she just didn't want to use her spear. There wasn't a true need, and taking lives wasn't a hobby. So she and Caesar settled with the whistles and hiked on, neither making true attempts to conversation.

Finally at the top, Celiene desperately searches. Caesar sits on a craggy rock, looking doubtful. Celiene whacks him with her hat again. He looked up at her as if to say, what? I came here, didn't I?
"Just help look," Celiene said in return.
With a shrug, Caesar stood up. He walked toward a cold, damp cavern. Poking his head around, he saw it was perfectly normal, no flash of lights, nothing---except for a crudely carved star on the far wall.
All the color drained from his face.
Celiene strolled by. "Anything?" she asked breifly, still refusing to make eye-contact.
Caesar didn't answer.
"Hellooo?" Celiene asked, then looked in herself.
Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. "See?" she shouted. "It's here, I told you it would be! Father wouldn't lie, I knew it, I knew it..." she stopped. Caesar was staring at the ground. Celiene whacked him on the head again with her hat. "C'mon, it's okay, just admit I'm right," she broke into a playful smile.
But when Caesar looked up, he was nothing but smileing. He looked as if he were to cry, if Caesar was a cryer.
"Caesar!" Celiene said in alarm. "What's wrong?" after she said it, she realized how stupid that was--confirming there's an evil-doer out to kill your territory wasn't a great comforter.
"Well," he said quietly. "You're leaving then, aren't you?"
Celiene looked puzzled. "Huh?"
"Well, duh! You're then next Traveler. So go."
"But--y'know--Caesar..." she sat down cross-legged on a craggy rock next to him. For a moment, she couldn't find the right words, and they sat there in awkward silence.
"I'll let you be my acylote," she finally said, as if she were offering to throw him a party.
"Gee, thanks," he said sarcastically in return. It was obvious Celiene didn't have anyone but Caesar anyways.
"I'll write to you?" Celiene said in a question, asking if it made the standards better.
"Special." he turned away.
"Well, do I have a choice?"
He sighed. "I guess not..."
"I don't want to leave."
"You don't?"
Another whack from the hat. "You mad? Heck, no! Risk my life to save Halla, for what? I'd like my life to stay, thank you very much."
He smiled. "But...promise me something."
"Sure. Anything."
"Y'know how your father wrote about Bobby...how he had Courtney, but then he met Loor, and...y'know..."
Celiene stared at him in shock. "What're you saying?" she asked, playing dumb.
"Don't...do that," he said weakly, meeting her eyes directly for the first time that day.
"I won't," Celiene said back, and held him in a tight, quick hug.
She surprised the both of them when she gave Caesar a quick peck on the cheek. He looked at her for a moment, a puzzled smile growing on his face.
"I'll see you soon," Celiene said, a tear forming in her eye, because she knew both of them knew it wasn't true, it was just a flimsy lie to hold on to so they wouldn't loose hope.
"Sure," he said vageuly in reply.
With that, she opened the door to the flume, just below the star, and gazed at the craggy rock.
"Third Earth!" Celiene shouted, just before the musical notes carried her away.

ooc//is third earth okay? I just needed somewhere to go...lol XD//

((YEah, third Earth is fine! Pete's taking me to the flume... now actually! I'll meet you there.))

Kira called her grandmother and said that Pete would take her home. It was the truth. But first, they headed towards the flume.

"It was actually pretty scary, the first time I went there," Pete was telling her. "I was afraid of getting hit by a train, but it never happened. Then one day, I come back, to check the flume and lay out some new clothes, I found your father, lying there." Silence filled the car, and it stayed that way until they reached the station.

He parked, and they entered the underground mall. It was mostly empty, but the train was still running; it never stopped. They entered, and he pointed to her the tunnel that lead to another sub station.

Pete led her to the the tunnel, and pointed. "The door is right down there. Follow me, and watch out for the quigs." Pete discretely slipped down into the tunnel, and Kira had no choise but to follow. What if he's leading me into a trap? Kira thought, but pushed it to the back of her mind. She walked as close to the wall as she possibly could, and slowly, her fathers ring began glowing, brighter and brighter the further they went.

Pete grabbed a doornob and pulled it open just as Kira heard a train coming down the tracks. "Pete!" she whispered urgently. Pete gestured for her to follow. She sprinted to the door and ducked inside it. Pete slammed the door, and they heard the train whoosh past.

"We could have been killed!" Kira shouted at Pete, who held his hand up to her, motioning for her to be quiet. He pointed to one of the walls, which was glowing, like her ring. The glow grew brighter and brighter, until it was nearly blinding. IT was accompanied by a jumble of loud musical notes. Kira sheilded her eyes, but first she noticed a figure's shadow in the bright glow.

hezex had stoped crying a long time ago, & was now just trying to sort things out.

the door opend & a boy enterd, he was prety tall but not as tall as hezex.
just then the flume came to life "not agian" he siad, whail backing into a corne & crouchd down thinking mybe he could fight off what ever was coming.

much to his surpise this time the flume didnt pick him up, but insted dropd somone else off he imidietly relized two things,
1.)that it was a girl
2.)she didnt relize he was their, & he was going to keep it that way. at laest untill i know wether shes friend or fo. he didnt know how hed be able to tell but he thout he would be.

the two began to talk
it was clear from there conversation, that they did not know each other. & were just as confused, as he was, or close.
which odly engoph made him feel alot better. at least im not the only one in the dark. he thught

in all that had happend he hadn't noticed the banging on the door.
as soon as he did he ran over to the door, & leand agenst it. for in his experence, anything that was trying to get in a room that hard, you did not want in the same room with you.

"ok not that i think you do. but dose anyone know whats going on here???" he asked, whail putinng all his whait agenst the door.

Celiene rather enjoyed the flume ride, it was definetly the most amazing experience she'd ever had. It was a great time to help her collect her thoughts. She was par-ready to arrive in a whole 'nother world, but wasn't exactly sure what was in this whole world. After all, she had been told about Second Earth, not Third. But her father had told her all the names of the territories he knew of, and Third Earth seemed like the best choice to travel to.

As the music grew fainter, Celiene could see the ride coming to an end. She braced herself, because she remembered her father telling her he had almost fell when he came out of the flume, and who knew what was waiting for her at the other side? Tensing her arms and legs, she was dropped off in a small, crudely shaped room.

With two other people.

"Neh!" Celiene uttered a soft cry of surprise. She let her eyes adjust to the light before saying an actual statement. It didn't look like she was in much danger, there was a girl about her age and a man that was old enough to be her father. They didn't look much alike though, so she figured it was an uncle of some sort.

"Um..." Celiene started. "Well, isn't this just awkward.." she had half a mind to jump back into the flume to see Caesar again, but she swallowed that thought and resisted the urge.

Kira let down her arms. A girl stood in front of her, wearing... furs? She said something, that Kira didn't understand. She was too shocked at the girls appearance to pay attention to what she said. IT looked as though her fathers journals of Travelers were true. Kira looked to Pete, who shrugged. "Hi. I'm Kira... I guess I'm from Third Earth." She held out her hand for the girl to take.
