Well, with a bit of discussion, we're gonna factor in 4x weakness, which mean poke'mon like Wingull and Gyrados will take 4 times the damage from electric attacks. Please refer to this link to know what poke'mon is weak versus what type and is resistant to. http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/925601/48249

Big Update people!
Legendaries are being released in a form of riddles! Can you solve them? Please note that these are being randomly generated. And mods cannot participate for a bit. So that's good news! (Though not for us. =P)
However, these will be posted and you must be the first to solve them!
Note you may not participate for a while once you get a legendary.
These are the basics, the full details will be posted later tonight or tomorrow.

Yay! We fixed some bugs in the Hoenn region. =] They were most likely slip ups on my part and I'm sorry guys! =/
1) We've add 2 new areas for ya to explore: Shoal Cave and Fiery Path. Both of these contain exclusive poke'mon, so please be sure to visit them at some point. 2) Spoink and Beldum are now available too. Spoink was added to the Lavaridge dice roll system and Beldum was added to Iron Mountain (kinda sinnoh-y type news, but meh. It's a Hoenn poke'mon). 3) Zangoose was added into the Fallarbor thread. He's only available there too, so if you like him, go and get one. Though you might be there a while. It's only a 5% chance. 4) Petalburgh Woods now has a dice system of its own. We were missing two poke'mon and they've been added there. Enjoy! 5) Lastly, due to error on my part, I lost the sheet of paper that had how to get all the HMs on it.. so I didn't even realize that HM04 and HM05 weren't in Hoenn. They've been added now. Note Strength is in Rusturf Tunnel and Flash is in Granite Cave. Happy hunting!
Tell us of any more bugs in this region and we'll make sure to fix 'em. And we're gonna get the rest of them fixed too. Most likely tomorrow, so have fun guys.

Ok guys, just a small update this time. WE've noticed that a few Staple Grass type moves have been overly nerfed and we've fixed them. Mega/Giga Drain and leaf Blade have had their damage bumped up to more respectable levels so if you have any Pokemon tat know these moves, be sure to look up their new damage and correct it.

Alrighty guys, I just wanted to let ya'll know something about the breeding center. I looked over the rules of the daycare(s) and well, there's a bit of a loop hole in the rules. When you use it, you may only place 2 poke'mon in the center, and they will gain levels for the first four days only, then you have to wait 7 days more till you can place them in there again. Well, the loop hole is only when you have to wait to put the poke'mon that were previously in the daycare, back in. Therefore, you can place other poke'mon in there, just not the two that were in there previously. Make sense? Here's an example:
I place Spheal & Trapinch in on April 24, and pick them up May 5th. Now they cannot go into the center until May 13th.
I can still place other poke'mon in the daycare. Just not the Spheal or Trapinch.
Hope this makes life easier. ^^

Woot, two more updates. We're getting closer to finishing all the bugs in the system.
First off, we now have Honey Tree poke'mon. Which means, that if you want one of the poke'mon available from there, you now can get them. In each of the forests, Viridian, Ilex, Petalburgh, and Eterna, you will find, in the first post, a dice system for the Honey Trees. Follow those instructions and you'll be fine.
Also, the Honey is now an item, though we do lack a sprite at the moment.
Our second update deals with the breeding center. You may place 2 poke'mon in any given center, even if you are currently using one. So, you now can raise EIGHT poke'mon instead of the two previously. Though you CANNOT place two poke'mon in one daycare and then put them in another one. You still have to wait 7 days from when you picked them up, to put them into a daycare again.
If you have any questions, feel free to pm a moderator.

Exp gained from beating the Pokemon instead of catching it: Lv. 2-4 give 3 Lv. 5-9 give 5 Lv. 10-14 give 6 Lv. 15-18 give 8 Lv. 20-25 give 9 Lv. 26-31 give 11 Lv. 32-36 give 13 Lv. 37-43 give 15 Lv. 44-50 give 16 Lv. 51+ give 20
Okay, I fixed my own exp chart, because I'm a bit lazy. =P It's easier to make the wild poke'mon this way. I edited the bolded parts. =3

After a bit of negotiations with the gym leaders in the region, Kanto has decided to re-open their gyms for re-challenges. Hopefully with their decision, the other regions will be close to follow. However, trainers must have had challenged them for their badge first, before they are able to re-challenge a leader. It is a good chance to get some more experience for their Pokemon, and a great way to test your skills. Rematches will have much stronger Pokemon, so be forewarned. It is highly recommended that you gather a few higher badges before returning for a rematch.

Well, something that's been bugging all the rpers in the guild since this place has been opened is now finally here. Yes, folks, we now have the Safari Zones released! There are specific rules that are associated with them, so please, please, read the first post to familiarize yourselves with the rules. It's imperative to know that they are set up almost exactly like the games, however, you cannot fish or surf. There are poke'mon, like the games, that only appear in the Safari Zone, so get acquainted with what appears where. Most importantly have fun and happy hunting! Please note that since Feebas is available, you'll have to evolve it to get Milotic, so we've come up with a way to do so. This is quoted from the Guild Rules. mystikdreamer 8. FeebasFeebas is different. You must have a Beauty Ribbon to evolve this Poke'mon. You may obtain it in Floaroma town by posting 30 times. Please note that you will have to start over if you leave Floaroma.

Hey guys, this is a small update, we've got two little things we'd like to let you in on.
1). Draco Meteor. The all encompassing Dragon type attack is now available. Only Dragon Type Pokemon may learn this move when they reach Lv. 100. Pseudo Dragons such as Gyarados and Charizard are unable to learn this move.
2). Members who do not have a Johto Starter now have some reason besides Experience to challenge the Eevee Goddesses in Ecruteak. Members without a Johto Starter will recieve an Obsidian Flute for defeating the Goddesses. The Obsidian Flute is a one time use item that makes a single Pokemon from a different Region or an uncatchable Pokemon appear for the user. Evolved Pokemon appear at Level 5, same as unevolved ones. The Goddesses can be challenged for the flute up to 5 times, once every 500 posts. Members must let a Mod know when they use their Flute so that the use can be monitored and the item is not abused. Members with a Johto Starter are able to recieve the Flute after recieving Surf from the Goddesses.
This item cannot be used to make Eevees or Legendaries appear. That should go without saying but I thought I'd leave a reminder just to make sure.

I've changed the moves, Light Screen, Barrier, and Reflect to something much better. =) Light Screen and Reflect now reduce damage by 30 and that's all types, since we don't deal with special or physical attacks. Barrier reduces damage by 50 and once again, it's all types.
Also, here's the finished hp chart. Please note that in order to reach the cap in hp I had to adjust a certain part of the chart so that we could have poke'mon with 800hp. That part is in bold.
HP: Level 1-4~ 30hp Level 5-6~ 40hp Level 7-8~ 50hp Level 9-10~ 70hp Level 11-12~ 90hp Level 13-14~ 100hp Level 15-16~ 120hp Level 17-18~ 130hp Level 19-20~ 150hp Level 21-22~ 170hp Level 23-24~ 180hp Level 25-26~ 200hp Level 27-28~ 210hp Level 29-30~ 230hp Level 31-32~ 250hp Level 33-34~ 260hp Level 35-36~ 280hp Level 37-38~ 290hp Level 39-40~ 300hp Level 41-42~ 320hp Level 43-44~ 330hp Level 45-46~ 340hp Level 47-48~ 360hp Level 49-50~ 380hp Level 51-52~ 390hp Level 53-54~ 410hp Level 55-56~ 420hp Level 57-58~ 440hp Level 59-60~ 460hp Level 61-62~ 470hp Level 63-64~ 490hp Level 65-66~ 500hp Level 67-68~ 520hp Level 69-70~ 530hp Level 71-72~ 550hp Level 73-74~ 570hp Level 75-76~ 600hp Level 77-78~ 620hp Level 79-80~ 630hp Level 81-82~ 650hp Level 83-84~ 660hp Level 85-86~ 680hp Level 87-88~ 690hp Level 89-90~ 710hp Level 91-92~ 720hp Level 93-94~ 740hp Level 95-96~ 750hp Level 97-98~ 770hp Level 99~ 780hp Level 100~ 800hp

This isn't so much a change as an Update guys. I'm going through the Members list and compiling a list of all of our members who don't have a single post yet.
Those with less that 100 I'm going to look into and if I find that their last post was made more than 6 months ago, I'll contact those users and let them know that if they aren't going to be active that I'm in the process of cleaning out the Members list of inactive members.
7 days from today, I'm going to check again and if nothing has changed on those Members' Posts counts, I'm going to start banning them to clean out the old and make room for what I hope will be the new. Maybe when we get to where it doesn't seem like there's less than a dozen of us actually here out of 300, people might want to join and start RPing with us hopefully.

Just kind of a rule that's already been unofficially in effect, but was never added in to the status problems post. This is fixed now.
Toxic poisoning is different than regular poisoning, as in the games.
Regular poison -10 per turn.
Toxic works differently. It starts out at -10, however, each turn, the damage doubles unless healed by an Antidote, Full Heal, etc.
So turn 1: -10 Turn 2: -20 Turn 3: -40 etc.
