catastrophe_fury Cloud loved them both. He seemed to like Aeirs right off and apparently loved her right up there to her death and even after. However, it goes to show when he tells everyone to find their reason to fight that he and Tifa have feelings for each other, as they talk beneath the Highwind Tifa reveals feelings to Cloud... sort of. But the Highwind scene is one of those scenes highly dependant on the player. Just look into some of the other threads related to Tifa. You'll get the whole shpele from myself, Strawberrie, or amythrian.

Probably Aeris. He seemed only to like Tifa in a friendship kind of way. And I think we can pretty much rule out Yuffie...

I think it was Tifa. Cloud did get attached to Aeris, but it seemed like more of a protective guardian thing to me. I did, however, get Tifa's date scene-- maybe Aeris' date scene would've changed my mind *cough*not likely*cough*.
I am a strong VincentxTifa, though, so I'm not really a huge fan of CloudxTifa, anyway.

I believe he loved Tiff, it just took him a while to realize it. Although he was no doubt attracted to Aeris, he always loved Tiffa.

I'm pretty sure he loved Aeris, seeing as how he confessed that in words right after she died. Even though Cloud and Tifa knew each other longer, and Tifa was indeed having feelings for him, he wasnt in love with her. To him, I agree, their relationship was more like a brother to a sister. Another clue is that, in the game Kingdom Hearts, Cloud was looking for Aerith(Aeris) and not Tifa. If it were the other way around, they might have had Tifa in her place, but it didnt turn out that way. ninja

Sure Cloud had an attraction to Aeris, but there was a different sort of connection with Tifa. I mean, from whose memories did he come from? Even if his mom did say that he should get together with an older girl, I think Tifa was more of the girl for Cloud than Aeris could be.

O_o I personally have a belief: The man must always be taller and older or it'll never work! ...Of course, I get proved wrong time and time again, but, hey, it works here. :3

He has to like Aeris more, cuz of her death scene. He was all sad as if he deeply cared for her.
