"We are going to the generator room."
He waved the guard actions away, knowing that he could handle himself if nessisary. So could Rose for that matter.

"Well, I still like makeing sure a room a is clear, after seeing what I saw, it would probly still be smart. I'll be sure nothing is following behind. Wouldn't you agree?" He continued to clear rooms as they went on, but he didn't make Rasa or Rose wait.

((Nothing will pop out till a couple of "Days" later. Till then, relax.))
"Fine with me. Your just doing your job after all."
Rasa shrugged and headed forwards, his own hand resting near his sidearm.

((I'm just acting like a marine would, going by protacall, but I'll lay off a little.))
"How far are we from the generator room?" He had slowly stoped completly clearing each room. The chances the thing that had done the deed was still there.

"A couple of meters. Rose. How old did that body look like to you?"
"A couple of decades, at least. Maybe around fourty years on how long the bones had been cracked. Maybe more."
She spoke thus as she offered her oppinion.

Howie just continued walking. He walked over a arrow that said power room and soon found a door that said "Power Room", but the slideing doors didn't slide open. "Sir doors are jamed or power isn't makeing it to them."

"Right. Mala? Anything yet?"
-Nothing quite yet Rasa. From what I can tell, the generator has been blown. Not much else other than that.-
He had ordered her to launch a couple of camera drones to survey the surounding area as well as a couple inside the base. They were about the size of a basket ball, and easy to use too.
"Well, s**t. We can either blow the door open. Or melt it down."

"I'm currently out of C-9."
This was Rose as she shrugged. Rasa shook his head and slipped out a single small handle and jammed it into the door's hinges. It lit, and he started to move it down, a single knife-like blade of energy spearing through the metal easily.

"Yup. I took it off of a scientist of the covenant. Its come in handy since then."
He smiled and continued his work, slicing through the metal with his energy blade. The door soon clunked, and slid open, though slightly hung, as it's lock was cut.
He said nothing else as he entered the room and saw three more bodies, each sliced up the spine and layed open, their ribs broken. These weren't bleached, and they still had some tatteres of clothing on them.
"Great. More of these things."

"Oh just wounderful."
Howie fliped on his COM and said
We need another team in the generater room, we've found more bodies.
He fliped off the COM and crouched down and took a look at the corpses.
"Same as all the others. These bodies don't look as old though."

"Yeah... not as much bleaching or decomp. Although... they still are really old."
~~~
Deep underground, two more sets of eyes lit up, further iluminating the area around them. It was a small space, lined with row after row of tubes, about a hundred in all. Several were cracked, their inhabitents dead long ago. The rest were resting peacefully.
The group of five small creatures, each about the size of a large turky, gathered around a small screen, just right for their size.
-What are they?-
The screen was tuned to the human ships now lining the landing pad. A large number of pelicans, plus one much larger ship that dominated the field.
-Are these the glorious humans?-
"Agreed."
As they came in, a small drone of the Valkyrie Rose flew in, on its path to create an up to date map of the building for the ground crews. Mala, their AI, took control of it for the moment and guided it over the bones.
-Interesting. Looks almost surgical, these cuts. The ends of the bones are blackened, like they were scorched. But... whatever did this was not flame. That would leave far more cracking than this. Energy perhaps?-
"Sounds logical."
This was Mala and Rose speaking as Rasa headed over for the generator, opening the side panel and finding a small fragment of orange armor, wedged in the hatch. He took it and pocketed it, for a more personal analasis later.
