"Gear get down off of there!" He shouted into his radio. "The chopper will be here any minute now, and you are an easy target." He strafed his way into the stairwell were the rest of the team was. "Which ever stairwell we choose let me open the door, if they have an ambush waiting for us my bunker shield should be able to take most of the enemy fire. Everyone stay back out of the stairwell and cover me."

((That I am, that I am. I think we messed up a bit, the tripwire was at the entrance to the stairwell, at that door.))
He edges up to the door, and pushes the door open with his bunker shield. The claymore explodes, knocking him back into Takashi. Slightly wounding his legs, but completely decimating his shield. Though slighty shaken, he instinctively drew his 38.

When the Explosion occurred all of the soldiers spun for the door. 2 of them fired upon whirling, spattering the frame and the metal door with rounds. The door, though metal, was not nearly equal to the task of providing cover for the militia. It quickly began to fill with holes.

Takashi lifted Byte up onto his feet and sprayed with his G36 into the area. "You alright, Private?" He looks over at him.

They already used a claymore in there, so Im assuming there isnt any biohazardous materials close by. Now what I saw from the blue prints at the end of the hall that the enemy is in there is a breakoff point where it goes into two separate sections, so dont wander too far down without some backup."-

Private Byte finally came out of his daze. "Yes, I'm all right. My shield is completely demolished, though." He stumbled to his feet and drew his XM29 OICW.

He pulls the trgger taking the other gunner, then ducks behind a wall as a third baddie takes aim at him. "Are we allowed to use explosives now?" hearing the clink of a grenade from inside he leaps of his perch in case it's near him. "Can I take that as yes?!

He stumble strafed sideways backing up Gear. "Negative." He confirmed. "Only to be used to take down a reinforced door, that can't be broken into otherwise..."
