Ra smiled, his hand absently caresing her smooth skin.
"Ten years? so ... twenty eight." He thought for a few moments in silence watching her all the time witha little smirk at the use of his nickname in english.
"Well on my way do a strong medical career, hopefully having traveled a little I'd be looking to settle down properly I think." He gave a small laugh and flushed a little. "I always thought I would like kids before I am thirty five." He shrugged and smiled. "It's a bit sensible but I like to play realist with my future. How about you? Where do you see yourself?"

Obie had to think for a moment. She used to have that answer down perfectly, but a few things had changed recently and her original answer didn't satisfy her anymore.
"Hm... this would be where I would say working in a lab, living alone in an apartment in a city somewhere, but I don't think I want that anymore," she smiled and watched his hair slip around her fingers. "Now I see myself also on my way to a strong medical career in pediatrics... probably in a family practice somewhere. Maybe even one day in my own family practice. I think at that time in my life I would be ready to be settled down as well, too. Have a family. A real family."

Ra smiled and nodded.
"Another thing we have in common." He said softly still holding her eyes. He was still amazed about how easily they fitted together, both in personality and in outlook.
He allowed them to fall into one of their pieceful silences for a while, enjoying the feel of her wieght on him and her hands in his hair.
"Obie...." he started, a bit nervous about admitting and asking his next question. "Does it bother you that I am a virgin?" He asked feeling rather random in his topic.

Smiling contently in the silence that followed, she allowed her mind to wander down paths it had never bothered to explore before. Things felt so different for her now. She actually felt as if she had a future rather than just a goal. When he said her name, she turned her blue eyes back to his and gave him an encouraging smile when he seemed hesitant to speak. Her smiled warmed considerably at his question though and she began to shake her head no.
"Not at all and why should it? I think that it's honorable and in a way..." she paused as a light flush colored her cheeks. She smiled and leaned down to kiss him softly. "In a way I find it very attractive. You believe in something and you're strong enough to stand up for it instead of caving and cheapening your morals." She continued to smile down at him and play with his hair, but his question sparked another in her mind.
"Does it... bother you that I'm not?" she asked softly.

He listened to her and smiled softly.
"I know some girls prefer the guy to be more experienced. To take charge and all that." He gave a soft snort of laughter. He knew Obie wasn't like that at all.
"Of course not." he said moving his hand to the small of her back where he began to trace circles with his index finger. "I think it's all just a social lable." He paused for a few moments. "That being said. I am a little intimidated by your experience ... but I am a modern man and more than happy for you to take charge when the time is right." He smirked and sat up a little to place a small kiss on her nose.

Obie smirked and laughed softly as he kissed the tip of her nose. "Who's to say I will?" she teased lightly. "I might just leave you to figure it all out on your own." She closed her eyes and arched her back slightly as his finger dragged across a sensitive spot on her lower back. She opened her eyes and smiled down at him.
"Besides... I think you give me too much credit. I have experience, but not as much as I think you think I do," she said, tilting her head down to the side to place a couple of soft kisses on the side of his neck.

"My mistake then." He said tilting his head so that she could kiss his neck. Sighing softly he closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her. Play it by ear seemed to be the best way to go. Besides it wasn't like he hadn't done 'stuff' before. He just hadn't gone all the way.
He had just relaxed into her soft kisses when his alarm went off. Holding her to him he swore and sat up to turn it off. It was eight oclock. He sighed and turned his eyes to look at her.
"I have to take my meds." He said softly stroking her cheek. "It'll make me fall asleep ... do." He stopped and took a breath. "Do you want to stay ... till I fall asleep, or all night if you want?"

His arms felt so good wrapped around her and she was enjoying the taste of his skin on her lips. When his alarm went off, she jumped a little and looked up at it in confusion. She watched him turn it off, confused as to why it was going off in the evening. She smiled as he explained and caressed her cheek. His question caused her smile to warm considerably and she reached up to brush some hair out of his eyes.
"I'd love to," she replied, slightly disappointed that their chat had to end. But his offer made it more than worth it. She was not ready at all to leave him yet.

Ra smiled broadly and lifted her off him. He stood and knelt to rummage through a drawer.
"You can wear this if you want." He said handing her a large t-shirt. "It'll be more comfortable than jeans." He smiled, grabbing his night clothes from under the pillow and dissapearing into the bathroom where he changed and took his tablets.
"In about thirty minutes I'll become a bit of a zombie." He called from the bathroom. So I apologise in advance if you ask me something and I don't answer."

Obie took the t-shirt from him and watched him disappear into the bathroom. She pulled herself up from his low bed and started to get undressed. After taking her top and bra off, she slipped the over sized t-shirt over her head. It smelled just like him, she thought with a smile as she pulled her jeans and socks off. Folding her clothes up, she glanced over to the bathroom door when he called out, then set them off to the side.
"Apology accepted," she smiled and pulled her hair out from the shirt. "You can come out when you're ready," she called out as she moved to sit back down on his soft mattress after pulling down the covers.

"Cool." He said emerging from the bathroom in the pj bottoms he slept in. It was too hot and pointless to wear the top. Crossing the room he cranked the AC up a bit and climbed into the bed next to her, pulling the covers over both of them and wrapping her in his arms.
"Heh, you might have to be careful of Scarlett in the morning." He said nuzzling her neck. "Her mind might explode if she sees you leaving."

Obie swept her eyes over him as he emerged and smiled as he turned up the AC before coming to bed. As he pulled the covers over them both, she just about melted as he slipped his arms around her. It was all the little things that he did that made her smile and the butterflies in her stomach dance. Wrapping her arm around him, she snuggled close to him, slipping one leg between his.
"I will do my best to not be seen by her then. I wouldn't want anything like that to happen to her," she sighed and tilted her head out of the way as he began to nuzzle her neck, sending warm tingles through her body.
"Hmm," she sighed happily. "Today has turned out to be a rather perfect day," she smiled softly, her eyes closing.

"Mmmm." He murmered, the familiar heavy sensation seeping into his brain. Slowly he kissed her neck up to her jaw before placing another soft, lingering kiss on her lips. "I'm so happy." He said simply looking up into her eyes. "I know it sounds cheesy but, happier than I remember. Thank you."

"Good thing I like cheese," she smiled and winked at him. She placed another soft, brief kiss on his lips and ran her hand up his shoulder and into his hair. "Thank you Rashne," she said leaning in to kiss him deeply one last time. When she broke away, she began to soothingly run her fingers through his hair. "Sleep well," she said softly, watching him.

"You too." He said sleepily resting his head against her shoulder, his arms still tight around her. Slowly his awareness started to slip away from him and his mind began to shut down. After about an hour he was dead to the world in the usual dreamless sleep.
