Sylvester took the offered brownie and touched his tongue to it. It was good! But...
"Does this have animals in it?" he asked. "Like big ones with meat on them?"
He looked at Miako. "Hi," he said soflty, temporarily less shy in the face of baked goods.

Vidya stared blankly at Sylvester, then down at her brownie. Good question...did they have animals in them? The child wrinkled up her nose a bit before looking back up towards the long-necked boy.
"Uhm...Viddy not think so. S'chocol'te....s'not peoples n' s'not animals. N' Tastes Yummy!"

Miako gleefully accepted the chocolatey treat from Vidya, biting into it with a smile.
"Thankee Viddy-chan! Mii loves choc'lit!"
Noticing Sylvester, she peered up at the long-necked boy, studying his features.
"Hi, I'm Miako." she said, not sure how to act around the new Tale. "You're a jee-raff, right? Mii read about those."
Meanwhile, Shiroi conversed with Terrenity, glad for the friendly face - she didn't really know many of the other people here.
"I've been okay, mainly trying to figure out how to take care of that little one and have time for anything else." Shiroi said. Abruptly changing the subject, she asked "How're Jahara and the other Kyr doing? I haven't had much time to go to Kyron lately..."

It didn't smell like animals, that was for sure. Sylvester paused for another second before biting into his own brownie and only a few seconds later, he was done with it.
"Thanks, Viddy! That was good!" he said, licking the chocolate off of his fingers.
"Yep, giraffe," Sylvester answered happily. "I'm Sylvester."

Since he wasn't as talkative as the others were, he just listened to the conversation while nibbling on his own brownie. There was too much noise in here.. it hurt his head... "A shamisen is an instrument.. you play it and it makes pretty sounds." He handed over his plushie. "If you like it, I have another one I could let you keep.. my dad says I have too many or something..."
He didn't like sharing but Shouhin said and Sylvester didn't seem all that bad. Shy but he was nice enough. So it was a gesture of good will if nothing else.
