Aiolos glimpsed the fight, but he didn't want to stay around, he ran into the fork in the road, least he had a chance there.

And so appeared the green spiky figurehead of justice, his long hair blowing in a conveniently cinematic wind as he entered the forest. Still trying to catch up to his opponents he looked about only to see the same damn man who had witnessed two of his failings the previous day.

Jacknife stepped out from around the tree and spotted his target about twenty feet away. He brought both MP5s up. His eyes glowed purple behind his sunglasses telekenetic energy wrapped itself around the front portions of each gun, holding them steady from recoil. The gun in his right hand let out a three round burst straight at the man. If the man tried to dodge, the second gun would immediately release another burst to his new location, either way the gun in his left hand would shoot shortly after the first burst had finished.

Shade gripped onto the bark of one of the trees as everything started to thin out, and the noise grew exponentially louder. Not to mention the newly added sounds of gun fire being exchanged. Climbing the tree in seconds, he reached the limb that was stable enough for him to get on, so he did. The invisible Vindicare saw the man finish off the beast, once he had used his optics for a moment to peal away the brush infront of him. Silently he pulled the dagger from his hip and held it steady, pulling the flash grenade from his waist and primed it's activation.

Just as Zen was about to exit this area the sound of gunfire exploded throughout the forest, Zen looked back over to see Jack firing his weapons, but the trees in front of Zen made it so he couldn't see Jack's enemy. Zen crouched down amongst the rough in case his services were needed.

Mozz smiled, the combat was too one sided for his likening, so he chased after his companion Alios instead. “ Call me if you need me gentlemen. “ Mozz smiled grazseing his hands against a few trees as he made his way for the new sewn fields. Moss grew from tree to tree createing large vines of green fur. It would be more difficult to escape to the newsewen plains. -toodles, send you all a postcard from newsewn-

There was little the tiger could do as it was skewered like it's' companion, the blade passing into it's maw, but as a creature summoned into existence for it's aid, not a beast of nature, it's last ditch actions where not to save it's own skin; rather, it rushed forward onto the blade, paws cuming in to clap with tremendus force and lock upon Quin's wrist of the blade wielding arm. Then it's life ended.
Rigur mortem would not have set in yet, but it would still be a large, heavy beast leaned slightly up against Quin, with its paws making it more difficult for his no doubt guantleted and protected hand to draw free. If it wasn't, well, he'd have claws dug into his flesh.
The archers, for their part; why would they stop firing? They had a few arrows left to take down this beast in a man's form.

A small force moved through the south bright forest, completely avoiding the battle with Quin; their comrades had that covered. Rydia had received word that two of the adventurers had gone to secure the mill and the newsewn fields, and so was coming, with seven other archers, one lumbering summon bear, and three keen tigers.
As they'd been in the forest all along, this is their exit post.

Gun fire? Interesting, and it was coming from where the arrows had. Which was a bad thing for the gunmen for Quin had not disbanded that simple barrier of his will just yet. The shots impacted upon it and were held in air tell they dropped to the ground. The same would happen to the next volley of arrows.
In a different move then what could be expected as the tiger attempted a death hold on him Quin using the green winds of magic to manipulate the very essence of life itself sent a portion of the chill of his body into that of the tiger. He was using the body as a sort of heat sink in reverse.
Laughing he sensed the movements of others. There was only five archers, the gun men, someone hiding behind a tree, and a feeling of another. It took a moment; but he found him in a tree. The green bands of life dampened by some technology, but surely as the man lived so then he was noted.
With the tiger infront of him and impaled upon his sword Quin had to work quickly. Metal screamed as claws dragged along the metal and screamed further when Quin used his powers to lift a bit of the mass off of him and give his sword a keener edge.
Swinging the sword free from the mouth with his wrists he took a portion of its skull with him, spraying grey matter and gore in a nice arc. Dragged down for a moment by the paws at his wrist Quin rotated the sword and with a sudden force cleaved through the fore arm, releasing him from that trap.
Turning he would face where they were coming in. Two corpses of their tigers laying to either side of him.
"Well? Come on."

((Quin? Nowhere in your profile does it say you can suck heat from tigers. Or anything else for that matter.
Explain to me how you did this?))

((It's not really sucking heat, it's more just him channeling some of the cold from him into the beast. The winds of magic come from the froozen wastes and so induce a sense of chill into the person. The more powerful the magic the more powerful the chill. Quin simply shunted some of it through a tangible conection with the tiger into its body. In other words when he's really casting he radiates a chill into the air.
On a further note I do make mention to the winds of magic and provide a detail description of it. Even if the above does not entirely explain away what happened the other abilities that can be performed can hold ground.))

Evidently this was a battle that didn't require Zen's services, he made a break as to not be drawn into the battle anyhow and went to the newsewn fields.

((So we have a cold dead tiger. But not a warmer Quin. Isn't your body temperature dangerously cold right now?
You do make note that you can do other things with the winds, but you also say they take longer to prepare. I saw no preparation for drawing heat out of the tiger into you, you just sort of did it.
You basically walked into the area where the bulk of my NPCs are patrolling all by yourself. xp I honestly think the only way you're going to get out of this one is to retreat.))

((Hey, Quin came in with no real hostile intentions. A retreat is basicly impossible at the moment. Quin is no warmer, and the only thing really keeping him going against the cold now is the blood rushing through his body. He's going to lose feeling in his hands and feet soon enough as the heat pulls back to the vitals.
"aren’t nearly so potent if he doesn’t take his time"
It's not froozen, but the body isn't warm any more. In the end he just made sure the heart slowed enough that it died.))
