As we KNOW it. As WE know it. AS we know it. As we know IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Um, no. The world will not end as we know it... Are you sure you know about anything we're talking about? You don't seem to. It's like your making up stuff as you go, hoping it's right or other people believe it. This coming from someone who has been learning from trail error, older people, and herself. Not to be mean, but, really, you shouldn't talk about stuff you don't know about. I'm a book learner myself...and no I do not make this stuff up as I go. Most of it is strongly based off of theories and myths. It just seemed off to me. I mean the way I practice must be different from the way you practice. If you do practice Wicca. Sorry if I insulted you! But I don't. What gave you that Idea. All I ever do is STUDY religion not BE in one.

I think there has been an increase of activity but some of my friends don't agree. Specificly, I've have more and more people admit to seeing things that make no sense and they're afraid it sounds crazy. I've also noticed an increased amount of Shadows gathering in certain places. Do I think it has something to do with the Veil? Well yeah, but mostly because it's a good answer and easy to place blame on. *shrugs* I'm human, sue me.
I don't much think acceptence is causing an increase. Just because you know of more, doesn't mean it's increased. Locally, I've seen and increase AND nationally. But that's taking everything on a percentage. Kind of like going to Wal-Mart and seeing a bookshelf of books and that's all they have. But you only go to a Wal-Mart in your County. Then you travel the nation and see bunches of books in Wal-Mart, one had a whole section! That doesn't mean there's an increase in Wal-Mart books. It means New York has a bigger section for books than Lynchburg does because of supply and demand. Howvere if you go home and there are TWO shelves and New York gets TWO sections, then there's an increase. (And for those keeping up, Lynchburg doesn't acctually have a Wal-Mart. xp )
Anywho! After that long rambling rant, all I can say is, yeah, I've noticed it but I'm not all together sure why. Alot of wind for just that statement, mm?
I'd also like to point out the "as we know it", I'm in favor of the phrase. One day we all woke up and everyone was blue! It's the end of the world as we know it! Because it's not the way we know it anymore! We get tanned and turn purple! That's an end if you ask me... Plus, the world will literally end one day when the sun explodes. But that's 32 billion years away and I'm not too worried about it.

I partially want to believe that the increase in paranormal is due to our own senses growing, but it doesn't sound right to me, logically it does, but I lack caffine, so logic is foregone currently.
I remember two years ago someone telling me about how a great time of reckoning was coming, the void was going to be tampered with and the veil would either stregthen to the point of ridiculousness, or disapear altogether. This person then fed me this load on how I needed to strengthen myself and join his fight, for his path was that of a higher good. ...I laughed then, and I still do thinking about it. I was reminded of this because of the multitude of posts making some kind of angle to the end of the world, or the end of the world as we know it.
Another being also made remark to me a year ago about sewing up the void, and that lifetimes ago they tried to do that, and will once again try to do that again. I don't think that's the case here since that being is in no position to even thread a needle. Though, I am wondering if the increase in paranormal activity has something to do with the void. I'm not really sure if this is my theory as I am still pondering it, but I thought I would toss it in as a possible (in the makings of being) theory. Of course I might just toss it out once I get a serious chance to devote a lot of thought to it.

This guy was speaking of a certain void, I don't quite remember mostly because he was trying to get me involved in a fight when I didn't wish to choose sides, as well as he was pulling bull on how I was to be some saviour but only if I was taught by him. I would go to him and ask him about the void but I am no longer in contact with him, and he was creepy and stalker-like, although, his apprentice I'm still in contact with and she's not too bad. I'll see what I can get to her so that I can add more details to his convoluted theory that may give birth to one from me.
