Minami smiled and applauded Risa's performance. Livvy applauded too, but she didn't smile. She was sensing Risa had some deep issues with her sister. But who wouldn't? Livvy didn't want to be rude and insult her sister, but she came off as the stuck-up, preppy, snobbish type. She hated that whole 'clique.'
But these thoughts were interrupted as Minami pulled her towards the stage. "Our turn now!" Livvy was practically dragged up there during Minami's mad dash. They barely had time to acknowledge Risa, who was just getting off.
Once on stage, Minami set everything up and played the CD while Livvy just waited. "Ready?" Minami whispered, handing her a mic. A guitar began to play in the background music. Both girls moved to it as if they were at some kind of school dance - nothing extreme, a bit of swaying and such was all that was neccessary. Minami started off the song...((note lyrics not in color are the parts they sing together so as not to interrupt the song too much))

Livvy sang her part right on cue - her voice flowed into the music just as Minami finished.

Now came the short guitar solo. Both girls were obviously having fun, as they were smiling while they danced to the upbeat music.

Livvy's voice was deeper than Minami's, but not by much. They sounded pretty much in sync with each other - so much that their voices sounded identical.

For the last bit, Minami sang softer so her voice could only be heard in the backgroud.

When it was all over, both girls ran off stage, rather happily. It was not uncommon for Minami to act so upbeat and sing something as light as that, not to mention dance on stage...but it was rather peculiar to see Livvy do it. But somehow, it just fit, seeing her up there and all. It was as if she were a natural. Of course this would probably be the last time in a long time that she did anything of the sort.
"That was pretty exhilerating, but I still can't believe I did it. Oh well, don't expect to see me do that ever again."

As Livvy and Minami walked off the stage Risa poped up in front of them. "WOW! You guys were great! You should join a band or something! Hehehehe in other words...you guys did amazing!"Risa cheered. Risa wa actually very amazed by what they sang. The song was so cute! But what made Risa so suprised was how good they both sang. IF Risa could ever open that select chorus that she wanted, she would let them in in a heartbeat.
As everyone walked away from the stage Risa wondered what they should do next. "Now that we did that...what shall we do now?"
Meanwhile...Rosa walked over to her sister. "Here are your tokens, Girl Next Door," Rosa said with a small glare at her little sis.
"Thank you, Miss America,"Risa said with sarcasm. Rosa walked away and Risa looked th the bag which had 110 tokens in it.
"Wow...." Risa said softly, "110 tokens."

Livvy and Minami both thanked Risa for her compliments. They probably did make a good duet. Alone, however, Minami was the only one with any real talent. Livvy only sang well when she was singing with the teal-haired girl. There was something about her friend that made her feel light and happy enough to sing and dance like that.
Shortly after, Rosa came by and handed Risa her bag of tokens - rather angrily. It seemed those two really were having some issues. But those thoughts were put aside again when Risa asked what they should do next.
Livvy wasn't too sure. They'd done almost everything, hadn't they? Minami voiced her own thoughts. '"Well, the only thing left to do is the kissing booth, but that doesn't really appeal to me. The Kimono Fashion Show is over already and we've all played games. This event ends tomorrow. There isn't much else to do now."

Risa pulled out the paper which flew at her to bring her here in the first place. She read it over untill see read one word...fireworks...then she got it. "I have a great idea! What about the fireworks! Those are starting like now! It will be a great way to end the event! What do you guys think?" Risa was very excited about the fireworks. She was actually jumping with excitment! You want to know why? This would be the first time she saw fireworks. Risa heard they were great.
Meanwhile....on the other side of the room Daisuke and Rosa were talking.
"*sigh* Sometimes I ask myself why I'm feeling sorry for my self...spending all my time wishing I was some one else...."
"Let me guess...risa is still mad at you."
"Yup..I guess I just don't fit in here. I haven't found anyone here to talk to. Whenever people see me...specially when I'm worried about Risa or somethign with her people think I'm this stuck-up, snobbish, girly girl...I just get so worried about Risa sometimes that I'm rude to those around her cause I don't want them to hurt her in someway."
"But you aren't here to make friends..we are on a mission to--"
"Daisuke you idiot!" Rosa stood up pushed a plate off the table. Rosa's hair flew over her face like Risa, "You'll never understand...I don't want to be Miss America...I would rather be the girl next door.." Rosa stromed out of the room with her hair in front of her face hinding her tears. As Rosa left Daisuke rose his hand in the air adn said, "Check.."
Her hair didn't fool Risa though. As Rosa walked out of the building Risa saw the tear... "Rosa....why is she crying? Is this because of me..." Risa had a worried look on her face but when she turned to the girls she smiled sweetly waiting for a answer.
((I'm going to post as Rosa in the fireworks but Risa will come in with you guys...amd also I when I was writing this I wanted to show another side of Rosa don't the preppy/snobbish person she showed before. Rosa is a real person too! hehehehe lol))

Both Livvy and Minami looked happy about the idea. "Sounds good to me," said Livvy. For her, fireworks were bittersweet. She liked to watch them, but the noise was sometimes unbearable for her. "As long as we stay far away from where they shoot them off. I like my hearing, thank you very much."
Minami laughed. She remembered a few times when Livvy brought her own earplugs because she just couldn't take it. "That's alright with me. The fireworks are in the sky after all. We can see them from miles away, as long as there's nothing in front of us blocking the view."
"Well, we don't have to stay miles away. If we did that, we might as well stay here. I just don't want to be near the launch pad," Livvy added.

"Sure! But I heard there was the hill which was perfect for watching them. They say it wasn't too loud but it was on a hill so the view was great!" Risa looked at a map for the name but for some reason she couldn't find it. "Darn it..can't find the name." Then she looked on the other side of the map. "Oh..here it is Saya hill! But if you want to stay here we can. It doesn't matter."

Airah was unsure why she had wandered back here. She was rather pleased with the way things had ended, and after all, Benimaru had apologised.
She felt like she was bursting with a song. She had always loved to sing, but the incident with Tasuke had left her with bitter memories. But now she had caught the festive fever of the occassion, and she decided to do something crazy and sing on stage again.
Are you sure about that?
Benimaru hadn't spoken to her since the last time she was on stage. She was surprised, to say the least, to hear from him again so soon.
I've always been here child, it's just I'm a little too lazy to speak. It requires a great deal of effort on my part.
"I'm fine." Airah signed herself up with a song she loved, hoping the song would do justice to her voice.

"No, let's go to the hill then," Livvy said. "That'll be just fine."
"Yeah, and there should be a nice view too - all open and clear," Minami added. "The winner of the Kimono Fashion show is supposed to set off a special firework or something. Let's go before they start!" Minami started walking on ahead. Livvy walked behind with Risa.
((We'll just go straight there now))

Since night had approached, Airah sang a little song she had learnt only recently. It was a very short song, more of a lullaby really, but it was beautiful.
"Natsuhiboshi naze akai?
Yuube kanashii yume wo mita
Naite hanashita, akai me yo
Natsuhiboshi naze mayou?
Kieta warashi wo sagashiteru
Dakara kanashii yume wo miru..."
The translation told a sad tale, but the lyrics were to sweet for Airah to be sad. It reminded her of her mother and her brother, and she smiled as she finished. As she got off the stage she was still humming the tune softly, remembering the translation.
