Naur's eye twitched when she heard someone addressing her. She turned her head, her features visibly changing from pissed to calm and collected.
"Hey Crystal," She smiled. "You honestly don't want to know..." She sighed. "Kaz has gone rogue, so to speak. He's killed two merchants and injured Leon and another avatar. I don't know who the second was, but that was the one that started all the confusing and pushing around here." She glanced around at all the faces. "Lets go somewhere else... Anywhere else. Kaz was heading toward Durem the last I heard, but at the moment, chasing him might be futile."
She looked away a moment, then something dawned on her. "Oh! That's right. I almost forgot. The lawl and order have 'recruited', so to speak, the services of our guild as a whole to help capture him. They figure, I guess, that because he's a part of the guild, we have greater access to him." She shrugged. "All in all it's been a lovely day of cat and mouse, though for some reason I get the impression that Kaz is the cat and we're the mice, we're just confused..." She sighed again. "And all these crouds aren't helping much!" Her eyes narrowed beneath her mask.

Crystal nodded in agreement with her fellow guildian. She sighed, "We can either go back to my place or your place." she said, "Or we can randomly start walking in some random direction and see where we end up." she added with a querky smile. "Either way... anywhere is better than here." She added as she moved away from the crowd and started heading towards the cross roads.

Kalaloo had finally made it out of the guild, but now she didn't know where to go. She could go back to her home she was much to afraid. She wanted to find the others. Where could they be though? She didn't want to search all around gaia. "What if they're chillin' in Durem? What if they don't know about Kaz yet?! No I'm sure the news has spread all around they know. Maybe they're locked up in their homes? I should go see Isabella. She's closer." She shoved her hand into her pocket and felt the parment left by Kaz. Kal took another deep breath and headed for the train station. Usually she didn't take a train to get to Isabella's. She enjoyed walking through and trail and experiencing the world around her, but this time she wasn't even sure if her trail was safe anymore. Thankfully the station wasn't as crowded today. People might have still been at the guilds, relaying details of Kaz's attacks to one another or maybe in their homes, too afriad to o out now that there was a serial killer about. "Hmph Kaz the Serial Killer." she thought as she took her seat on one of gaia's top notch trains. She sighed and looked out the window as the train sped down the tracks. Kal took out the parchment and studied it once more. X No adresses, no landmarks, no notes, nothing. Just an x. "Kaz why? Why?" She wish she could go back to denial. She hated this feeling. It was the feeling of dreaming until pinch yourself and find you haven't gone anywhere. Wasn't there a phrase describing this feeling? "Oh yeah," she thought, "reality smacking you in the face, I think." Her trip was roughly five minutes. After getting off at the train stop Kalaloo made her way to Isabella's house. She jog to her door and rang the doorbell. "Oh I hope she's home." she looked around, still feeling paranoid. Kal rang the doorbell again and waited. Still Isabella did not answer. "Isabella it's me Kal!" she announced then knocked on the door.

"We could head toward my place," Naur walked along beside Crystal toward the crossroads. "If we're lucky maybe we'll catch Isabella. She lives a few houses down from mine."
She looked up at the train station as they arrived, glancing back toward Durem with a frown. Too much didn't make sense still. She shook her head. It would clear up. Time told all, right? She turned and boarded the train, thankful for the short ride. "It won't take long to get there."

Crystal nodded and followed. She didn't have much to say but she did was to know more about what was going on, but from the look of what was going on, no one knew why he was doing this. Crystal sighed heavily as she sat next to Naur, suddenly feeling very tired, weighed down with thoughts.

Isabella had just laid down and was just drifting into sleep when she heard a familiar voice shouting from outside. "Isabella it's me Kal!"
"Whaaat?" She groaned as she slipped from her bed and swung the door open. "hey..." she mumbled, her baggy eyes showing she was somewhat tired. "Come one in...it's not much but it's home..." she called as she turned and headed back into her house, immediately going to the 'fridge to get drinks for them.
After a much needed sip of her drink she perked up, the sugar quickly lifting her from her sour mood. "And to what do I owe this great pleasure?" she chirped while plopping down in a recliner and looking at Kal with a huge smile.

Kal looked down at the can of soda. She watched as her finger repeatedly tapped at the metal. It was nervous twitched. Her heart began to pound when she thought back of her run in with their friend. Still she looked down at the unopened soda can. The frost that clung to its metal skin began to melt into her hands. She looked as if she were concentrating. She was really trying to figure out how to explain this to her friend. She didn't want to blurt it out but she had to say something. She started slowly,
"I... I met up with Kaz today. I had heard some things about him, terrible things. There were wanted papers with his face on them. They said he had killed somebody. I didn't want to believe it so I didn't." dhe shook her head, still refusing to look directly at Isabella, "I figured it was some prank. Some jerk, an enemy of his, trying to ruin his rep, ya know? SO I went to he guild hoping to find him. I'd thought he;d find it pretty funny. I found him of TM..." she paused. Her tapping on the can became scratching.
"He admitted to what the wanted papers claimed. Then..." she remembered the sword he pulled out on her. Kal looked at her friend, Isabella, "Kaz tried to kill me."

Is looked up in shock then looked down with a sad sigh. "yeah...I had the feeling this would happen one day...maybe not Kaz but eventually somebody would go psycho..." She muttered then stood up and grabbed her bow. "Let's go next door to Naurlote's...we'll figure out what to do then...I'm glad that you made it out alive..."

Breathing heavily, Taliah pushed past the last few scragglers of the crowd. She'd finally made it to Durem, and by now it was deserted. The few people who were left gathered their items and ran for cover, objects dropping occasionally, but never retrieved.
She looked all over the place, jogging up and down the cobbled streets. Passing shop after abandoned shop, Taliah started to despair that Kaz had already left or had gone into hiding. Her Gwee Dragon snorted out some fire, as if venting some of her frustration for her.
Where is he?! Taliah fumed. Darn reporters! Nothing but ...lies... she trailed off on that thought, thinking she had seen a shadowy figure rush past an alleyway.
With a billowy swoosh of her Gunner Coat, and a growl from both her dragon and kitty, Taliah took off for the figure she saw, taking out her Ice Whip, just in case.

Once the train came to a stop, Naur hopped off, glancing around and heading toward her own home. As she headed down the path she saw Isabella's door open. They would have to pass Isabella's to get to her own.
Seeing the door, however, Naur picked up her pace, waving her arm and hollaring ahead. "Isabella!" Then, considering past events she hesitated slightly. For a moment she almost expected to see Kaz exit the house. She gripped her bow, her heart sinking.
What had happened anyway?! Kaz was still a part of the guild and would remain so. Whatever had happened was certainly confusing but still... There had to be a reason why he'd suddenly gone psychopathic. Not that they hadn't been heading that direction for a long time anyway... stare Though mostly that had been jokes and jesting. This was far different indeed. She repressed a sigh.

Crystal followed Naur as she waved down Izzy. She sighed and stopped. "I don't think it's Kazz.. I really do think it's isabella." she said as she looked around for a weapon to use but all she had was a shovel, fishing rod, an net.

"Yeah me too." said Kal. She never thought Kaz could actually go crazy. Sure he made comments that would seem... well insane to her at times like a random "Roar!". However, she always thought that was funny and did the exact same to him from time to time. Simple play was all it was. Hidden jokes among friends. How could he go pyschopath on her or anyone? Kal knew she could go super analytical pyscologist right now but knew that they needed to find Naurlote.
"Isabella!" she heard outside.
"Naur...?" Kal stood and walked over to the door.

"Hey Naur!" Izz shouted as she saw her sister. "what's up?! We were just coming to look for you!" she called then began towards her friends.

Once she rounded the corner; however, he trail went cold. All that faced her was a silent, empty street. One quick look confirmed that whatever she had seen, was long gone.
Visably slumping, she sighed heavily, taking this time to let her breathing return to normal. Where could they have gone? She wondered. Surely no one ran that fast.
But, she was stumped. Nothing alerted her to any threat, not even her Coco or Gwee. Dejectedly, she started back the way she came, headed for the outskirts of Durem.

"Izzy!!" Naur smiled and waved back. "Man, have I got a story to tell you! This one I don't think I could even BEGIN to put down in the guild..." She sighed. "We were trying to get away from the croud. This is about the best way to do it I suppose, and it's a good thing we ran into both of you, I was a little worried with all this mess going on in the Guild Hall. Were either of you there when all that happened?"
