A Matter of Artistic Pride ((PMed to MadHatter))A cylindrical package arrives with the daily mail to ShinRa Electric, addressed to President Rufus ShinRa. There is a stamp on it proclaiming "Handle with Care" but no return address. Any tests or precautions taken with it will show it to be completely benign. Peeling back the tape holding the plastic ends to the heavy cardboard tube pulls the cap out. Inside, can be seen carefully rolled canvas & paper separated by waxed paper. Tapping the other end of the tube causes a tightly rolled, hand written note to drop from within. Unrolling the very carefully packaged paintings reveals an oil painting on canvas & a darker, mixed media painting on a thick but flexible specially-made long-enduring paper. The image on canvas would be familiar to Rufus & Tseng: a spitting image of the one painted in the park. But this one bears not a trace of magic; not so much as a fingerprint. It is as if the artist shut off her 'gift' completely to paint the replication. The only hints of magic lingering on either paintings, letter, or delivery tube are barely detectable -so faint as to be like the slight cling of moisture after walking through mist. The second painting is dark, ominous. Although there are shapes that resemble what might be forms it is not exactly clear. A knowing & perceptive eye might recognize the darkness within & behind the Boss & his Turks. Little is left out, & an unwary viewer might just get sick at the sight. The understanding & imagery is uncanny though there is little anyone could point out as "accepted real" in the symbolism of the piece. Needless to say, it captured what Relm was curious to see in the drawn shades behind Rufus & Tseng's eyes.

Well... I sent them. It is done. I am glad the one is out of my sight. The truth is not pretty. If that is the truth. Something in me tells me it is so. Perhaps my Magic. I do not know. It does not matter. It is gone, & I am not likely to see Rufus ShinRa again. No. I have seen enough to know that even should ShinRa call on me for my artistic capabilities it will be one of his underlings that sends for me. One like his "secretary" Tseng, if I have impressed enough. I would more expect a missive or summons more than a personal call of any sort.
Not that it matters. **But it does. Foolish of me to set my sights so high. Foolish, careless, stupid. At least Rikku had the sense to fall in love with a nice boy, oblivious that they may be. Perhaps I should stop searching as well.
Of course I was not searching that day. Perhaps I let my art get away from me, enamoring him in my eyes. Ha. He is exactly the type I would have looked for regardless... I was simply lucky -or unfortunate- enough to meet him.
Where shall I find a powerful, attractive, mysterious,
someone for me?

I was only supposed to take the clothes to Keme. That was all. Of course I wanted to see him to... It worries me that he spends so much time alone, especially with the weather getting colder.
I... I'm not quite sure what possessed me to invite him home. I think... part of me wanted to show him the large painting I have of him -the one that's over my bed. redface Looking back... I'm surprised neither of us saw the significance in that painting's placement. I bet some of the others suspected. I suppose I was being as blind & oblivious as Blondie, Espers forgive me. Maybe not so much oblivious as fighting it...
The other reason, of course, was to tease Rikku's Romeo that our home & family are safe. They're together after all. It's not like Trel's policy on Aear not bringing his "lady friends" home. Friends & kin & mates are completely permissible. That's why I could bring Keme home. Because we're friends.
But I digress.
I loved watching Keme take in my studio. I'm quite proud of it, you see. But then he seemed so tense... I couldn't just let him stay that way. I only wanted to relax him. sweatdrop Guess I relaxed him too much because he fell asleep.
But what possessed me to stay with him afterwards... well I cannot say for certain. Maybe it was Trel meeting me at the door with the blanket. Maybe I didn't want Keme to wake up alone not knowing where he was. When it really comes down to it... I just did not want to leave him. Or the peace I felt when with him.
I should have known.
Poor guy meeting the family at breakfast. Keme handled it pretty well, considering he spends so much time alone. & Aear of course gave him a bit of a tease about it. Then before I knew it Rikku had a bunch of us going with Keme to his home.
Do I really have to go into how I "painted" Blondie's beau after he hit Keme? I... I've never attacked a friend before. I don't think I thought beyond the fact that he had attacked Keme, who I...
Well I'll get to that in a moment.
Other than that, meeting Keme's family was wonderful. Overwhelming, yes, but somehow I don't recall ever being so happy. Their little seraphim kitsu kit, Faye, let me pet her until we left. It was so nice.
Then we went to see Dimitrus -the equu that took Blondie & Romeo on their date. He took us for a flight... it was so blissfully wonderful.
But Keme said he sometimes wished Dimitrus would fly him away somewhere. When I asked him bout it he had the equu land. He talked about being in the way when I found the one I was looking for... and how he, Keme, was not what I wanted...
But he was! Espers, but it hit me hard how much I wanted to be with him... I.... I think I might have kissed him before or as the panic set in. I... I really don't remember much once I panicked. Only that I was afraid of what I was feeling... afraid of being wrong... afraid of loving Keme.
It wasn't until Timex woke me that I realized how much I must have hurt Keme. That was more devastating than realizing I loved him. I don't know how long we searched before finding Morgana & the two equu. I don't recall clearly how we got Zucca to lead us to Keme. I don't recall much besides being worried for Keme... knowing it was my fault... hoping we could find him & somewhere amidst it all deciding that whatever happened, I would do anything & everything for Keme to be happy.
When we found him... Espers! I know I must have spilled my heart out once I started talking. I just wanted to apologize... I wanted to try & make everything all right, even though I knew there was no way I could turn back time to make what I did go away. Only then did I admit that I loved him, to myself as well.
When he passed out... I thought I'd burst with worry. Somehow we got him home. I don't know where I found the strength. I don't remember much of anything once I knew Keme was secure. Not until I awoke beside him.
My memory is a jumble of emotions. I was sick too... that probably didn't help. Somehow, between the waking & the sleeping we confessed our love. I... I don't deserve his love but there's nothing I want more...
Except perhaps to hold that first kiss forever...

Well, Christmas shopping is done. I'm still surprised that I ran into Scholar while taking a shortcut through the park afterwards. Seems the healer's working with the Turks -the name of those working closest to Rufus ShinRa far as I can tell. Still made me hopping mad to think of how that pretty-boy insulted my pictomancy. More so because it does bother me so. It shouldn't still bother me... but it does.
Seems Scholar has a big test coming up. Makes me so mad when those who think they know better discriminate because of age. Hard to imagine Scholar having to inflict a possibly life-threatening wound to himself just to see that he can fix himself under pressure and how far he thinks he can go. Just because I can see the usefulness of such an exercise doesn't mean I have to like it.
It was fun when Keme & the two oblivious blondes showed up. I miss Hummer so much when we're apart... even if it's not very long at all. It was unbelievably hard to watch him leave and not follow. So hard I ended up confessing some to Scholar about how it felt, being in love. It does feel like drowning after a desert... but I wouldn't trade the feeling for any other thing.
The Scholar's afraid of blood. Imagine that! I guess it's really not all that difficult to believe... sometimes it seems he'd be afraid of his own shadow. Still, I'd like to help him with that. If I can. Especially considering what he's likely getting into...
Yes. I'm worried for him.
We discussed magics. It was refreshing 'painting' someone who could see what I did. I'm bummed though that his portals are so complex... it would have been great to be able to use them to find Keme anywhere.
The Scholar is a gentleman though. Offered to walk me home. He did seem to enjoy our library though. I know it made the Bookworm happy to have someone else enjoy it. I'm sorry Scholar seems afraid of the ninau though. Even the new one wouldn't harm him.
I do hope he remembers to call. I'd be nice to chat magics with Scholar again. And I know Bookworm would like to see his library appreciated.

[Insert quirky Title here] Page 2432MoochiLove The door to the shop opened and shut quickly as Keme dashed in, shivering in his coat, pants and boots, his arms wrapped around a small lump that is around his belly. Letting out a breath, he unzips his jacket and pulls out the black FTC that hadn't left his side for the past 24 hours and he didn't have the heart to tell her to go home, so he just put her in his coat as he made his way to the shop. Outside the shop Relm dismounted from the ninau Timex's back with a roll of her eyes. She buried her head into his mane a moment to try to block out the insane babble spewing from her new "sister's" mouth. "And then, like, you totally won't believe this, but she was all "woah!" and he was, like, "for sure!" And I said that was totally tripping!" "We'll see you in a little bit, Timex. Thanks." Stroking his neck the pictomancer gave his muzzle a kiss as the ninau lipped at her curls gently. "C'mon, Bubbles. Let's see if anyone is around." Gwen did not stop chattering as they walked to the door & stepped inside. The artist ignored the beach babe as she scanned the room Relm's heart gave a little flutter spotting Keme and she walked over to him. "Fancy meeting you here, Hummer." Her tone was soft & love sparkled in her light green eyes. Still at the door the beach female stretched before languidly following her sister. MoochiLove Keme was just shrugging off his coat, revealing a dark green sweater which he deemed loudly was too tight, but was ignored at home about it. He chuckles as Azure shifts herself to settle herself on his shoulders, but his ears twitch as he hears chattering and he wondered if Rikku and Naruto were here as well. He turned and smiled happily at seeing Relm and he leaned down to kiss her cheek, Azure mewing her greeting, "Hey Relm, it's a nice surprise to see you here." he says softly. He straightens up and then spots the new female and blinks and then smiles in a friendly manner, "Hey there!" he greets. Relm agreed with a happy & slightly dreamy smile. She could not help appreciating how the green sweater seemed to accentuate Keme's upper body in a very pleasing way & blushed. Nor was she the only one, but thankfully Relm could not see her sister's coyly arched brow behind her. Reaching up to scratch Azure's ear the artist grins. "I take it Azure didn't want to be left behind?""Hi to you too, handsome! It's like totally rad seeing you all, like, real & stuff after all Relm's paintings of you at the house, you know. You're, like, totally sexier in the flesh." Her words finished with a sultry purr as she sashayed nearer, dropping the long full body-length wool coat she wore casually to the floor. Relm stared daggers at her. "Keme... meet Bubbles. ah, I mean Gwen."MoochiLove Keme chuckles and rubs the back of Azure's wiggling tail, "I didn't have the heart to leave her at home, especially when she kept following me when I took her back!! Oh, you won't believe it, she's actually pregnant with Perun's kittens right now!" he says in excitement, scooping the small cat into his arms and cradling her, rubbing her rounding belly, chuckling as she mews and basically looks cute.
But the compliments and bubbliness of Gwen totally caught him off guard. She seemed even more....buzzier then Miranda and that was saying alot! He hoped the two would never met.....shaking his head of those thoughts, he blushes lightly, but genuinely looks confused over being called handsome and sexy, "Umm....thanks, I guess. Nice to meet you Gwen, I always like meeting Relm's family!" he says, smiling down at the artist. The pictomancer laughed, crinkling her nose cutely ever so slightly. "I'd say congratulations were in order, pretty kitty!" Gently Relm knuckled the FTC's head. between her ears. "Like, I guess so. If that's, like, what she's wanting. Kids would be like so the total drag." Gwen seemed to not notice her sister's displeasure. "There's like so much more to do!" Her eyes glanced appreciatively up & down Keme's body. "I can't believe you, like, totally were taken in by this whole, like, clothes thing. We've, like, gotta getcha, like, out of those clothes." "Cut it out, Bubbles." Relm growled softly with warning. "What? Doncha, like, share, sis?" The artist's only answer was a heated glare. MoochiLove Keme looks back and forth between the two females, obviously very confused and probably (unknowingly) pulling a Naruto. He shifts Azure about and then lets her hop out his arms and to the ground and he rubs the back of his head, "Well, normally, I don't wear cloths, but it's winter and I am outdoors alot, so I figure I can put up with it until the warmer seasons finally come back." he says, shrugging his shoulders, smiling down as Azure decides to rub up against his boots, purring. Relm cast an unbelievable look at the hummingbird male. How could he not see Gwen's blatant sexuality. I guess I should be grateful... "There's, like, other ways to, like, warm up ya'know." But when the valley-girl audio kicked aside the edge of her dropped coat & stepped closer to Keme the artist imposed herself between the two taller audios. "Not Keme I don't, Bubbles. So cut that out now." Relm answered the earlier query meaningfully. Forcing a smile she looks at Keme and all the force leaves her face as her eyes fill with love. Espers... "Why don't we sit down, instead of standing around?" Before Relm knew what she was doing, her fingertips sought out Keme's & touched them lightly. Gwen shrugged. "Sure. Like, whatever."MoochiLove Fortunately or unfortunately, Keme still didn't quite see what was going on, all he knew that Relm seemed very tense for some reason and he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, smiling lovingly down at her. Mentioning that they should sit down, he nods his head and leads the way to one of the couchs, plopping down and letting Azure hop onto his lap and then plays with her by hanging the three end prongs of his tail over her head. Making sure to position herself between her sister & Keme, Relm smoothed out her pants. Gwen flopped to her seat the way she might lounge on the beach. "So what've you been doing?" oh. good job there, Relm. Very interesting conversationalist you are.MoochiLove Keme grins over at Relm when she asks, "Well, not spending as much time outdoors as I like, but Moochi has everyone with thumbs making sure there isn't a way for Azure to get into the walls of the house. She heard from someone that sometimes mother cats will crawl inbetween the spaces of walls and have their kittens and she doesn't want to have to tear down a wall in her house to get them out!" he says, shaking his head as he scratchs along Azure's back. Ignoring Gwen as she started to sing long with her song Relm smiled up at him. "Can't say I'd blame her. I'd want my privacy at such a time too." Her eyes went wide & she blushed red, thinking of the implications & hoping that Keme would miss that as he seemed to be oblivious to her sisters wanton flirtation. Of course audio's don't produce like that... thank the Espers. "As for outside... maybe we could bundle up really warm & plan daily walks. Or see if we can find a place that's a bit warmer using the magic door at home."There was definitely more enthusiasm for the first than the second, and for various reasons if Keme would but ask. MoochiLove Keme smiles and nods, "Yea, that magic door seems pretty interesting, might be fun to explore together!" But at the mentioning of the magic door, he couldn't help but chuckle, remembering the sight of poor Naruto as he stumbled home, his eyes wide and stuttering up a storm. He refused to look anyone in the eye, his face going red and had holed himself up in the kitchen, stuffing himself with ramen. Relm arched a brow at his chuckle, her thoughts not following. But then again, for her the door was a daily occurence so the first thought in her mind would not be what Keme's was. "It is pretty cool. I've gotta admit that the wizards did an awesome job when they made it. I can't imagine how we'd all live in that little place without room to stretch out in." Smiling, she slipped an arm around Keme's & leaned her head lightly on his shoulder. "But yeah. Exploring sounds good.""Haven't you, like, explored already? Rikku & Naruto certainly have." Relm's face felt like it was on fire. MoochiLove Keme wrapped an arm around Relm's shoulders, smiling happily, but blinks at Gwen a few times, his face going red, "Ummm....well....when it happens it happens, and I don't think we would let you know Gwen unless it was necessary..." Keme says, somewhat sternly, turning his face so he can stare straight ahead, and not look at Relm, scared that he might just take her up on her offer to go exploring through the magic door. Besides, he might come home stumbling like Naruto and unable to speak for a few days! Relm wanted to sink into the floor. Or bolt. But she was far too comfortable and as was usual any more found she was willing to put up with much worse to be with Keme. Gwen shrugged her sea blue shoulders "Like, without a beach or a surfboard? Not really." She stared at the pair with her seemingly sleepy gaze. "It's not, like, ya know, we won't be able to, like, figure it out, ya know." The pictomancer blushed harder. "Drop it, Bubbles." Relm whispered in a soft monotone. Just drop it. I... I'm not ready." I'm still used to just being in love! That terrifies me! Stretching languidly Gwen shrugged. "Whatever. But, like, If you asked me you could, like, totally do with something to relax you.""I didn't ask." Espers! I wish somebody would show up & distract her!MoochiLove "So, how do you think Azure and Perun's kittens will turn out?! Think they will all have dark blue eyes and be hunters?" he asks quickly, trying to change the subject to something more safer and get Relm to calm down. He himself didn't think about that much, even though he was with Relm now! Relm smiled gratefully up at Keme. Like I needed more reasons to love you... "Quite likely, if they spend a lot of time traipsing around outside with their parents. Though I doubt all little ones try to follow in their parents' pawprints quite like our Lily does with Remus. I swear she only does things to imitate her mother to gain his favor." Relm shook her head, casting a quick glance to see that Gwen was once again momentarily zoned out in her music. MoochiLove Keme sighed, glad to see Relm wasn't upset anymore and he looks down to the purring cat in his lap (Yes that rhymed! xD) "Well, if they are all going to be outdoorsie like the both of them, they might make great hunters! Heck, if Azure wasn't so small, she would make a great hunter!" he says, getting a mew of agreement from the black cat. It was Relm's turn to smile & nod. Not that she had nothing to say... but that her thoughts had managed to tumble down a path she was completely unready for. Because except when she wanted to use a studio, she & Keme were both pretty outdoorsie themselves & once she made that connection she started to wonder... and shoved the thoughts far, far away. Blushing a little Relm ducked her head. Grinning at a new thought that rushed in to fill the void the 5' tall female quirked her head in mock-anger at Keme. "And what, Hummer, is wrong with being small?"MoochiLove Keme blushed and chuckled nervously, looking about, "There's nothing wrong with being small Relm, I mean look at you!!! You're like a firecracker or something, I mean....well, you know what I mean!! Well, sometimes size doesn't matter....well sometimes it does.....that's not what I mean!!! I'll shut up now..." he says, slumping over in defeat, Azure leaning over and licking at his nose and mewing. Petting Azure almost as if in a conspiracy Relm grinned & kissed him just in front of his headphones. "Aww... c'mon. You asked for it, you know." She whispered lovingly. Keeping her lips there to breathe in Keme's scent she smiled. "You're, like, totally right! It's, like, all about how it's used, ya'know?" Gwen piped up from the floor, looking for all the world like she was not even paying attention. MoochiLove Keme freezes as he looks down at Gwen, his entire face going red and he looks around and anywhere but at Relm, trying to fight back the immense blush he can feel starting to creep up on his face. He takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly, rubbing at his muzzle. Relm did not move; despite almost getting conked in the nose by Keme's headphones when he looked around. Her hand rested lightly on his shoulder where she had put it for balance. She was stunned. She should have known Gwen would say something like that. The thought that the taller female spoke from experience rather than hearsay made her blush more than her own embarrassment. With a low sigh Gwen twisted her back to loosen it up. "Well? Aren't either of you, like, gonna say anything?"MoochiLove Keme gulps down the lump in his throat, trying to think up something that would make the uncomfortable air around them just go away!! "How bout we go into the kitchen and get something to drink. I can heat up some water for some hot chocolate?" he says, his voice wavering a little bit. Kissing his cheek with relief & adoration Relm hopped from her seat, taking his hand. "Sure. Like, whatever. Warm, like, sounds good." The beach babe made no move to accompany them, staring off into space again. Relm tugged slightly on Keme's arm, wanting more than anything to be away from her "sister" -almost as much as she wanted to spend time alone with him. Espers... was I ever that annoying? A tinge of guilt crept into her as she wove her fingers with Keme's & stepped towards the kitchen. MoochiLove Keme quickly stands with Relm and lets her tug him towards the kitchen, also wanting to put some space between themselves and Gwen. He is quite happy to note that Azure tagged right along, tail waving about in the air, even though her gait was a little slower then normal. Once they are inside, he leans down and kisses Relm full on the lips before letting her go and going to the kettle, "I've been wanting to do that, but....your sister keeps making all those comments!" he says.
A slightly repulsed shudder shook the pictomancer & she wrapped her arms tightly about herself.MoochiLove Keme grabs the kettle and fills it with water, putting it on the stove and turning it on. "Heh, really? I would have though Aear would have enjoyed some female company." Then he heads to the fridge and looks around for a carton of milk, and is glad ot see it there. But he looks down as Azure starts mewing up a storm, quite loudly and looking at him with big blue eyes and generally trying to look extra cute for him, as if saying 'You can't resist this face...so gimme some milk, I'm eating for more then one now!'. "Alright already, I swear your looks could be used as weapons!" Relm flushed crimson. "I don't want to think about what they do. Even Aear's a gentleman you know. Gwen seems to have no morals."A scream could be heard from the other room, followed by an oddly excited voice from one that Relm had never heard excited. "Oh, like, that is totally the grossest thing evah! Like get away!"Confusion evident on her face Relm turned to see Perun saunter across the room, head & tail high & erect, a look of being much pleased with himself in his blue eyes. In his mouth, what Relm could only guess was his latest kill. Rabbit by the look of it; broken neck. He walked past the pictomancer to his mate & set the dead creature beside Azure. Perun mewed softly as he bumped her chin with his head. [Hungry?]Relm cooed. "That's adorable!" Whipping out her art pad she put the scene on the paper. MoochiLove Keme almost dropped the milk carton at Gwens outburst and he couldn't help but wonder what set her off. But his answer soon arrives as Azures' mate saunters his way in and he couldn't help but laugh at how proud Azure looked, "Haha, looks like I won't need to give her milk after all!" he says, setting the carton on the counter.
Azure mews happily at the sight of Perun, her tail wagging high in the air and at the sight of the dead rabbit, her taste for fresh meat increasing everyday. "Of course, we can have some milk with it!!" she mews, nuzzling under his chin and then mewing up at Keme to still give her milk.
Keme sighs and nods his head, "OK, I'll give you some milk, but don't think I am putting chocolate in it, I don't know if chocolate is good for cats and I ain't risking it with you carrying kittens right now!" he exclaims, looking in the cabinets for a dish to pour the milk in. Relm just grinned, getting the scene down -only using her magic to form the paint itself. She wanted to get Perun's look just so... "Is it my imagination or did you intentionally drag that dead thing past our resident vegan to set her off, Perun?" slicing open the skin with a claw to get to the meat inside the hunter's only reply was to look up with a glint of playful mischief in his eyes. Capturing that too, Relm laughed. Perun mewed softly to his mate. [Good work on the milk, Azure.]MoochiLove Finally finding a small dish, he pours the milk in and sets it in front of the mated pair, smiling as Azure immediately steps up and starts to drink, her urge for milk and meat getting stronger day by day. Then he gets busy on heating up some milk for Relm so she can have her hot coco with milk instead of water. He stands in front of the stove, waving his tail about idly, zoning off for a second. Finishing what she wanted to paint Relm sets the book aside, happily watching the feather tailed cats. Perun had started to purr, waiting to let his mate drink & eat all she wanted before he would even have a bite. Relm lifted her gaze to Keme, working at the stove, and wondered what he was thinking bout. Biting her lip she shoved her brush into her pocket & with a nervous quiet made her way across the kitchen to Keme. Closing the distance between them -and mindful of the location of the cats- Relm hugged him from behind. "Thanks."MoochiLove After finishing up some milk, Azure started on the fresh rabbit, eating a little more then usual before going back to the milk again, leaving the rest for Perun to have, which was still quite a bit.
Keme blinks a few times when he is hugged from behind and he looks down over his shoulder and smiles warmly, patting her hands, "For what?" he asks, his tail swaying happily now. Relm smiled, leaning her cheek against his back. "For everything. For making my cocoa seperate. For always having been willing to listen to me. For thinking I'm strong when I'm shaking in my boots. For confiding in me. For making me feel like I'm drowning & saved all at once. For putting up with me..." She laughed nervously at having rambled on again. Perun looked up from eating rabbit with a mew. [Silly two-legger.] He commented to Azure with amuzement. "Just for being you, Keme."MoochiLove Keme looks down at the stove as Relm talks and he starts to blush, a small, shy smile appearing on his face. "Well....I've always wanted to treat you the way you deserve Relm...like you deserve everything..." he says softly, turning off the burner for the milk and just waiting on the kettle to start whistling.
Azure flopped onto her side so she could start grooming, but she looks up at the two and then back at Perun, smiling cutely and mewing, "Their in love!" Licking his chops, Perun huffed softly. [Still silly.] The hunter insisted pausing to pick a bit of fur from between his claws before grinning with adoration at Azure. [But love is good.]Relm could hardly believe her ears. Surely he didn't mean... "Always?" She squeaked. ((funny, the things we pick up or focus on sometimes. isn't it? lol))MoochiLove Keme smiles softly, his ears flicking as the kettle starts to whistle and he turns the burner off, taking the kettle off, "Always Relm..." he says softly.
Azure purrs as she lays her head on the floor, her tail swinging about in the air for a moment before softly brushing against her rounding belly, "Yes, love is always good." she mews. Her heart fluttered with happiness. Relm stood on tiptoes to kiss Keme's jaw-line lightly. Yet at the same time her head wanted further clarification. Thoughtful, she stepped away from Keme & reached to stir the simmering milk in the saucepan. Perun glanced up at the audios briefly before nuzzling his mate's chin & licking lightly at her belly. [It has certainly been for us.]MoochiLove Keme smiles lightly at the kiss and he goes over to the cabinet to get out two mugs for them. Going to the pantry, he brings out some hot coco mix and then proceeds to fix their drinks, humming softly along the way.
Azure shirts about so she is laying on her back, her tail moving up and down idly, "Yes it has, my silly hunter!" she mews. Perun moved until he stood over the small black & white female. Dipping only his head he started to clean Azure starting under her chin. His eyes twinkled playfully. [Silly, am I?]For lack of her brush in her hand, Relm wrings her hands together. At the sound of Keme's humming the motion lost some of its edge, becoming more something to do with her hands than anything from her nerves. Keeping out of his way Relm brought her clutched hands to her chest. "It's good to hear you humming again."MoochiLove The female giggles cutely as she moves her head away playfully, "Yes you're silly, my silly hunter!" she mews, trying to paw at his nose.
He poured Relms heated milk into her mug first, and then goes to pour the hot water into his mug. He find some spoons and stirs them, still humming. He stops and looks over at Relm, blinking a few times, "It is? Hmm...I never realized I stopped....well, I'll try to hum more often for you!" he says with a smile. Nipping at her paws playfully Perun tilts his head to huff gently in her ear, blue eyes dancing. [Your hunter, anyway.] He meows softly, maintaining the game that he did not like to be called silly. She was about to say something completely corny and Relm knew it. Still the words came out. "Even humming every time... the times without between are still too long." She watched Keme a fraction of a second longer then turned to the counter, leaning on it with her elbows with her chin in her hand as if studying the countertop diligently. Her tail hung behind her, the tip flicking back & forth between her red boots like a clock's pendulum. MoochiLove Azure giggles and mews, still pawing at his face and playfully calling him silly, her tail wagging about on the floor.
Keme blinked and blushed at that, but slid her mug to her, sipping at his hot drink idly as he leans on the counter next to her. He looks down and chuckles at the sight of the two cats playing around. Perun teased with a chuckle, Hunkering his front down to lightly pin Azure to the floor. Relm brought her hands down to hold her mug of cocoa between them. When she lifted it to her lips she blew gently, a thoughtful look once more upon her face. She sipped the thick, warm beverage & smiled. Her eyes closed. She sipped again, & sighed softly. "Hummer..." Funny how her name for him became fused with love. "When you said you always wanted to treat me the way you think I deserve... does that... I mean, do you mean the day we met too? Or for the future?" or both? Her voice trembled a little. As her hands followed suit Relm set her mug back onto the counter, clutching at its warmth. "Or something else?" She finished instead, watching the waves made in her cocoa fading away. MoochiLove Keme looked at Relm out of the corner of his eyes, but then looks ahead and gets a thoughtful expresssion on his face, lifting his mug to sip his coco. "Truth be told, I've always thought that Relm. Especially after that night under my tree. Course I didn't say anything then, cause I didn't think I was what you wanted." he answers, sipping his drink again, "I'll always treat you like this Relm, no matter what happens." he says, smiling down at her.
Azure mews and pretends to struggle, trying to push him off her, batting at his face and ears. Relm breathed in wonder, staring at her drink before bringing it to her lips once more & drinking deeply. She shivered as the warm liquid traveled through her. She laughed softly as she turned around to lean back against the counter. "I was pretty foolish wasn't I? Foolish & blind."Perun shook his head from side to side, wagging his ears to make them a more difficult target & then darting in to lick the female's nose. MoochiLove "No, you weren't foolish or blind Relm. You had an idea of what you wanted and you did what you could to get it! I guess love has a funny way of, I guess....bringing those together that didn't expect it." he says, shrugging his shoulders, sipping his drink again.
Azure mews and tries to nibble on his ears, having difficultly with him moving around like that. She pushes at him with her back paws. MoochiLove Keme shakes his head in disagreement, "You got scared, I don't blame you. I guess I shouldn't have went off the way I did, but I certainly don't see you as foolish." he comments, his tail swaying.
Azure mews and nods, but still giggles as she continues to kick at him lightly. Just as long as he didnt lay on her belly, things were fine.
Her smile was almost radiant, as if showing that in the end -she was glad of it.With his back end up & front end down, Perun was more than being careful of his mate's condition. He had more to protect now than Azure alone; even if he had to protect them all from his own playfulness. He flicked his tail as if trying to brush her kicks away.MoochiLove Keme chuckled, finishing off his hot coco and going to the sink to rinse it out, "Even though things went down the way they did, I wouldn't change it for the world. Certainly wouldn't change you for the world Relm. I love you just the way you are." he says, looking over at her.
Azure mews and finally relaxs, feeling tired now from all the playing. She stops kicking at his belly, her tail slowly swishing about on the floor.
She set her mug in the sink, then maneuvered herself between the sink & Keme. Her heart pounding she lay her hands flat on his chest. "I told Kaleb falling in love was like finding the ocean after being in a desert. At least for me. I... I'm still afraid of drowning, Keme. But I love you so much... I know for you I will find a way to swim."He nuzzled his mate gently. [Azure, want to find somewhere soft to nap?] Perun grinned crookedly at her. [We could take the bones to the beach first.]MoochiLove Keme steps back just enough so Relm could have room to be in front of him and he puts his hands on her waist. He smiles lovingly down at her and leans down to kiss her after she finishes speaking, pulling back enough to whisper, "I'll make sure you don't drown Relm....I'll always make sure your head stays above water....I promise..."
Azure nuzzles him back and purrs, smiling. But she pulls back and tilts her head in a cute manner, confused over what he means. But figuring that he meant they woudl take the remains outside to bury, she smiles and nods, "Sure thing!"
Standing on tiptoe, Relm closes the distance between their lips for another kiss. With laughing eyes, Perun grabs the edges of the fur in his mouth & carries the lump out of the kitchen. He inclines his head for Azure to follow him with a mischievous glint in his eyes.MoochiLove Keme blushes and looks quite amazed by her statement and he is left speechless. But he soon leans down to kiss her, wrapping his arms around her waist as he purrs.
Azure hops to her feet and shakes her fur out, but tilts her head again. But she follows after Perun, wondering what he was up to. Perun strode purposefully with tail held high. The tip flicked back & forth with anticipation. Around the "package" he meowed for Azure [Top of the chair there. & watch!] With a nonchalant air Perun strolled to the sunning beach audio where she was laying against her wool coat in the sunlight streaming through the window. He winked at Azure, dropping his bundle in Gwen's lap. When she came alive with what to the ftc hunter was a very satisfactory scream, Perun dashed off to hide under a sofa until the lazy female had calmed down -laughing all the way. MoochiLove Keme pulled her to him tighter, humming softly as he rocked her slowly, closing his eyes and a happy smile on his face. He really couldn't remember the last time he felt so at peace then at that moment and he wished it wouldn't really end. But he jumps in surprise when he hears the scream and he tries to look out the door, "What is going on?!" he asks, annoyed their moment was basically ruined.
Azure looks very confused now, but nods and goes to climb her way to the top of the chair, laying down as she watchs. But she jumps into the air when the large female screams and she goes to hide off somewhere so she can get away and stay safe. Equally disappointed Relm blinks at the scream. "That sounded familiar..." Almost instantly she glanced at the ground for the cats. Not seeing either her mouth formed a small 'o' as Relm thought she had an inkling what had happened. Burying her face in Keme's sweater she began to laugh. "I think... I know... Perun..." She managed to gasp out. "Let's... bring Gwen... a cocoa... no milk."Then she dissolved into laughter again. "Like that is totally the most disgusting thing ever you, like, vile cannibal!" Perun shook with merriment at the audio's exclamations & sounds of "eeewww ewww! ick! There's, like, blood on it. eww." Glancing to see how Azure was enjoying the show the hunter almost panicked not seeing her. Worried he dashed out of his hiding place & followed her trail. [Azure? Azure?? Are you okay?] He mewed softly, lower than Gwen with her continued exclamations would be likely to hear. MoochiLove Keme looks around, a little confused over Relms sudden laughter, but when he notices the two FTC's absence as well as the sudden disappearance of the remains, he starts laughing along with her, finally getting on what set Gwen off. He nods his head, proceeding to fix her a cup of hot coco.
Azure quietly stole her way into one of the bathroom, hiding away in one of the bathtubs, curling up under the faucet, her tail wrapping around her like a blanket, not having liked the screaming at all.
Seeing her huddled there Perun mewed sadly, carefully hopping into the tub beside her. [Azure?] Concern flooded his being as he moved to encircle himself around her.MoochiLove Keme smiles and squeezes her hand lightly, walking out of the kitchen with her, his tail swinging happily. He pauses a few feet from Gwen, trying everything he can not to laugh at her. "Here you go Gwen, we brought you some hot chocolate!" he exclaims, holding the steaming mug out to her.
Azure flicks her tail up to let her look out and she mews as she watchs Perun curl himself around her and she moves her head to lay on the back of his neck, "Her loud noises scared me, I thought she might have attacked me!" she mews pitifully, settling her tail over his. The beach print audio paused mid- "eww" to blink at the offered mug. Relm fought a smile. "Like, thanks!" She accepted the drink with a smile. "Like, oh mah gawd. Can you belive that little, like, beast, like, totally eeewww!" As Gwen shuddered her sister picked up all the flung remains while trying to withhold a smile. Relm glanced from around her though once or twice at Keme, her eyes dancing with mirth. She was not sure whether she should kiss Perun for the entertainment or scold him for interrupting the moment she & Keme had been sharing. Perun purred his apology. [oh, 'zure... I should have warned you. She wouldn't hurt anything.] He could not help a small chuckle. [That one thinks no living creature should be hurt. The worst that could have happened was a badly flung shoe.] The hunter nuzzled his mate feeling incredibly guilty yet at the same time harboring enjoyment of Gwen's overreaction. MoochiLove Keme chuckled lightly, helping Relm pick up the scattered remains, "Don't be too hard on Perun, Gwen! I am sure he just wanted to entertain Azure for a bit after she fed. I'm sure didn't mean you any harm." he says, standing up and heading to the kitchen to throw the bits away, his tail swaying about and silently wondering where the mother cat had gotten off too.
Azure purrs as she nuzzles his neck, licking at his ears, "Well, I'm glad she didn't throw a shoe at me or stepped on my tail, I don't know what I would have done!" she mews.
Perun nuzzled her a bit more. [Let's find that soft place now, okay?] The hunter eyed the cold tub with disdain. Good for keeping cool in the summer... but not at all where he wanted his mate -the mother of his children- to be for long.Relm snorted softly with laughter at her beau's words, seeing that he was trying to smooth things over yet knowing that the cat hunter loved to torment Gwen everychance he got since he learned of her... issue. "Like whatever." Gwen sniffed, almost accepting Keme's explanation with a sip of cocoa as Relm left with him to the kitchen. She stared out the window, left alone again & not really seeming to notice much. MoochiLove "Ok!" she mews and licks his cheek before wiggling out of his curled up embrace and hopping to the top of the tub and hopping out, padding her way out of the bathroom. When she makes it back to the living area, she spies the wool coat Gwen left on the floor, especially when it was in the sunlight and keeping a good eye on Gwen, scared the large female would turn and scream at her, she steals her way to the coat and curls herself up on it, purring happily as she lays on her side, soaking in the sunlight.
Keme throws the remains away and goes to wash his hands, "And I thought Naruto and Rikku could be...airheads....is she really always like that?" he asks, turning to Relm, hoping she wouldn't get mad at him. Okay, Perun had guts... but even he would not go back to the scene of a crime like that and take the beach audio's seat while she was spaced! Still, he was not about to let anything happen to Azure, or leave her on her own -or worse: give any signs of weakness- so the hunter sauntered after her like everything that had happened before had not happened. He circled Azure once, to crease a spot for his body around her so that she would not be shifted then circled up with a satisfied purr with his head over her back. Eyes opened only to slits, he watched Gwen warily. As of yet, she had not seemed to notice them. But if she tried to sit on them... well, claws were a good thing to have. Perun grinned. Unable to contain the laughter she had been holding inside any longer, Keme's question was the last straw. She practically hooted with laughter. "Like that? No. No, usually she's worse."MoochiLove Azure purrs happily as the sunlight shines down on them both, yawning softly and closing her eyes to get her cat nap in, not giving Gwen any mind.
Keme leans against a counter and folds his arms in front of his chest, quirking his eyebrows, "Worse? She can be worse?!" he asks in a unbelieving tone. Gwen stepped backwards, elliciting a his from the cat hunter. The unexpected sound startled her. "Ee~ like, woah!" She tripped in surprise over a sleeve of the coat. Windmilling her arms she managed to flip over both cats & coat & fall spralled onto the sofa behind them. Holding her sides, Relm nodded. "One day, I bet she did not stop talking once. And there was not a one of us who when she did finally stop had any idea what she had been talking about."
Then she paused in her laughter to simply look at Keme & a smile just for him came to her lips. Whyever had it taken her so long to see how good he looked?MoochiLove "Haha, makes me wonder if Miranda would be able to keep up with her!" he says with a smile. But he blinks a few times when Relm stares at him like that and he isn't quite sure why. But he blushes and fiddles with his sweater, tugging on it a little so it isn't so tight on him.
Azure perked her head up when Perun hissed and she ducks it down when Gwen went sailing over them, but she doesn't move, staying in his 'embrace' and not bolting to keep herself and her babies safe.
As she spoke Relm walked closer to where Keme stood. When she was in front of him she put her hands on his where they were tugging at his sweater. "Don't." It was closer to a request or even a plea than a command. "You'll stretch it out." Dumb, Relm! "It looks good. You look good. I..."
She was not about to tell him she was getting ideas. Not when she was not ready for them herself. "... like it." Relm finished lamely, smiling up at him.Perun was very glad Azure had not bolted. He still checked her to see that she was okay as much as he could without his mate noticing. When Gwen moaned & whimpered from where she had landed he grinned & licked lightly at Azure's ear. MoochiLove Keme blushes when Relm puts her hands over his and he chuckles sheepishly, "Ok, I'll leave it alone..." he says. But he couldn't help but feel a thrill at the thought that Relm thought he looked good! He rubs at the back of his neck, his tail wagging behind him.
Azure lays her head down on Peruns neck, but keeps her eyes on Gwen, not sure what the large female will do and feeling too tense to go back to sleep now. But Gwen was not doing anything. It was almost as if the valley girl had worn herself out with her fits. She shuddered once, softly muttering "The poor little bunny..." Afterwards, a faint snore like the buzzing of bees could be heard. Perun nuzzled Azure, closing his eyes. [She's safe now. The worst she might do is roll off.] He smiled grooming a small spot of his mate's fur lovingly. [It's as good a time to rest as any.]"Good." Relm's smile seemed to turn a little shy and she breathed deeply. "Keme... what are you doing for Christmas?" She caught the edge of her lip between her side teeth nervously as her tail swished. MoochiLove Azure eyes her warily, but nods, yawning again as she settles herself down for a nap, nuzzling her head onto Peruns back, purring as she falls asleep.
Keme looked down at her and blinked, "Well, other then opening gifts with my family and having breakfast, nothing really?" he explains, his tail swaying.
"Maybe after breakfasts... or sometime in the afternoon... I, could see you? I mean, If your not busy." She wanted to duck her head in shame from her pathetic attempt at communication but her eyes remained riveted on Keme's beautiful brown eyes; a hopeful look within them.

[Insert quirky Title here] Page 2432 ((continued because Gaia changed the post character limit. -_-)) MoochiLove Keme smiled, "Well, sure!! Moochi said she will get us up early in the morning and breakfast will be pretty much a free for all, so I won't be sticking around for long!! Where did you want to meet? At my tree?" he asks, excited at the prospect of meeting Relm on Christmas.
Then she blinked, a thoughtful look just barely pushing the glaze from her eyes. "But when? Our breakfast will probably start at 8 or 9 o'clock. How early will Moochi be getting you up?"
A flash of a notion flared in her heart. if it was early enough, maybe she could ask him to breakfast still. Relm did not let herself hope yet -she knew 8am was early for many.MoochiLove Keme blushed at Relms look, but he rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "Well, more then likely we will all be up by 7, but I might get up early, cause everything and everyone will be a big ruckus. Kinda like organaized chaos I don't want to be in the middle of!" he says with a smile. MoochiLove Keme blinks and then smiles warmly at her, noting her blush and sudden shy nature, "Relm, I would be honored to have breakfast with you and your family on Christmas morning." he says softly, taking her hands in his. MoochiLove "Are you kidding me? Things will probably be so out of control, Moochi will probably be glad that I will be out of the house! I love you Relm, and I want to make you happy, and if me coming to your familes breakfast on Christmas makes you happy, then I am all for it!" he says with a nod and a loving smile.
"Oh Keme!!" She probably would have flung her arms around his neck, if her hands were not in his. Relm did hop up onto her toes, leaning into him -though their hands were between them- to kiss him.MoochiLove Keme quirks his eyebrows in surprise at her sudden giddiness, but he is very glad she leaned up to kiss him, and he lets her hands go to wrap his arms around her waist lightly, purring softly into their shared kiss. MoochiLove Keme wraps his arms a little bit tighter around her, but decides to let her control their kiss, which he was so very glad to let her do. His tail lightly wraps around her waist as well.
Blushing, she laughed a little -soft & light. She kept her lips bare millimeters away. "I'm not going to want to go, you know." She gave a happy little sigh, her tail circling around them the other way.MoochiLove Keme smiled sadly, "I know, but I got an errand to run soon and I don't want to keep you from you family. I'm wondering if I should leave Azure here or try to take her home?" he says, nuzzling his muzzle against her lightly. MoochiLove "Thats true, but Perun will go with her, he seems to be following her everywhere now a days, not that I can blame him." he says softly, pulling away enough to look down at her, a loving look in his eyes, "Have I ever said how beautiful you are?" he whispers. MoochiLove Keme wraps his arms around her as he holds her close, rubbing her back lightly as he nuzzles the top of her head, "Well you are....you're the most beautiful audio that I have ever had to the pleasure and honor to meet Relm." he whispers honestly, rocking her a bit. MoochiLove As much as he wanted to stay in that moment with Relm forever, he knew they would have to part for now. Pulling back, he smiles down at her again, "Come on, lets go check on our companions before we get going. Oh, did you want me to ask Naruto if he wanted to come along, I am not sure how Rikku would react if I showed up and Naruto didn't!" he says smiling, pulling out of their embrace, but taking her hand, walking out of the kitchen. He spots the dozing trio, smiling softly at the cats, feeling bad he will have to wake them all up. What was it about being around Keme that caused her to drop her nicknames for others? "She's been all excited about asking him over."Hearing voices, Perun opened an eye. [What do you want?] He meowed softly. MoochiLove Keme chuckles at the look Perun is giving them both, "Sorry Perun, but it's time for Azure to go home. You can come along if you want to stay with her." he says softly, kneeling down and rubbing at the females head gently, effectively waking her up from her nap. Relm giggled softly as Perun licked his mate before yawning and stretching as if the whole idea of waking up was the cat's own idea. [Of course I'll go with Azure. Can't protect her if I'm not there. He huffed, getting down from the coat mound with tail erect. Wish there was something to translate cats... The pictomancer mused at the look on Perun's face. With a sigh she reached down to wake Gwen. "Hey Bubbles. Wakey-Wakey! We've gotta go meet up with Timex & get home.""[yawn] Sure. Like, Whatever."MoochiLove Keme chuckles as he stands, watching as Azure woke up, yawned and stretched, mewing her hunger. He goes to find his own coat and slips it on, zipping it up as he starts to hum, a soft smile on his face, "Ok Relm, I guess I will see you all Christmas morning. I will try to bring Azure along so the rest of your family can see her." he comments. Perun nuzzled his mate. [I will hunt something for you on the way home.] He promises solidly. Relm smiled at the sound of the familiar humming while Gwen stretched & picked up her coat. "That would be terrific, Keme. Trelweny was wondering how she might entice Perun home for the morning other than the tenable promise of sausage."There was a scrapping sound not quite like a knock & Relm excused herself to go open it. Timex peeked his head inside. [Time to go, dear one.] "I know, Big Guy. We're just getting ready to." Gwen shrugged her coat on, starting to chatter about the warm spots on it. Looking in, Timex grinned seeing the others. [It's cold. I will take your Keme & the cats to Moochi's. If you do not mind riding Eiracelyn.] "Eiracelyn?" Another ninau whinnied behind Timex shaking a red mane. [Hello.] Relm blinked. "Okay. I expect a full explanation later. Hummer, looks like Timex is gonna give you guys a ride!" Now give me a kiss before we go!MoochiLove Keme pads over and is quite surprised to see another Ninau outside, but he smiles though, glad that they would be able to get home faster. He goes over to Relm and cups her face in his hands, soundly kissing her on the lips. When he pulls back, he smiles lovingly, "I'll see you later Relm. I love you." he whispers. Then, carefully scooping up the two cats, he goes over to Timex, nodding and smiling at the other Ninau before getting on board and getting a ride home.

I. Am. Never. Taking. Bubbles. Anywhere. Without. Someone. Else. Again. Never ever, ever. Not in a billion years, not in a billion worlds. Never.
At least when Perun showed up he made it that the rest of us could get a couple good laughs out of her. I swear that hunter cat has more intelligence in his tail than both the HouseCats put together have in their whole beings.
By the way, Keme told me Azure's carrying Perun's babies!! Now for other cats I would need proof -but Perun's so adorably protective of the little black, white, & blue female that I can't doubt it.
Keme asked what I thought their babies would be like, since the parents are so outdoorsie. It... got me thinking about... well... what our children would be like. I don't know. I'm not sure if I'm the mother type. I've never really thought much about a family of my own before. But with Keme...
No. I'm not ready. I'm still getting used to us. I'm still getting used to being in love. I'm not ready for anything beyond hugging & kissing...
Espers, but Hummer looked desirable in that tight dark green sweater today!
O_O I just wrote that, didn't I. e_e Sometimes knowing what I know... it's not an advantage. Now that I'm having these thoughts and feelings myself it's a bit harder to play the innocent. Not that I still couldn't do it, mind you.
Anyway...
Good news!!! Keme's going to join us for Christmas Breakfast! And we're going to go to his tree afterward! I'm so excited. It's hard for me to believe it.... I'm just so glad! I can hardly wait! heart

Hummer told me... he's always wanted to treat me the way he feels I deserve. It's... it's hard to believe. Oh! I believe him! I do! I guess it's just hard for me to conceive that he cared so much for me then... that he wanted to be able to give me what I wanted -what I needed- all that time ago. It makes me wonder if I'm really that shallow -to have chased after a mirage when something better than the dream was right there... waiting. But maybe I would not have been ready to love him, then. Maybe I had to hurt myself to see. I don't know. I'll probably never know. It doesn't loom over me like a shadow, but it does make me wonder.
As for my dear Hummer's sweet words? I know they'll keep me warm on nights I can't be in his arms.

He liked my gift! He liked my gift! He liked my gift! heart
I'd hoped he'd like the ipod, but I was worried Keme might find the songs I picked silly... I should have known him better than that. He's sweet like that. And thoughtful. Like the bracelet he gave me shows. To have thought of something so sweet... so perfect...
I love the way the light reflects off of it. I love the little charms that shout that they belong to me... that they were made for me. But more, I love it because Keme gave it to me. Because Keme thought it up, and had it made. I love it because on those days we're apart and I start to feel dejected all I have to do is look at it or just catch the light reflected from it to be reminded of my Hummer's love.
I have to remember that little Russian Coffee House & Bakery. I know Trel will love it as much as Keme and I did. The old man there was so sweet...

Multiple Relm Dilemma Page 2658Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Relm wandered into the shop, bundled in the warmth of her white mage sphere, obviously using the SphereGrid Rikku had put together for her. Glancing around, she soaked everything in, though it did not seem she was really seeing anything at all. Pulling something from her pocket as she walked further into the shop Relm studied it with a very contemplative air.
After a while she made her selection & activated the spheregrid. Though the colors of red & green from her normal outfit remained there was no trace of white & only a scattering of yellow. Black predominated this outfit -particularly the large rather pointed hat. Relm had wanted something different, and for her the black mage felt that.
With a sigh Relm took her staff in hand & plopped herself on her belly across one of the sofas. Resting her head on a folded arm she gazed out at nothing, apparently intent on watching how the top of her staff caught the light as she spun the shaft in her hand as her arm dangled off the side of the sofa. MoochiLove The door to the shop opened up and after a moment, closed and Keme shivered a bit as he pulled the hood of his coat off his head. He shook his head a little bit and took the earbuds connected to his IPod from under his headphones and he stops the music, scrolling through the music that was on it as he wanders his way into the living area, not realizing right away that someone else was there. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf The pictomancer must be really out of it, perception wise. Her ear flicks at the sound of the door opening & then closing but she does not even turn to see who has entered. Not even that it is the one she loves.
Her knees bend, raising red booted feet -black stockings to her knees- to kick back & forth slowly through the air above her. She continues to spin her staff, gazing at it as if mesmerized. MoochiLove Keme finally looks up from his ipod and stops his walk when he sees Relm, laying down, legs kicking about in the air, "R-Relm?" he asks, not sure if it is her due to the outfit. It looked a little familiar, probably from one of Naruto's never ending talks of Rikku. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "Hummer?" There is no mistaking the hopeful sound in her voice, or the love in her light green eyes as they seek the beloved brown eyes of the male belonging to the voice that stirred her thoughts from whatever held them in thrall. There was also something clearly off about her. Nothing dark or sad... just a sense of being lost somehow. Relm lay the staff upon the floor, removing her pointed hat she placed it carefully on top of the staff, before twisting her torso -half raising her chest from the cushions to smile softly at the hummingbird male. "I'm glad you're here, Keme." MoochiLove Getting over his shock at seeing her in a skirt, he smiles softly and goes to kneel in front of her, "Heya Relm, didn't expect to see you here, but I am glad you are. I...really missed you." he says lightly, reaching a hand up to carrass her cheek with his fingers. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Her eyes softly flutter close at the caress and she leans into it, savoring the feel. The faintest -very faintest- trace of a purr began. She tilted her head to lightly kiss his fingers before placing her cheek against them once more. "Hummer... you always say exactly what I need to hear."
Her eyes fluttered back open and Relm gazed softly into the male's eyes. "I missed you too, Keme."
Twisting a little more so that her back arm can hold her in her current position Relm moves her now free hand to lightly hold Keme's in place by her cheek. MoochiLove Keme smiles lovingly and he blushes lightly when she kissed his fingers. When she twisted about, he leaned down and kissed her lips lightly, his tail wagging about behind him. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf That was exactly what she needed. Her eyes closed as Relm sighed into the kiss, purr stronger now. Her tail wagged once before resting against the back of the sofa -thankfully having an opening for it in the far-too-short skirt that she wore as a black mage.
"I would've come to you sooner..." Relm murmured softly when the kiss ended. "But things recently became rather interesting at home." MoochiLove He moves about so he is sitting on the floor, his back leaning on the couch itself, but he keeps his head turned so he is still look at Relm, his tail flicking up and down, unzipping his coat since he felt a little warm now. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf She lets her hand slide down with Keme, resting lightly on him. "Hummer... is it true what Blondie & Zell have been yammering about? Are there really two Naruto's in your family? But different species?"
It was not what was on her mind, and from the almost distant glaze that had shadowed her eyes it might be noticeable. But it was close... and truthfully the pictomancer could not think how to broach the subject of what was bothering her any other way. MoochiLove Keme rolled his eyes and leaned his head back, closing his eyes, "God yes, I try to never be in the same room when they are both of them are together, especially when they both start talking about Rikku." he says, not seeing right away that something may have been bothering Relm. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf That startled her enough that she momentarily forgot what was bothering her. "Both?" She repeated incredulously. Rikku's beau she could understand, but the tala pup? MoochiLove "Well, the Tala Naruto doesn't like Rikku like that, but he likes it when he holds her and basically agrees with anything Audio Naruto says." he says, opening his eyes and looking to Relm. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Relm chuckled softly at the thought of anyone -even a pup Naruto- agreeing with everything Naruto said. Then just as suddenly as she started she stopped, finding herself staring into the brown pools of Keme's eyes.
Her eyes softened. "Hummer... Keme... What would you say if I told you there were others... like me?" The corner of her lip found its way into Relm's mouth & she nibbled on it nervously. MoochiLove Keme's eyes seemed glued on her lips for a few seconds, especially when she nibbled on it like that, but he snapped out of that quickly, "Like you? Like...Naruto?" he asks, tilting his head a bit. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Her eyes moistened softly. Relm could not seem to find her voice. She just watched Keme, and nodded. MoochiLove Keme blinks at her, concern filling his brown orbs and he turns fully to face her, "Relm, what's wrong, whats the matter?" he asks, gently cupping her face. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf She closed her eyes then opened them again both very slowly. Drawing in a shaky breath Relm answered in a quiet voice that shook the tiniest bit through her usually clear alto. "It's just... I've always thought I was an individual. That I was unique. But now there are two more of me in my family. Two more of me... they're like me... but they're not, somehow." Her eyes never left Keme's as she spoke as if afraid that if she looked away, she would not. MoochiLove Keme listened and he wrapped his arms around her, "But you are unique Relm. Yes the two Naruto's at home are same, but they are also different in some ways. Just like the Relms at your home are different from you!" he whispers softly. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Relm sniffled slightly into his embrace. She gave up holding herself up to be able to wrap her arms around Keme & squeeze him tight as well as she could from her odd angle. "Do you really think so, Keme? It's so odd having others around that know what I know; that have the same memories I do. But if you think so, then I will to!" somehow. MoochiLove Keme rubbed her back the best he could, hoping he could give her some type of comfort, and wondering if he could understand, "You all may have the same memories, but their life here will be vastly different from yours. They don't have the memories you gained when you came here, they don't know everyone you know out of your family, they will probably grow differently from you, so in a way, they won't be you, they will just look the same and have your name." he says softly. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Her eyes started to lose their sad cast, growing thoughtful once more. "That's right... they're like I was when Rikku & I first joined the family. They both know up to a point... and then nothing. Just as my memories stop not long after I was twelve..."
She shifted into Keme's rubbing hands, grateful for their comfort. "Hopefully they won't make the same mistakes I made..."
Leaning forward she touched her nose to his. "Now I almost feel sorry for them." Relm murmured, her tail swaying lightly over her back against his arms. MoochiLove Keme smiled lightly as he rubbed his nose against hers, "Now there's the Relm I know and love! You feel better?" he asks gently, still rubbing her back. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf "Hmmm." She replied with a tenuous smile, though her light green eyes sparkled with love. "You've always had a way of making me feel better, Hummer." MoochiLove Keme smiled and brushed some hair from her face, "I always try my best for you Relm." he whispers, kissing her nose before pulling back. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Relm pulled slowly back herself, lightly trailing the border of white on his face. She was not certain how to respond to that so for a long time simply smiled. Only then did it down on her that Keme was sitting on the floor. She laughed at herself. "And always putting yourself in uncomfortable positions it would seem."
Her head nod indicated how Keme sat upon the ground as she curled her knees underneath her & sat up. "Come sit with me a while, won't you, Keme?" Then ducking her head almost shyly, "I'm not ready to leave you quite yet & I can't bear the though of you sitting on the hard floor." MoochiLove He was about to protest that he was fine, he was comfortable, he was used to it, but he wasn't about to turn up the chance to sit next to his girl! He quickly hopped up from the floor and sat next to Relm, smiling. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Pleased by this turn of events & her own shift of attitude, Relm ducked beneath Keme's arm & snuggled into his chest. "I love you, Keme. Thank you." MoochiLove Keme blushed lightly as he wrapped his arm around Relm's shoulders, "I love you too Relm. And no problem." he says softly, nuzzling the top of her head, "I gotta say, you look really cute!" Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Tilting her head to look up at Keme she grinned. Relm's entire posterior moved a little from side to side as her tail wagged happily. She purred at the compliment, even as she gave him a purely "innocent" look. "Really? I picked it because I thought it was different."
Dipping her head shyly Relm looked back up at Keme through her lashes. "I'm glad you like." MoochiLove Keme blushed brightly and rubbed the back of his head with his free arm, "W-w-well, it suits you!!" he stutters out, smiling sheepishly. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Relm giggled. "You're so cute when you stutter, Keme!" She teased gently, placing her palms flat against his chest. MoochiLove Keme blushed even hotter, rubbing at his muzzle nervously, "Y-you think so?" he stuttered again, not realizing he was doing it. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Her eyes glimmered and she nodded with much enthusiasm, causing her light brown curls to bounce haphazardly around her face. Relm purred softly, feeling oddly content considering how moments ago she had been so worried about not being unique. She raised a little from where she had been sitting back on her heels to lightly press her torso to Keme's, her thoughts revolving around the comfort of being close to him. She was grinning as he stuttered more, lovingly taking in his blush & the nervous rub of his muzzle as if to make the blush go away somehow. How'd I ever get so lucky to earn your love, Hummer? Relm thought again, as she often did with wonder at Keme's gift. Light flickered catching silver & diamonds on her wrist -the charm bracelet having remained regardless of changing DressSpheres. "I don't just think so, Hummer... I know so." MoochiLove Keme's blush seemed to grow, any white fur on his face looking red. He chuckles nervously as he looks down, noting happily she was still wearing the bracelet he had made for her. When she pressed against him, he tightened his arm around her shoulders, nuzzling the top of her head and purring gently. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf Relm merred happily, feeling his arms tighten about her. She closed her eyes with a soft sigh as Keme nuzzled her head as she tucked it under his chin. "You're absolutely wonderful, Hummer." Relm whispered tenderly into his neck as she breathed in his scent with a soft smile on her face. MoochiLove "Hehe, no I'm not, I'm just me." he whispers softly, gently leaning his head on top of hers, enjoying the feel of her in his arms again, his tail shifting about to wrap around her waist. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf She was tempted to pull back -to look at him sternly as she insisted. But she did not wish to pull away for any reason. Smoothing her hands across Keme's chest she slipped under his arms so that she could hold Keme close. Relm rubbed her nose against his neck, her tail softly swaying behind her & to the side where it sometimes brushed Keme's knees. "Yes you are." Relm murmured into his neck, giggling as the fur there tickled her nose as she breathed on it with her words. "Just you is wonderful." Her purr intensified and her tail swayed to a stop to rest upon Keme's lap. MoochiLove For some reason, he could feel his heartbeat increasing as she nuzzled his neck and whispered against the skin there and he gulps lightly. But he keeps his arms where they were, continuing to nuzzle the top of her head, "I think you are wonderful just as you are." he whispers back. Trelweny RosePhoenixWolf The tip of her tail flicked lightly in his lap in response. Relm hugged him tightly, nearly burying her face in Keme's neck. She felt wonderfully lightheaded. Unable to find anything to say, Relm purred with more feeling.
