I think this would only work with a child or a small person:
Kid is in an airport with his mom/dad/related individual, wanders off, sees a helicopter at some remote-ish location on the tarmac. Kid happily explores helicopter, and then falls asleep in the back amongst supply boxes for the island. James doesn't see, (Maybe the kid falls asleep under a tarp or in a luggage rack. . . ) and he pilots the 'copter to the island. Poor kid.
Poor Moreau. He now has a hyperactive little kid hanging onto the edge of his labcoat. Dx
The only problems with this is why Moreau didn't invest more in security on the mainland airport and why they wouldn't just send the kid back, as he hadn't really seen anything and no one would believe him anyways.

The kid has to be 5-8 years old biggrin and makes a complete mess of the labs (throwing stuff, mixing things, releasing animals) which winds Moreau up so badly, he loses his temper and gives him a serum. twisted Of course Aubury doesn't find out until later and that might cause a tiff between them...
@Brass: Tommy was in a airplane crash, so that's sortof the same

Maybe he goes about pissing off Sabin instead, since he's the one that greets many of the incoming experimentees, and therefore is more likely to meet the kid first. Get underfoot, muck up the intended islander's introduction, poke fun at Sabin's unusual appearance. Blinding bermuda shorts! Kid'll get one nasty serum. D:

Ya, that would be pretty funny. Here's another idea:
Someone gets a forged letter from their boss/manager or something, offering sponsorship to an island vacation as a reward for their hard work or something. At least, that's what i'm planning to use for my new character. He's currently training to enter the Papal Guard, and receives a forged letter from the Kommandant sponsoring a vacation to an island to reward him for how well he's doing in training.
If anyone wants to see my new character idea, mine is the 'Papal Guard' thread. I thought he would make an interesting character.
