Macyn smiled at Sauda's wrapping paper. " You can put the preseants through there." He said pointing to the room he'd seen all the other gifts in. Stuffing his hands in his pocket's he looked around, this was alot different then how it was when he grew up, hell he never had parties. But it was nice to be invited to one.

Kiki's eyes darted over Sauda's face, lingering on her hair longest of all. She was like a pretty little girl version of Theif, except her eyes were more yellow, and her hair was...green! And not just a little, all of it! Kiki loved the color, and was slightly amazed {despite the fact that she had seen people with pink hair, with purple hair, with other unnatural color such as that}. This Sauda girl's hair was an even brighter green than Kilayla's shirt!
After Soco introduced her, Kilayla smiled politely, because Theif said it was important to make good impressions, only she forgot sometimes. Then, Soco asked what the little green-haired girl's name was, and Kiki giggled up at him. "She said her name was Sauda, silly rabbit!" Kilayla then looked back over to her as Theif laughed and shook his head. "Your hair is really pretty, Sauda. And you can call me Kiki, if you want." She smiled again, only this time, it was slightly shy. She'd never really met another person her age.

Soco decided he should always wear a perpetual expression of embarrasment as Kiki pointed out his mistake. "Sorry, sorry," he said, bowing once more. "It must be something in the water; we're all a little bit 'off,' today." He glanced over at Adrian, again.
Kaleb finally stepped forward, addressing his guardian in hushed tones. "Lighten up. It's your son's birthday."
"I know," the young man murmured, not meeting Kaleb's eyes. "Sorry."
"Don't apologize to me; it ain't my party, and these are only kinda-sorta my guests." Kaleb huffed. "You planned this thing, you invited them, now, quit being a crab until they leave."
"Sorry," Adrian repeated. "Are we almost ready?"
"Yeah. As soon as Mal gets here, we'll start doin' stuff."
(( Technically, it's as soon as I'm sure more than just me is around to RP. o.o; Really, this event may just go on for a few more days, and we'll see how it ends. If enough people are on at once, we'll give the games a go. If not... well... *shrugs* ))

(( Sorry about that. confused ; ))
Adrian started as he found himself enveloped from behind. Ah, the drunken lady. "I'm just..." He paused to take a deep breath, trying to word his response. "Stressed. That's all. I tend to take it out on others, so I apologize for being so curt earlier."
Kaleb wandered into the kitchen, again, leaving Adrian and Soco to fend for themselves.

Sauda smiled gently at the mention of the girl's name. "Kilayla...that's a pretty name." She meant it, too. She glanced at Macyn, then looked at the room. "Oh, okay." That made more sense, instead of carrying it around and possibly losing it. Tsunake was happy to volunteer, taking the bag from her daughter and giving her a gentle pat on the head. "Don't worry kiddo, I got it."
She offered a grateful smile at her mother, not wanting to have to leave the little circle just yet. She was quite content to stay here with these new people. "I'm sorry sir, but I didn't get your name either." She apologized to Soco, bowing her head forward slightly. She'd feel more at ease if she knew his name.
Realizing she was being studied, Sauda straightened, fighting back a hint of nervousness. This girl looked nice; she wouldn't judge her, right? In turn, Sauda let her eyes curiously look over Kilayla. She was so very pretty...her hair was curled with ringlets, and her eyes seemed so very big and bright. A blush spread across her dark cheeks, and Sauda smiled shyly at her feet. "Thank you Kiki. I like your hair too...how do you make it do that?" She twirled one finger in her own green locks, as though demonstrating.

"Ah, I'm Soco," the boy-maid said, extending his free hand to her. "It's nice to meet you, Sauda. I'll be back in just a moment."
He gave Kiki's hand another squeeze before releasing it. He stepped over to the table and removed the bouquets from their vases. He then began going around and giving a flower or two to each of the guests, thanking them for coming to the party. "If you'd like, you may leave your flowers in the vases until you leave," he told them.
There were still several large bouquets left behind in the vases.

Upon adopting young Jazzie, Dizzy had begun to pick up on talk about children such as her in her bar. She'd never noticed before but now she fuond it was a useful source of information. Through this source she had gained knowlage of some sort of shenanigans going on for a young man's birthday. Open to anyone Dizzy had decided it would be an excellent way to get Jazzie out and meeting people.
So there the both of them stood, infront of the large house, feeling rather intimidated. "This....is the right address. We might as well go on up" Dizzy took the young girl's hand and they approached the house. Dizzy leaned down and whispered to Jazzie. "See Jazzie, this is why people go to school. Earn yourself a lot of money and live nice like this. Or marry rich, but don't count on that one." Dizzy knocked on the door a few times and waited.
Jazzie's eyes roamed all over the property, taking in everything from the bushes lining the driveway, to the broken window. She leaned over, trying to peek through said window and see inside. She could see a few people milling about but she couldn't get at a good angle to really see them, a pout spread across her young face.

Kilayla looked after Soco breifly as he went, then turned her attention back to Sauda. Theif bent down near her and wispered into her ear, "I'm going to go talk with some others...be good." He wandered off, too.
Kiki smiled as Sauda complimented her name and her hair. She smiled even more brightly as Sauda began to blush! Kilayla knew that that was what it was because she'd made Theif's face turn much the same color many times before. But why was she blushing? Did Kiki say something embarrassing?
The thought left her head as the green-haired girl opposite her asked Kiki how she 'made it do that.' Kilayla only tilted her head and giggled. "Curl?" she asked. "It does that all by itself!"

Through the window, Soco spotted someone outside and he dashed to the front door. He opened it, revealing a woman and a pouting young girl. "Hello!" he said cheerily, stepping back and bowing. "Please, come in!"

Dizzy smiled happy at the man who had opened the door. "Thank you! She stepped through the door and turned, holding out her hand. "Hello! My name is Dizzy, and this one's Jazzie." She twitched her head in the young girl's direction.
Jazzie was off in another world though, where were girls here! Her age! Just like it was before! She skipped up to them boldly. "Hello! I'm Jazzie!" Her hands clasped behind her back as she rocked cheerfully onto her heels. She was in her plain white dress, with a small blue and purple knit scarf wrapped around it as a belt.

"I'm Soco; it's very nice to meet you," he said, clasping the offered hand. "Welcome to the Kanth and Karlet mansion. Please, make yourself at home." He bowed his head quickly. "Before you join the others, would you like to sign our guestbook?" He gestured to the small table behind him where the book was sitting.
He smiled at Jazzie's retreating figure as the girl skittered off into the dining room. He hoped that the others would help make her feel welcomed.

Dizzy nodded." Sure! Oh, and before I forget," she dug a small envelope from her pocket, on the front in sharpie she'd scrawled, Happy Birthday." That's for the Birthday Kid." She then took a few steps to the book and looked at it. She flipped quickly through the past pages before whipping out a pen and scrawlign her own message in. Quote: Hey Kid Young Man, I haven't acctually met you yet but from the sound of it, you're a pretty awesome guy. I hope this year rocks your world. Can't wait to meet you. -- Dizzy & Jazzie She finished their names with a florish and bit her lip. "I hope he can read my handwriting!" She joked, looking at her angeled mess.

"Ah, thank you very much," Soco said, taking the envelope. He closed the door and stayed close to it as the woman -- Dizzy -- wrote in the notebook. "I'm sure he'll be able to read it just fine," he assured her with a smile. He bowed again, holding a hand out in a gesture to let her enter the dining room before himself. "This way, please. Malachite, the birthday boy, should be down momentarily."
(( I'll be afk for a little bit; got things to do. >.<;;; I'll try and be back on later, and see who's around then. heart ))
