Seeing that this people wouldnt cause her too much annoyance like most of the world seemed to be against her, she sat down against a tree, her back and arm muscles relaxing as she laid her hand on the child of the foerst.
Taken her other hand she slipped her slender fingers up and around the bow, the aarows on her side, and put it on top of her lap. Pulling her legs up closer to her she unhooked a dagger from her boots and started to work on a branch nearby, slowly and steadily turning it into a minature spike. When she was done she drove the pointed end into the ground right beside her. If anyone gets too close to my pack I will hear them break this. Trisha thought to herself as she let her eyes fall closed.

Kai walked through the forest. He had a book writen in aceint language in one hand and bag slung over his shoulder, it had a few toren holes in it and bookends could be seen sticking out. Kai walked as he read, fliping the pages with his thumb. Kai stoped at the edge and looked down from his book. Kai shruged and put the book away in the bag. Kai walked along the grass, it wasn't too hot today due to the refreshing breeze that was constant. Kai grined revealing a fang or two here and here in his mouth instead of flattened teeth like humans. "It seems the past always repeats itself. People sometimes relize this but ignore it." Kai shook his head as he walked looking at the ground. "Tidal..... Heh." Kai laughed to himself. "Your scars run deep even in myth." Kai took out a map from the bag. "Now wheres the nearest town." kai located himself and the town and headed out.
Kai soon found himself in town. He looked aorund. "I wonder whats for sale." Kai said as he passed a few stores. Kai pulled out a small bag and jugeled it in one hand. "A pretty good amount." kai said shruging and puting the bag away.

A little put out that all she got for her entrance was a small and sleepy response she simply replaced her hood and dropped crosslegged to the ground, wrapped in her cloak, sending Kyr to an overhead branch with an indignant squawk. She leaned back against the trunk and began rummaging in her pockets. She produced a dagger and a whetstone and proceeded to sharpen the weapon with a rythmic Shwihnk noise. It calmed her nerves and put her into a half trance that allowed her to rest but remain awake as she studied those around her.

Eni blushed slightly at the words of the singing girl, she didn't think she had caught her name yet. But then again, Eni told herself it was probably she didn't understand her words. She felt more embarassed when the singing girl started talking slower to her. She puffed her cheeks in a little fit. She wasn't stupid! She just couldn't comprehend their language.
Sitting down at the spot that Blade intended for Eni, Eni finally remembered that her arms were tucked inside her robe. She must had looked like a deformed human to the group. Pulling her arms out slowly and quietly, Eni stared at the grass to avoid more embarassment.
Then another girl came next to her and said a word, "Hi." Eni raised an eyebrow but quickly gasped and smiled and repeated, "Hi." In her hometown, they had a different word for greeting. Why was her world so different from this one? But she supposed that was what happened to outcasts of society. They were chased away and in spite, they created a brand new world with no trace of the existing one.
Eni watched one boy wandered off while the other one trailed off to sleep. She didn't want to make herself more foreign but since she had lived in a cave with a group of women for so long, the male species was a mystery to her. Of course, she was part man herself but not a full one. Then there was always that problem of her orientation... Did she like boys or girls? Thinking all this made Eni's head dizzy.
Eni sulked herself into the embrace of the Wind Spirit for a while and listened to its words. It told her to be strong and travel along these humans. The spirit promised to watch over her. Then the spirit brought the voice of the Water to her ears. It comforted her and told it was alright to be away from home, away from people who you loved and who loved you in return. It told her she'd find new loves, it promised.
Eni smiled a little and nodded her head, thanking the spirits as they returned to their duties. She looked at Rina and asked with a sweet smile, "Your... name call? Es... um... is Eni!" She gave off a small excited giggle. Her complete, grammatically correct sentence. It was worth celebrating at least in Eni's eyes.

Rina grinned hearing Eni speak. She found it funny the way she talked, but she found it more exciting to have someone from a different place. The sky-blue-eyed girl wanted to make her feel right at home. "Rina. It's great to meet you Eni." Rina grinned. "Eni is a very pretty name." She said in a slow pace. Faster then the way Blade spoke before, but very slow for Rina.

Blade slept for quite a while, unmoving from her spot even though she did wake up several times. Blade slept until she felt most of her energy return, which actually wasn't very long. She was used to getting a short amount of sleep. That was how a spawn hunter had to do it. You couldn't spend hours sleeping. You had to sleep and then wake up as soon as possible. Even though Blade knew that the others probably wouldn't wake up for a while she was still stuck in the habit of going to sleep late and waking up extremely early. Lovely life, really. Blade could really only get a good long sleep if she stopped at an inn and slept in a warm, soft, comfortable bed. Nothing could quite beat sleeping on a bed. Although she had had several cases where she'd gotten so used to sleeping on the ground that she would just end up sleeping on the floor instead.
Blade sat up and stretched, looking over at Eni and Rina and gave them a small smile and a quick wave before standing up. She was dried off now, or at least her clothes were. Her hair was still damp, but since it was so short she hardly even noticed. Blade reached down and grabbed her things, which was mainly just her belt and her two swords. She gave Eni and Rina a wink at the same time as she stood up as a silent way of telling them that she would be back. Then Blade walked off into the trees, not bothering to look up at the those who were lurking there. She traveled for a while, far enough to where the sight and sound of the crackling fire had died off. Once she'd traveled a good distance Blade put one of her swords on her back and kept the other one her hand and began practicing with it. She could vaguely remember nearly killing herself with one of these swords when she'd first gotten them. She'd also had to use two hands because it'd been too heavy for her. The swords were long and heavy, but different from a normal sword. Because Blade could hold the sword at its center the weight distrubited itself to where she could move it faster than she could with any normal sword if it were the same weight. Pretty nifty, but you still had to be careful.
Blade had been practicing when she'd suddenly paused, sensing something in the air. She spun around with her sword out in front of her only to see nothing but thin air. She, however, knew better. The second that she saw that there was nothing in front of her she'd turned around just in time to dodge the spawn that had been moving through the air at her. She moved off to a side, narrowly missing the long claws of the ocean blue spawn. The spawn landed and then turned around, its tail flickering as it stared at her. The water spawn. It took the form of something that appeared as if it belonged in the water with its long elegant body which glimmered as the moon light touches its scales. Its four legs were long as well, with paws that were clawed but also webbed. Despite the fact that the spawn was a thing of evil, it was actually beautiful. Or at least if someone didn't know what it actually was. Blade grabbed the other sword on her back and placed it in front of her, locking her eyes with the spawns. The spawn's eyes were a dark glassy black while Blade's were sharp, vivid icy blue. After a few moments of staring at one another the spawn's tail twitched, brushing up against the ground as it opened its mouth to reveal the hundreds of sharp teeth that stood in precise rows inside of its mouth.
"You can't scare me." Blade snapped back before she ran forward and then swung one sword out at the spawn. The spawn drew back and hissed, and suddenly its body melted into water. The water fell and drained into the ground, however Blade was too damn stubborn to just give up there. She put her swords away and then her own body transformed into black smoke and then formed with the shadows, and within moments it followed the trail of the spawn. The spawn went to the nearest water source: The lake. Blade followed but had to avoid getting hit by the camp fire light, however within movements she was back inside the water. The spawn itself reformed, taking its solid form at the deepest parts of the water so it couldn't be seen. Blade manipulated the shadows around it, making the spawn become trapped within the dark depths. The spawn sent out a current of its energy which knocked Blade out from her spot. Blade gritted her teeth in pain against the heavy pressure that pushed itself against her before turning herself into a shadow again. She couldn't stay down here or else she'd die. Just as the spawn got ready to swim off Blade ordered the shadows to push the spawn strait out of the water, which was exactly what they did. Then Blade shot herself out of the water soon after the spawn had been thrown out. A long black streak of shadows shot itself out from the water and then turned into curling black smoke. The smoke took form again and Blade reappeared, flying unhappily through the air. Blade cupped her hands in front of her and then sent out a string of fire out at the spawn, which sent her backwards. She landed painfully on the hard ground, the spawn letting out an angry screech as it was thrown to the ground, burned by the flames.
"Ow! My ******** head...." Blade growled before she forced herself up, swaying for a moment against her head rush. Blade didn't like to display her powers, however if it was between a choice between dieing, killing a spawn, or keeping her powers a secret, Blade was certainly not going to take the last option. She glanced back at the others for a split second, knowing that anyone who had been sleeping would be rudely interrupted by the chaos that had currently appeared.

Eni repeated Rina's name with her tongue. It sounded like a beautiful word to her but she didn't know if it was. Then Rina said her name was beautiful and it made Eni smiled a little bitterly. Eni was short for Enitan, which was a boy's name in her hometown. It meant person of story; it was fitting for someone like Eni, she was a story. A hated creature in a fairy tale. There was no prince charming waiting for the girl, only the shining blade of deliverance.
But Eni told herself not to let the words of the villagers bring her down. It was a sign of weakness and acceptance. Her attention drifted to Blade when she woke up and winked at them. Eni didn't know what the quick snapping of an eyelid meant, it didn't look too friendly. She almost thought Blade was insulting her. Bringing her knees up to her chin, Eni pouted and grumbled something in her dialect.
When the Blade girl wandered off, Eni couldn't help but felt something bad was about to happen. The corner of her eye saw the ripples in the lake and she was definitely confident that a lurking evil was about show its ugly face. Eni wasn't a fighter even though she carried two oversized weapons. She mainly used them to frighten off highwaymen who took interests in her small build. She looked like an easy target and she admitted it. But Eni Sayen wasn't a push-over.
Standing up and brushing herself off, Eni watched the lake as she invoked the water spirit to tell her what was going on. But the spirit didn't answer, instead, she watched black smokes appearing and disappearing. It was so confusing. What in the world was happening in this forest baffled the foreign girl. She hugged herself as Blade came hurling down to the ground. She titled her head, should she help? She couldn't know what to do anyways. So Eni made the decision to stand and watch the Blade girl battled the one she dubbed Shining Evil.

Rina deeply listened to Eni speak in her tongue. She was very curious on what she was saying. She smiled back at Blade when she awoke. The girl wondered were she was going, but didn't ask. She found out the hard way not to ask too many questions to strangers.
Rani and Rina had met a very livily traveler when they frist started their journey. Rina grew to like him quiet well. She badgered him with questions untill he finally threatened to kill her. Rani quickly got rid of him then. She hadn't asked many questions since then.
Because Rina was deep in thought she didn't notice when Eni stood. Only hearing Blade curse got Rina's attention. She toke in the fact that shadows were attacking a spawn to deep consideration. She knew of no one who could control shadows. That fact was new to her, but the girl noticed it was the water spawn that had attacked.
Quickly, Rina stood and took up her bow and arrows. She ran to Blade only to stop five feet away. "Want any help?" She asked as she readied her bow with an arrow.
Rani, who was only ten yards away hear the fighting. He got back quickly to see the fight. The moment he saw the spawn, he sent flames at the spawn. Not really caring if Blade had a plan. He knew spawns were tricky and that you had to deal with them fast.

Aiko closed her eyes scanning her thoughts over one more time before allowing her hands to drop to her side. She lowered her head trying to keep herself from getting trapped in her mind again. As her mind began to clear she finally began to hear the voices of the people in the camp. The music stopped for a moment and begins again. Once she opened her eyes another person had showed up in the group. Her eyes trailed to their fire thinking about its warmth. A fire sound nice and welcoming but it wasn't her place to intrude in any way.
Aiko finally turned from the group and began to walk away. Her soaked hair hugged onto her body. She took her time putting one foot in front of the other until she was in the trees and cover of the forest. A soft warm wind pressed against her skin reminding her that she was cold. She kicked over a small rock while she walked picking up sticks to burn. She carried them in her left arm while she bent over to pick up another stick. It no longer matter how she gotten where she was as long as she was out of that cave.
After gathering wood to burn she began to look for a spot to camp out. She walked for some time and the sound of the music died down. She could no longer hear them and came to a wide open grass field. A smile couldn't help but make its way across her face. She was over joy to see something other then rocks. The deep navy blue sky seems wide and never ending. She came to a small dirt circle and tossed the sticks down. Her body air dried by now but her clothes was still damp.
With much difficulty Aiko managed to light the pail a blaze. She grin setting in the grass next to the fire making sure that it didn't reach the grass. Her eyes then moved up to her surroundings once again looking at the trees off into the distance. Shadows creped behind them hiding anything to be seen. She pulled her knees to her chest resting her chin on her knee caps staring at the fir in a daze.
Recapping in her mind what had happen. The last thing she remembered was coming to a dead in the cave. Turning around to some type of creature one that she had never seen before. Maybe if she paid attention in her studies she may have know what it was. Then the next then she knew she was under water in a forest. She sighed, now that she wasn't moving and staidly getting warm she realized how tired she was.
She groaned rolling on her back and stretched her legs out. Wind blows her dry hair about on her head with the grass. The stairs were beautiful and beyond words. "A wonderful night," she smiled pushing aside her troubles. It wasn't safe to start a fire in the wide open grass filed something that could cause much attention to herself. Aiko then turned on her side looking at the small fire. After a while she noticed that the fire was dieing down. She smiled warm and comfortable closing her eyes. Slowly she fell asleep to tire to do anything other.
In her mind she thought of her mother words.
Think of yourself as a tree growing in the forests. The people that you associate with, are the leaves that attach and grow from you. Understand that the leaves come and go. Just as people will come and go. Know who are the people who are there to come in go. Your roots are the people who will always be with you And help you grow. Your family is your roots. There to nourish and love you.
Tears escaped her closed eye lids instantly drying by the passing wind. It was almost as if her mother was there kissing her forehead goodnight. "Good night," she mumbled slightly in her sleep.

Kai ended up walking through the whole town. He walked out sighing "Everything was too expensive." Kai said as he yawned. He actualy wasn't tiered but he was bored. kai looked around befor finding a tre to lay in. It wasn't a big tree but he didn't care. In one big jump he was in the air and over the tree. kai came crashing down into the top of the tree and moved around. Kai found a comfortable position where he was siting on a branch. Kai stared at the sky as he sat with his arms crossed and his legs along the wole length of the tree branch. Kai put his bag on a small branch above him and took a book out. He began reading it, actualy it was more of studing it. Kai looked it over, he knew most of the ancient languages words but some were still a bit dificult. Kai yawned agin. "i wish something would just happen, who cares what just something." kai said as he continued to try and desipher the rest of the book that he hadn't done.

Ebon was drifting in a place he called Dream Land. The name says it all, obviously. This time his dream was filled of his home. Or did he even have a home now? Who knows, it's been so long since he went back there. He's been travelling the lands from one side of the continent to the other. Of course he sometimes ventured to a foreign land, but that was a while back. Now he usually stayed here, as Blade put it, a Spawn hunter like oh-so-many other people, but not really. He didn't put all his time into hunting them, he just kept an eye out for them when he was travelling along. He never really went out of his way to kill them... Well, a couple times he did. He was unsuccessful, obviously.
His sleep was interrupted with noises of a questionable nature. Splashing water, bodies crashing into the ground, and let's not forget people talking, loudly I might add. When his eyes opened, he saw a Spawn that was now a torch, and Blade who made the Spawn that way. Usually Ebon would have gotten up faster, but what was the point? It looked like the spawn was dead, but he got up anyways. You never know, those spawn were pretty tricky bastards.
Ebon approached Blade and the other one. "Ha, I knew it! I knew there was something fishy about how you started that fire." Ebon said, chuckling. She appeared to have gotten slightly injured by the Spawn, nothing too dangerous though.
Ebon didn't bother complaining about his interrupted sleep. The sun would be coming up soon anyways, and he always did like to get moving early. "So, what now? Should we leave, or do you want to make sure this spawn is completely dead first?"

"Help is always great." Blade told Rina as she heard the girl run up behind her. "Rina, I want you to aim as best as you can at its legs and at its tail. I can make it stop for just three seconds so aim as fast and as well as you can."
Now Ebon came up to join them, in a rather lazy manner in fact. He didn't seem to think that the spawn was going to get back up. "Be sure that it's dead first." Blade responded to Ebon, still looking at the spawn. "A spawn does not die from just one hit like that. And it's a water spawn so my fire shouldn't have effected it so well...."
A few seconds passed but the fire continued to burn away at the limp body. However Blade refused to believe that the spawn had died so easily. It was tricking them, she could sense it.
Then the water in the lake stirred, swirling around once before it rose up into the air and took the form of a jagged ice dagger. The ice flew down directly at them, making Blade jump back. The ice shattered, sending out sharp chips everywhere as if it were glass. Blade covered her face with her arms and then looked back up just as the water spawn stood up and began to shake itself. The fire began to vanish from its body, turning into steam as water filtered out from the scales that rippled along the spawn's body. The spawn began to draw back, obviously deciding that it wanted to flee. Blade made another growling sound, lifting one of her hands up and pointing it at the spawn.
"You stupid piece of crap! You can't run away from me that easily you b*****d demon!" Blade fumed as she reached back and pulled off a sword from her back. The spawn was a good distance away from Blade, but that didn't matter to her. Her heart was thundering loudly in her chest, adrenalin sweeping itself through her veins. If she could kill this spawn, it would take her one more step closer to destroying Tidal! He would pay for what he had done!
Blade flattened her pointed hand and then stretched her fingers out, calling out at the shadows. The moon was half full, and with Blade standing in its light she wouldn't be able to hold onto her power as much as she would like to. But at least the moon wasn't full, then she would have been in some deep s**t. Blade blinked once and something that looked like black ink seemed to spill out from her pupils and then cover up her irises. Then the shadows around the spawn stretched up, locking its feet and its tail. The spawn screeched again, jerking itself around to try and get itself out from its prison. Blade could hear it, the scream echoing through her mind and her body. She could also feel small thin scratches appear where the light of the moon hit her skin. The light was peeling her skin open, but not fast enough to where it could cause Blade too much damage.

Eni watched from a distance, not quite understand what the creature she dubbed Shining Evil was. Was the evil the s word the group kept mentioning? The spawn? Eni didn't know what a spawn was, her sisters were so jaded of the world that they told her nothing about it. Eni's mind slowly drifted off into the past and to her home. Sure, it was a cave and not really comfy, but it was all Eni had. The more she thought of it, the more she wanted to be back. Why did they have to send her out for?
Eni snapped back into reality when the creature attacked again. A few stray ice daggers headed toward Eni's way. Naturally, since she was in good terms with the Water Spirit, the ice daggers really didn't do anything to her. The robed girl simply raised her hand in the direction of the daggers and ice turned into water. But unfortunately, Eni was too excited about her achievement that she didn't follow through with the work. The melted ice splashed into her face.
Eni stood there a little dumbfounded until she realized what had happened. Laughing at her own foolishness, Eni pulled her damp hair away from her face as she watched Blade battled the creature. She watched Blade jumped into the air and summoned the power of shadow. Eni didn't like that, she didn't like it at all. Darkness was a dangerous toy to play with and yet this Blade girl didn't even seem to care. Eni couldn't help but think that one day the girl would learn her lesson.
But until that day came, Eni thought she should at least support Blade since they were going to be travelling together. No need to make enemies, Eni had enough problems as she was.

Trisha flicked her left eye open as she saw everyone stand, and then it hit her. Something isn't right. Lifting her bow off her lap she forced ehrself up with her legs as her back crawled up the tree.
Opening her other eye as she stood tall she sniffed into the air and opened her mind to the forest. Breathing in she let all the sounds on the campfire and the chat of the people here drift away to the back of her mind. All the animal's have left this area of the forest, even the protectors of the forests are gone.
As Trisha opened her eyes and went back to her regular breathing pattern, the sounds of the camp came like a bang back to her head, making her rush her hand up to her head. Shaking it off she looked back at the people at the fires, and for the first time, spoke. "All the children of the forest are gone, and I have a feeling that that thing in the fire isn't the only one here."
