I agree that she needs a better part in KH. Namine's part was much more interesting.

Reasons Why I Don't Like Kairi (a list)
- she's a mary sue (specially in kh1) and a damsel in distress
-she's POINTLESS
-she can't fight
-she doesn't really have a keyblade (Riku just handed her a stick with flowers on it)
-her voice is annoying
-Namine is much better
-she doesn't deserve to be with Sora

I have no idea what a mary Sue is unless its some kind of American person thats annoying and in the first game she didnt exactly have much of a choice. In the second game she actually DIVED INTO THE DARKNESS TO FIND SORA .... not exactly damsel in distress moment. Anywhoom moving on...

heart ZOMG! I LOVE KAIRI! heart I don't know how people can hate her! She's so great, and totally loves Sora and he loves her, too. She couldn't do anything to save him or anything 'cause she doesn't have a weapon. Though when she gets her keyblade, it's pretty kickass. whee People always tell me that I look like Kairi in the second one... 3nodding I think it's funny 'cause I cut my hair a couple inches and now people almost attack me 'cause of it... "YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO GET IT STYLED LIKE KAIRI!!!"... Oops ...
And I'd have to agree that Aeris' voice actress SUCKS in the second one... gonk Maybe she's never heard of emotion? sweatdrop Then again, Aeris is supposed to be dead... emo And I HATE THAT THEY MADE HER NAME AERITH!!!! It makes it seem like she has a lisp!!! scream stressed

Blueberry_Jam_Hinata All around Gaia I've seen so many posts stating "Kairi sucks" or "I hate Kairi", but the fact of the matter is she isn't even in the game enough for anyone TO hate her! Kairi doesn't do anything worth hating her for except wait for so long for Sora and be a loyal friend to him! I find this offensive because I am a Kairi fan! yeah seriously, especially for ppl who like kairi or are LIKE kairi, i mean, i know that i'm like Kairi, cuz ppl tell me, and when ppl say that kairi sucks, it becomes personal. stressed

I think Kairi is just one of those people who some may hate/get annoyed by at first; but they just can't seem to hate her once they get to know her better.

Kairi is not my absolute favorite character in the game. i kinda like her though and if she was never in the first game there would be no reason for sora's adventure ._.

I don't hate her and I mean if you guys are mad at her because she didn't do anything, atleast she wasn't always in the way and screwing stuff up like they usually have the girls do in movies and other video games.

I'm just kind of jealous of Kairi because of her nobody, who her nobody ends up with, and how pretty she and Namine are!!! But other than that, she's okay. I guess some people hate her because she stole Sora from them or Riku or something...yeah...something like that...

The only thing I find wrong with Kairi is her little pink dress. But, I understand. The game was made for hormonal teenage boys who would like that kind of thing (girls, let's get over it, they ARE targeting the larger fanbase for the games here). Somebody get her some pants or that cool armor they've got coming up and I'll be just fine! 3nodding
