So, I just saw the trailer two days ago. Needless to say, I've seen it more than 20 times. x]
Also, I happened to find the entire Broadway Musical, so I watched that this morning.
I thought it was great!
Johnny can sing. I'm pretty happy. I love the song Epiphany...so that little bit in the trailer..Oooo. I squee'd.

i am very, very excited to see this movie come out. i have loved the musical for a long time. it is fantastic!!!! and judging by the trailer johnny is going to do a fantastic job!

When I saw the trailer, I got even more excited than before! blaugh
I just love the whole feel of it already, and I was really curious about Johnny Depp's voice potential until now (it's good, although I'd like to hear more of it to have a definite opinion)!
Helena Bonham Carter's dress reminds me of her character Marla Singer from _Fight Club._ x)

I wonder if they are going to adjust the character of Mrs. Lovett dramatically.
I mean, really. Mrs. Lovett doesn't seem like a smart and clever individual. And I don't think Helena could fit playing that type of character.
Ahh well. We'll see.

i just saw the commercial for Sweeney Todd and i about fainted! he is so beautiful, i cant wait for it to come out!

My campus newspaper just gave out free movie posters for Sweeny Todd the other day. mine is now hanging in my room.

Today I was watching this show on the TVguide channel about movies and stuff that's coming out during the holiday season. I finally saw a few clips from "Sweedy Todd: The Demon of Fleet Street" I was spellbound by Sweedy's singing these words: "I will revenge thee" it was the absolute keenest; Johnny Depp has such a dreamy singing voice!!!!!! heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart

I was actually kinda disappointed that Johnny was picked for Sweeney Todd, 'cause from what I've heard from the clips, he sounds like a cross between Jack Sparrow and aa rock singer. Not exactly Sondheim style. Plus it'd be nice if the actors were picked based on singing talent. I know his acting would be superb, but I rather dislike his singing, personally.

Does anyone know what the ratings for the film will be in Canada? I'm a tiny bit worried. It's rated R in America, but then again, a lot of things are. ^____^;;
