Roule nodded eagerly. Make sure to tell noone! "Wait.." He said tentatively, "whatta bout Ma? I cant tell her either?" He didn't really have a problem with that... But Ma usually knew anything, even if he didn't want her to find out.. What if she found out about this? Then the magic would leak out!
Liang's magik would work, Roule thought happily, she was magical afterall! Besides, a person so pretty had to be magical anyways. He looked at the calligraphy, beaming at the page. Dragon! His one wish anyways, there was nothing else he wanted quite as much.
"Liannng?" He asked, making sure to still concentrate on his piece, "you have dragon right?" Though, what kind of strange dragon she could have.. if it was brightly coloured as her? Very fun to look at, indeed. Liang was older than him, so he was pretty sure she did have one, considering everyone else he had met had one also...

"Well... Maybe you can tell your Mother," She offered, knowing full well she would have wanted to do the same were she in his position. The girl stretched her wings out casually, giving a bit of a yawn. But again he asked about dragons. And this time, she couldn't give him a cheery answer. "Well, I'm sure I have one saved for me, it's an egg now though. I was supposed to go see it a while ago, but I chickened out. I'm going soon though," she promised, "And once it comes to live with me I'll tell you all about it, ok?"

Nodding energetically, the thought.. well, seeing a dragon was nice. If Liang could, huh, y'know, share her dragon for a bit, that'd be the best present ever~
Truth be told though, he didn't really want to tell Ma.. She'd just say it was some big bag of baloney and magic didn't exist, like her totally pessimistic self. But Roule believed, and he knew it would come true.
Noting the girl's yawn, Roule cocked his head sideways, looking at her through large eyes, "Liang tired?" He asked, though it seemed rather obvious. It was nice, the weather and the hill, and it made him a tad sleepy too. The weasel wondered how things like this could make him tired anyways...

"A little bit," Liang admitted, stirring the feathers on her wings to fix them. She looked over the table at the now-drying painting. "How about... How about we go find something to eat? I think there's an ice cream cart around here, would you like that?" She was going to offer to have Tea take them somewhere, but then again, she didn't even know where this boy's parents were, and she wasn't exactly the sort to break the rules. "They might have chocolate vanilla swirl," she offered, thinking that was the sort of thing he would like.

"Mmmm, ice cream.. but I gots no money," replied the boy sullenly, turning out the pockets of his shorts. His moods swung unexpectedly, changing rather quickly. Roule looked at the ice cream truck, and then back at the girl, a small pout pulling at the edges of his lips. I could go run and get Ma.. he thought, but thought better of it. She wouldn't let him come back if he went to her.
So what now? There was that stupid blatant ice cream truck, and it was staring him in the face now that he couldn't get any.

Liang frowned for a moment, the stuck her hand in her pocket. She had the money Teagan had given her, that was probably enough for both of them, though she wasn't really sure she wanted any of the sugary sticky mess herself. At the very least he seemed to want it. Flashing a smile, she put her hand on his shoulder, squeezing it lightly, "Don't worry about that, I'll pay for it. Just pick what you want, alright?" Teagan wouldn't get mad at her for buying ice cream for someone else, he was always talking about that do unto others stuff, and surely this was what he meant. Brother Teagan was smart like that.

The weasel hesitated; it didn't really seem right--taking money from Liang. But nevertheless, he was wanting something swet, and ice cream would definitely satisfy that. Roule looked around, deep amber eyes scanning the area for the tell-tale Ice Cream truck.
After spotting the colorful vehicle, the boy took Liang's hand in his and rushed off hurriedly, leaving the calligraphy brush and parchment on the table. They'd be back to get it anyways.
Upon reaching the small cart, Roule was panting lightly, and let go of the colorful bird's hand to glance at the selections with a certain glimmer in his eyes. There were so many! Tracing the images with his grubby fingers, he finally decided on the Bubblegum Tart. Pointing and nodding to the pink-and-blue icicle, the blond boy nodded in earnest to Liang.
"Is Liang gonna haf one too?"

Smiling, she picked up the wrapped icicle the vendor handed over and held it down to Roule. Was she going to have some? She looked over the selection, not finding any of the popsicles particularly appetizing. "Well," she said slowly, contemplating. Just then the soft serve option on the other side caught her attention. "Yeah, I think I will," she assured Roule before turning back to the vendor and adding, "And one small cup of vanilla with plenty of sprinkles!" As he turned to scoop the treat she counted out the money and set it down on the counter. By the time he turned back around to give her the ice cream she had finished counting it out and added in a tip. "Thank you," she said, taking the cup and a small spoon, "Come on Roule, let's go eat these before they melt." Thinking it over, she revised her statement, "But not too too fast or you'll get brain freeze."

The weasel nodded ethuthiastically, a small pink tongue darting out to slurp at a dripping piece under the popsicle. A small spear of pain climbed its way into his brain but Roule ignored it, flinching slightly.
So much for following Liang's advice.
Ah well. He shook it off and continued after the brightly hued girl, eager to show he could match her pace. The pale boy peered at the phoenix's ice cream with an introspective expression. He didn't really like soft-serve but it was good sometimes. Sprinkles however, were pretty delectable.
"Your ichecream is pretty just like you!" he exclaimed happily but was cut short by the thawing on his icicle. Roule muttered something before licking at the melting spot and then all around to make sure nothing was going to drip onto his shirt or pants. Ma would get mad.
