It doesn't really bother me, but I figured it would be a good idea to explain why I'm putting you in incredibly easy encounters. Krusk falls to the ground and bursts into flame the instant your arrow hits, going straight through his heart and incinerating his leather armor. "Oh gods! He killed Krusk!" shouts one of the orcs with a glaive. "Stop yelling and kill him!" yells the one with the falchion.

Okay and it does explain the encounters, but you could throw some difficult ones in if you want. +5 to init.
Foul fiends, defilers of the earth. You will burn with as much ease as your allie over there. I laugh in an evil way and smile grimly at them.

I thought about making these guys tougher, but if you had all that experience everybody else would be at a disadvantage. I'm trying not to throw off the curve here on encounters. "You'll regret insulting me, tree-hugger!" shouts the orc holding a falchion. He rushes at you with his falchion raised over his head, about to bring it down onto you. "....yeah, what he said." one of the orcs with a glaive says meekly. He brings down the glaive and rushes at you for an attack as well. rolling for attacks in order of initiative. +3 for both

I side step the fa;chion with ease, but cockily left my guard down and was hit by the glaive. Oh you'll regret that my little slime ball, I may not have brimstone but a wrath of fire should do nicely. You need to roll damage, mate.

"Well........I'm gonna beat you." says the glaive weilding orc. "Leave the talking to me," says the one with a falchion, "You two aren't exactly poets. As the glaive pierces your flesh, you feel it cutting deeper than you'd expect, and it seems to have weakened you.

Okay that leaves me with 74 HP and 13 Con, how long does the penalty last for.
I take a side step on a diangle five feet. Bad move you fiend, now your dead. I shoot three arrows, one at each glaive wielding orc and one at the falchion
The attacks are in order of what I wrote above, +15, +15, and +10 (-2 for rapid shot and +1 for point blank shot )

Maybe I should have enhanced their armor instead of their weapons. The constitution damage stays in effect until you heal from the wound. All of the orcs recoil simultaneously from your arrows as they burst into flame on their exposed flesh. Roll damage.

Yep, definately should have helped their armor.
All three orcs fall down as flames consume their entire bodies.
Roll a spot check.

After you spit on the orc's filthy, wretched body, you think you see a shadowy figure, but as soon as you look, it's gone if it's even there. You do, however, see almost the entire population of this dirty slum walking towards you. Each of them has a weapon drawn and none of them seem very happy.
"So you think you can just kill our friends like it's nothing, do ya? I think it's our turn now."

"Don't be so sure." someone in the throng says, "those guys were just small time. What you did is nothing compared to what we could have done. The thing is, around here we watch out for each other. We would have stepped in, but you're just an elf. Honestly, I'm surprised you cna even lift that bow of yours. Of course, we all have special weapons too. Your bow is nothing more than a trinket when compared to our massive arcane weaponry. We'll give you a chance to leave, but if you don't take it you're leaving in a pine box."
Everyone in the mob of people pulls out a weapon. Each one glows with magical power, and they all wear the same cloak which has a small glyph emblazened over their hearts. The glyph glows with the same energy as their weapons.

Interesting weaponry and cloaks do tell me who's your clothes designer I'd like to pay them a visit. I give them a slight bow and put my bow on my shoulder showing them I have no intention in fighting them. I'm sorry for your comrades deaths but they threatend me first so I had no choice and then after thhe first one died I gave the surving three a choose to flee but they refused it.
