In progress skiiiirt... I'm debating whether I want more lace than what's there, or not. Almost definitely not-- but there are some gather problems that bother me and I want to hide. . emotion_facepalm .
I guess there are just parts to resew on that count.
Also, it'll be gathered either in the back with a bow, or on the sides [probably without bows at all.. mmmn]. Either way, there'll be a pale cream-yellow underskirt and [hopefully] a white petticoat when it's done. The fabric is actually cotton [my flash made it look shiny and weird] and the lace is off white with pale, cream-yellow pearls.
Any suggestions on it?

w00t I'm starting a new dress! Its from Gothic & Lolita Bible 22, the Angelic Pretty dress <3333 and there is a pattern for a matching Super Dollfie sized dress. I cant wait to get started! I tried to trace the patterns out late night but my hand died X.X so I'm going to Kinkos today to photo copy them. But I need help on the color DDX I cant decide, I'm not sure if I should do my normal pink or branch out to another color.
Edit!!: I think I'm going to do it black and white. But I'm still not sure >.< my mom says I should do it blackXwhite and my dad says I should do it pinkXwhite!! I love both colors >.<
I have all the patterns done and now I'm just doing the material list.

^-^ I 'm extreamly happy!!! Currently I have started working on making my own lolita dress.. I have already compleated the preliminary drawings and am now going to gather all the supplies I need... once I load my scanner I'll upload them... if anyone wishes to see them... sweatdrop 3nodding whee 4laugh ^-^

*squeel* YES!!!! My dad took me out to a sewing store and bought me a large amount of cloth and a new sewing machine!!!! now all I need to do is have the time to sew my designs... Any ways... this week I'll load my scanner and put up my designs... 3nodding
Edit: Ummm...... I'll put it up as soon as I find the USB cord for my scanner.... sweatdrop

I'm almost done with the dress!!!! I have decided to ditch the detachable sleeves and collar and just wear a blouse under it. I have decided to make it black and white. I'm done with the front and now I'm working on the back, I'm almost done with too! But I fell asleep before I could finish it XD All I have to do is attatch the sleeves, put the ruffles on the skirt, then sew up the sides! I hope I can finish it before V-day.
Working with the Gothic & Lolita Bible patterns is different then working with the Gosuloli patterns. I always love changes <3

Well... here are the designs I promised... like a few weeks ago... scanner still not agreeing but my camera is... I'll also post my pic of my skirt that I'm working on... in a few days..*knowing me... try a week*... Oh, and yes... I know... the quality of the pictures of my designs bite... but what do you expect from a camera.... stupid scanner.
Skirt 1This is the design of my current skirt that I am working on.... I'm not directly posting it because the pics are kind of big.
Blouse 1 ummm... this was my first blouse that I designed.... it kind of bites... sweatdrop
blouse 2.... goes with the next skirt.
skirt 2 this is not complete.... well yeah... umm the lace is going to be all black.... just not in this pic.
blouse 3this actually goes with the skirt I'm currently making... just haven't gotten to starting it yet....

Dress 1 Please excuse the over exaduration of the bow... it was for art class... this is actually my very first design but..... it's a little frightening for a first try so I chose my skirt... Also... the abundence of drawing was due to excess stress... drawing is my stress relief...
PS: Yes.. I am aware that my blouses are more 'Tops' than blouses... oh well sweatdrop
PPS: PLLEEEEEAAASSSEEE give me some feed back on anything you might see can be improved. sweatdrop xd 3nodding whee 4laugh

O: those designs are pretty cute! I'm not a huge fan of princess sleeves (whatever they are called) on blouses though ^.^; The dress is pretty cute! On the accessories page the bonnet (top left corner) isnt the lolita style its more of the Little House on the Prairie style.
D: I would post some of my designs I just suck at drawing them XD they look great in my head but not so great on paper. o.o also they are going to be used for my store I'm setting up currently.

Edit: This is what I have so far... haven't sewn the waist yet so it's not in the bell shape it should be buuuutttt.... eh... still missing lace on the bottom tier and some decorative lace that may be on the overskirt... but meh... :p

i dont dig the sleeves either. i had a few shirts like that and they were just plain annoying. just a warning.
im making some headress right now to sell on ebay. one is a nice round one toped with a hand folded paper rose. its verry pretty, in my ideas.
im having some problems sewing nice rounds. im a perfectionist.
should i make the one i sell black * white or just black? btw the rose it black.
icesinger i cant wait for your shop!!!

D: It should be up fairly soon, right now its going to be a commission only thing then if it goes ok I will have some ready made stuff. I should be working on the layout but I'm all fluffy feeling X333333 *got to play with kittens today*
